  5. WOW!! The paint work is mint! So is the dashboard & leather seats, with leather seats they get shiny when they get worn,that leather has been really cherished. The engine bay is beautiful too. I worked for Toyota in the early 90's,a brand new Camry leather interior looks the same as that Lexus! That car was really cherished. 💖 Thanks for the video Amd.

  8. No, just don't believe what the coolant bottle say, i used Prestone on my Toyota every 4yrs for 13yrs with no issue with the same water pump & thermostat.

  14. Mine was awesome! 2002 1.3L here in the UK was brilliant, 49mpg best. Changed the TYPE4 fluid only once halfway through my 13 yrs ownership,well drained & re filled twice in a week as i got a 5L bottle that does each drain of 2.2L. Got it on 2008 till 2021.

  15. You really do give us great hints,tips,what to look for,what to do,what not to do etc. Really appreciate your help,Amd. Oh,apparently my 2015 Yaris (UK) has had 3 wheel bearing done,they're weak apparently,front was done some years ago before i purchased it,and very recently i had both rear wheel bearings done. They're weak on them,i researched it,they do roar too,when rev'd up...as my researched also say. But it's a really comfy car,great mpg,got 58mpg coming back from west London to outside N. London.Effortless drive too,responsive and really smooth. I still keep in touch with the last owner when i sold my 2002 Yaris 1.3L auto....that wasn't as comfy,thou.

In 2011 i did my MAF just for the sake of it & no issues at all for (10 yrs on zero issues,2002 Yaris) i did it so everything is tip top & there's nothing to worry about in years to come, why wait for the CEL (Check Engine Light) to come on then you gotta resolve it but in the meantime the engine may be putting in more fuel which nobody wants.

  29. Don't forget your P/S fluid,i suck mine out,add more,wait a day then repeat it for 3 days on changed my on my old 2002 Yaris every time i do the coolant.

  30. My Yaris 2015 (1NR-FE) 1.3L CVT is awesome! I get 60mpg,drives lovely.I'm confused to why it has flappy paddles on the steering lol I just love it when i poodle around in town doing 30mph and on duel carriage ways at 60mph. The revs are at 2,000rpm at 60mph & 1,000rpm at 30mph. My old Yaris 2001 (2NZ-FE) 1.3L 4 speed auto is at about 4.500rpm at 70mph and best mpg i ever got was 49mpg.

  31. @balabay77 Worked for Toyota in the early 90's which i jet washed Toyota engines & the area manager caught me TWICE! He did warn me the first time. Never had any issues,i didn't go overboard jetting it,i just made sure the chemical was pretty strong but not overly strong/powerful....a decent scrub prior to jetting is what i did.no comebacks thou..

  32. The seats on my 2002 were terrible too, i liked the dashboard layout, here in the UK i had a 1.3L 4sp auto 49mpg best! The ride wasn't the best,it was more of a city car, i got a 2015 Yaris now & it's much better, ride,comfort fuel.

  38. Here in the UK they're twice as much! 2015 Yaris Hybrids are £12,500 if you're lucky!! With 60,000. Non hybrid Yaris 1.3L 2015 with 60,000 are £6,000. Fuel atm is approx £7.80 a gallon, crazy!!!

  40. My 2015 1.3L Yaris XP150 90,000m needed both rear wheel bearings,heard it was common before i even purchased it. £150 for it to be done,not bad really,parts,labour.

  43. Not sure myself maybe Amd may help on that, but when a bottle of oil/fluid is open....do use it before 1.5yrs or throw away after 2 years.

  45. I worked for Toyota UK back in the day,they were so reliable & awesome cars,we had a rare one in yellow auto & only 2 were in the UK. White was the best seller then red. Thing is a lot of us Brits did rag 'em 😂 MK3's were one of the best handling cars on the road for the money when they came out,Lotus Elise were expensive thou.
