You are lying, the only country manipulates its currency or uses it as a weapon (to start trade wars and sanctions) is the USA, China produces goods, Russia produces resources that most of the world sought after, dollars however will be worth nothing when people stop trading with them.

The West (using its official mouthpieces) is now so anti China, it just uses any opportunity to sling mud at China, spreading the China threat/feat talking points. But the sad thing is there are always people who buy wholesale of these untruth. They are too lazy to do their own research. Thanks Ben again for doing some real journalism here.

@worfoz You are however NOT factually correct, but rather deluded to think, this war will "destroy" or even weaken Russia for that matter, no, to the contrary, there is never going to be any worry for Russia to find customers for its energy, and with Russia being completely self sufficient on resources, it will never be weakened or destroyed, and plus, how do you destroy a country that has the most number of nukes on earth, both the West and Ukraine are deluded, instead it is the West and Ukraine who are paying the heaviest price for this self inflicted crisis which you obviously have no concern of, especially the human cost of it, yeah you bots just keep preaching the NATO narrative, you can only fool yourselves. Which countries have committed the most war crimes, it is certainly NOT Russia.

@worfoz Lol, OK whatever you say, I get you have to write the NATO script, an American arms dealership and warmongers cartel that killed millions and still killing as we speak. By far I have seen far more war crimes committed by Ukraine than Russia, after all it fits with what Ukraine really is, a f-ed up Nazi state, what else do I expect. And again, the US/West is the biggest imperialistic empire, everyone knows this, especially themselves, because they have every intention to let its evil reign continue.

@worfoz You should read the UN charters Article 45 first, that is what most countries (including Russia) in the world follows - yes international law - something the US/West breaks repeatedly without any consequence, and I do hope you will also be explaining NATO's war crimes, illegal invasions and annexations too in the Hague, the rest of the world would be overjoyed if you do, and we also have proof of these crimes, plenty of them. The only problems is you are too much of a coward to face up your own evil deeds.

@rickstevenson9585 Only ''zero evidence'' if you don't take the words of your Secretary of State ''tremendous opportunity'' as confirmation of US' act, and also absolutely zero news on the ''investigation'' of the sabotage, wouldn't it be in the US' favour to carry out the ''investigation'' asap proving that Russia indeed did it and spread this news everywhere? And btw, if you care to use your half braincell I am sure you could figure out that all Russia has to do is turn off the tap on their end, instead of blowing up their own infrastructure that costed them lots of time and a few billions.

What the US/West wants is a China that is fully Westernised with the US style democracy, profit orientated unfettered capitalism, liberal cultural values, identity politics, mindless consumerism and a generation of youth that care nothing but having fun. Unfortunately, China has its own strong culture, and they can see increasingly how Western culture and systems are failing the West. Why would anyone want to take on a clearly failing political and economic model of the US/West, it is a no brainer. China has been a major world economy for 2000 years prior to Western aggression/colonialism, it is only returning to its rightful place.

The US has been deindustrialising since the 80s thanks to its neoliberal economic policies, the EU is being sacrificed for the US agenda to contain Russia/China, making the entire West less and less competitive against China. They've also been applying economic protectionism and unilateral sanctions (violating their own trade platform WTO rules and destroying the credibility of their global financial system) against China and Russia but so far not achieving the desired outcome. The US/West is on the path of self destruction, all Russia/China will do is not interrupting. Time is clearly on the side of China Russia led multipolar world.

Ben I have not found another political commentator on YouTube who has your level of understanding of China/Asia, many Western people think negatively about Globalization, actually China and many Asian countries benefitted from (Western) globalization, the problem is not capitalism, it is the uncontrolled profit chasing behaviour (or greed) of capitalists plus all the favorable policies from their Western governments that support this behaviour, because they (the capitalists) are so powerful they could influence the policy making of these governments, whereas in China, no capitalist would have any influence on the political ideology and (foreign) policies of the Chinese government.

I've always known the US/West holds these hypocritical values, yet they lecture others on these ''values'' they've never believed nor supported in actual reality. Worse, the Western liberals who have been buying into these are useful idiots promoting Western (military) interventions worldwide. They are no different from the Neo-con warmongers whose only goal is to extend US/Western hegemonic interests through imperialism/neo-colonialism.
