  11. I think you're right. New Coke was basically Pepsi. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't Coke. Wow, the marketing campaign was strong, too, sending a case to every newspaper office in America! I remember it well. I think you've summed this up for me. ROP will be something, just not LOTR. Expect Amazon's formidable marketing to push it hard, though. I expect to see Ring logos on the side of Amazon trucks everywhere!

  30. I actually won't tell my 90 year old Mom what Disney has fallen to. When she was young, Fantasia captivated her, kicking off a lifelong interest in painting, art, and sculpture. She wrote Walt Disney when she was young and told him she wanted to work there. To her vast surprise, he wrote back! He encouraged her to keep drawing and painting, finish school, and then to apply. Walt Disney was a class act. He had some of the kindest eyes I've ever seen.
