@parker2793 ..Good points, and I agree many mistakes were made. That said, I've flown Boeing planes hundreds of times. And I flew the Max many times before it was grounded. As you point out, it's reasonable to expect the safety issues have been properly addressed. We still drive cars/trucks that have had catastrophic mechanical failures resulting in deaths and recalls. This situation is no different.

Cuomo's incompetence made New York State a global epicenter for the pandemic. Compare California's numbers for Covid and remember they have DOUBLE the population. Forget about bailouts...Cuomo should be recalled.
5
So...eating bats isn't smart. Who knew. smh

Among the comments that need to go away on Youtube are those about the number of views or likes/dislikes. Comments like these are a great example of why the thumbs down icon should register.
4
Just curious...Do you blame Cuomo and de Blasio for over 32,000 deaths in New York State (about 1/4 of the country's deaths). If no, why not?
4
According to the CDC website, close to 70,000 have died since Feb 1 from a serious contagious viral infection....pneumonia. Perspective people.
4
Sure, take away even more freedoms from your citizens. That's a REALLY good idea China. (said in a very sarcastic tone)

@yurikendal4868 ...I agree McConnell's been behind some political games. My point is he's not wrong about the hypocrisy from the Biden Administration regarding saying they want "unity" while forcing through a $2 Trillion bill. And he's right about the Democrats leveraging a Congressional loophole.
4
@yurikendal4868 ...And please expand on your claim that "white supremacists" are somehow related to this issue?
4
Obama led the worst recovery from recession in history and added $10 Trillion to our debt doing it. And if he did such a great job with the economy why were the Democrats slaughtered in the 2014 midterms? The slaughter included the GOP taking back the House and adding a record NINE new Senate seats. Obama's lies and incompetence started the downfall of the Democrat party. Trump's 2016 landslide win came next. The best thing people can do for the country's safety and prosperity is vote Trump and the GOP this fall.
4
Gotta love how Trump handled this. Particularly the Biden point and telling the press to "Keep building this up as big as possible so you can have a bigger downfall".
4
Trump wins on the economy. No one believes Biden's unicorn promises, including a magical "4 million green jobs" that he thinks will replace the high paying jobs in energy he will eliminate.
4
@bentmercer ..Fun Fact: I'm a Trump supporter. I think the chances of illegal Democrat votes is FAR greater than illegal Republican votes.
4
"Nothing the President said constituted unprotected incitement, as narrowly defined by the Supreme Court over nearly a century of decisions. His volatile words plainly fell on the side of "political advocacy", which is protected speech."----Alan Dershowitz
4
The Senate also represents the people.
4
You know he was referring to their use of the virus for political games as the hoax...right?
4
I'm trying to decide who Biden looks more like...the banjo-playing kid in Deliverance or Reverend Kane from Poltergeist.
3
The flu virus changes yearly, which is why the vaccine also changes. So of course Covid will do do the same. The current vaccine will be useless within a year. Buy stock in Pfizer if you can.

Let's drill down to the core concept of this topic: Constitutional Separation of Power. Trump has been very smart to leverage the power of the Executive Branch throughout his Presidency, just as past Presidents have done. He's also been incorrectly accused of "abuse" of this power The Congressional branch also has significant power. I'm biased, but I think the Democrat's 100% partisan impeachment is the definition of abuse of power. The third branch, the Judiciary/SCOTUS, also has tremendous power. But much like the Congressional branch, they have one major flaw...no term limits. Trump's smart to bring up the problem of the SCOTUS weighing in on political issues. It's not their job.
3
@davidg.3406 ...So, I assume you wouldn't question America's 'sovereign' right to build artificial islands in international waters in the South China Sea?
3
@jtown-y9p ..You lose all credibility when you repeat a media lie. Trump never said the virus was a hoax. The context of the word 'hoax' was the Democrats using the crisis to attacking him with lies...just like impeachment. Read his full quote in link below...and stop repeating lies. Regarding Covid, you really need to stop watching fear-mongering media and educate yourself on the big picture. Here, I'll help: 1. Of the deaths officially attributed to Covid thus far, about 48,000 were people who also had pneumonia. 2. The mortality rate is now less than 1%. 3. Only 7% of the deaths attributed to Covid thus far have it listed as the "only cause". In other words, there were other underlying health factors for the other 93%. 4. Weekly deaths have been falling like a stone since mid April. The number of cases is only part of the story. Source for above data: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm Source for Trump's "hoax" comment: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-coronavirus-rally-remark/

Demagogue: A leader who gains popularity by leveraging emotion, prejudice and ignorance to roust the common people against the elites and establishment. I remain perplexed there's still people who haven't figured out this describes Bernie... perfectly. And as a Trump supporter, I'm loving the Democrat circus and our chances to Keep America Great, regardless if we're up against Sleepy Joe or Bernie-the-Demagogue.
3
Trump does a great job in these scrums. I encourage people to watch them fully rather than just one or two sentences that media will cherry pick.
3
Why would you focus on how people communicate rather than what they say? Do you realize how illogical that is?
3
There's one good thing that may come from the death and suffering in this latest global pandemic....Those who've been brainwashed by the religion/cult businesses to believe in a "God" (pick one) may finally realize there's no such thing.
3
74 million disagree.
3
Goldfish I ..Well, as Alaska Governor Sarah Palin famously said, we can see Russia from Alaska. They’re a close neighbor up there.
3
@SeaJay_Oceans ..I'll bet they regret it everyday. $7.2 million is all they charged. Even in 2019 dollars it's a ridiculously low amount.
3
It would be helpful to see some actual footage of the incident. I can't find it anywhere. One would think there'd be plenty of video from the tanker, the navy ship, drones, etc? One would think the UK would be quick to release such footage.
3
Here's a sure sign you have full blown TDS...you see this as bad news.
3
@parker2793 ..I agree the deaths were tragic and it's unimaginable to think of the terror. In terms of comparisons, we could also look at issues Airbus has had, some of which resulted in crashes and many deaths. When I fly Airbus these days, I trust the issues that led to previous crashes won't occur. Just like I hope that Prius coming at me on the freeway won't have its gas pedal jam. And just like I trust the Max won't have the same issues that caused the crashes.
3
@burnamm7127 ..No one will force you to fly on the Max. There's plenty of options out there. Personally, I'll have no problem. And I'll probably have more options on airlines, price and flight-times than you. Again, it's your choice.
3
I still don't understand why Newsom wasn't recalled for ignoring the results of the 2016 Referendum on Capital Punishment. The majority of people voted to retain the death penalty but Newsom decided that Democracy only works if it aligns with his viewpoint. And don't get me started on California's sanctuary laws.
3
Pelosi is incompetent and petulant. She's supposed to be steering the ship but instead is sinking the Democrat party.
3
@paftaf ...Just to be clear, do you support China building islands in international waters (in defiance of international law)?
3
@roni-yah9342 ..Fair point. But there's an extremely important detail implied by the Swine Flu death numbers: "an estimated 150,000 to 600,000". The reason for this huge spread is the VAST majority of people don't die from the Flu or the China Virus....they die due to complications with underlying health conditions. My point is clear...people need to lower their panic level and look at the big picture and historical lessons. While it's inevitable we'll see 10s of thousands of more deaths due to the China Virus, it's nothing new.
3
Pelosi say's Biden was "authentically decent"?! So...calling the President of the United States a "clown" and telling him to shut up is decent. smh Pelosi's lies, hypocrisy and incompetence continues to do more for Trump's chances than any other Dem leader.
3
Trump continues to provide excellent leadership on geopolitical issues. He'll always be a no-win with the TDS crowd and certain media, but they don't understand how complicated the decisions can be.
3
Trump tells it like it is. The jockstrap reference was perfect. Mostly because he's right, but also because it'll upset the Dems and TDS crowd.
2
I believe you're referring to Spock's use of the phrase: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". From a Constitutional perspective, the principle can be rephrased as: "The rights of the many outweigh the rights of the individual". The SCOTUS has used this principle in decisions, particularly on interpretations of the 4th Amendment. And it's an apt reference for a pandemic.
2
Four years of lies, hate, and hypocrisy from Democrat leaders and 90% of our media is the primary reason the country is divided.
2
Trump could announce he personally discovered a cure for the virus and the TDS crowd would find something to criticize. Seek help people.
2
@thedoopa3169 ..Good info, thanks for passing on and I'm glad you're well. Your experience confirms what we've heard from many who've been infected. And it confirms what many of us are thinking....we'll likely look back on the response to the China Virus outbreak and see that it wasn't as bad as past pandemics, or perhaps even as bad as regular seasonal flu (which has killed over 12,000 this year, including 100 children...in our country alone).
2
I'll bet there's people who think Harris is black. Just like there's still people who think Obama is black. They're best described as 'mixed race' or 'people of color'.
2
A reminder that people can self-diagnose if they have TDS. For example, if this video makes you want to attack Trump for simply working on the economy, you have TDS. Or if you bring up the Ukraine phone call, you definitely have TDS. Seek help.
2
@FaintFivesnE ... The Obama deficit point is the definition of confirmation bias. Remember, he also added about $10 Trillion to national debt. Moreover, he led the worst recovery from recession in history (measured by GDP growth year over year). The slow growth, higher taxes, economy-killing policies (+ lies and scandals) were why he led the Democrats to slaughter in the 2014 midterms, and eventually to Trump's landslide 2016 electoral victory. (I'm also guilty of confirmation bias)
2
@FeralCompanions. and Faint nE...I congratulate both you gentlemen for an ability to have an adult discussion on the topic. It's rare in a Youtube comment section for any vid that's related to Trump, where insults, ad-hominem and hypocrisy rule. We could go back and forth all day citing data to back up our opinions. Throughout it all, we'd all be using confirmation bias to defend our position. For example, I could also provide numerous links to non-partisan sites to refute your points... and then you'd do the same in return. So...let's just agree to disagree. And I'd be remiss not to bring the discussion back the big picture, which includes my aforementioned point on the poor/slow Obama economy (+ his lies and scandals) leading the Dems to slaughter in the 2014 midterms, and eventually to Trump's landslide 2016 electoral victory. Again, good job. I'm sure we'll chat again sometime down the road during Trump's second term.
2
@RNNX86 ..That's a different discussion. I'm talking about communication networks and infrastructure. China's law means they could leverage Huawei products and technologies in foreign countries for intelligence and cyber attacks.
2
If you wanted more proof that its mostly the Democrats who abuse Congressional powers, crap on the Constitution, and divide this country....this is it.
2
@totallyrandomhorror ..Your comment needs clarity. Why do you think there's "fat chance"?
