  2. I do not think it's on purpose, she is simply not an expert on the subject, unknowledgable. DW is a relatively small station with tiny funds, as compared to the other media. In Fox the host would have interrupted the European Space Agency representative for a couple of times, and cut his words. Generally seen DW has no direct agenda, except promoting Germany in the world. I know you guys are used to US and British media, but DW is not like them. What I don't like is always these animated pictures, there no much real footage. China complains about the world media not reporting about it ... but who wants to see animated movies?

  4. BS. They didn't have free-flowing transmission spreading policy in Europe. Europe has limited tolerance policy. Taiwan is absolutely an example. The people there enjoy more freedom, and their economy is one of the few showing growth this year. Taiwan should be heading a world pandemic strategies task force. Not the WHO.

  7. I concur. It is more difficult for Germany, who started 2 times catastrophic wars against Russia. But now it is time to do more. We should do everything to end this crazy and useless war asap. I am sure the Germans will also understand some hardship for some time, until the Russian fascist government has been de-installed.

Don't take me word by word but that was it in a nutshell. I am not always a friend of the US, but here they are taking things the right way. Translated it means, that this organization has lost all credibility everywhere in the world.

In the block where I lived in Guangzhou were several women with kid who lived off the money of a man who came only once a week or so. Everyone knew about it.

  32. What do you know how the Iran would be like without those sanctions? Iran is a country with educated people, and strong modern women. They are forward thinking and would love to be a normal part of the world. Even the men do support women who want to do a job and decide about theirs lives, at least most of them. The Iran government is a bunch of stone-age, semi-senile men who are in stark contrast to what the real people are. They do not represent their population, or only a small part of it.

  41. I concur. Germany had tried for 50 years to be a real friend to China, and that not only for business reasons, but is also out of cultural admiration. Deng Xiaoping was one of the best friends of the late chancellor Helmut Schmitt. He was one of the last foreigners Mr. Deng saw, before he went very sick and died. The same applies to Lee Kwan Yew from Singapore. Both were not normal political friends, but real friends. All 3 were real leaders and clever men. Mr. Schmitt had a deep understanding of China and wanted that Germany is a friend not only for business and money. But the current Chinese government does not know anymore what are friends.

I know it is modern now, but if watching a 3 to 5 minute report that at least highlight a bit of background is already too much for some, then I suggest forget it. Then probably we should not have news and documentaries anymore.
