When China tried to manipulate the market in the past, new mines were opened (or reopened) in many countries, including the US. They don’t have near as much leverage and control as they once did.

It's estimated that hundreds of thousands have had the virus and recovered, without ever being tested...and thus never registered as an official case. Therefore, we know this pandemic will have a massive spread in assumed deaths. This is much like the Swine Flu pandemic 10 years ago, which officially killed between about 150,000 and 575,000 globally. That 425,000 difference is quite telling.

  11. Fun Fact: Obama signed the $Billion dollar boondoggle known as the "Paris Climate Accord" by Executive Order, not through Congress. From an economic sense, the Accord benefits the world's worst polluters (China and India). Yet Biden has promised to rejoin the Accord, which will decimate jobs in the energy sector and hurt the economy. Democrats really need to ask themselves if this is required, particularly since we've lowered our greenhouse gas emissions by about 2% over the past decade.

  17. Good points. Especially the fact DACA was enacted through an Obama Executive order rather than through Congress. It's a flawed process andit's legality and Constitutionality is still up for debate. But you'd never hear Dems admit this, as doing so would be criticizing Obama. Trump's approach to the issue has been good and while some say he's reversed course, I call it compromising and looking at the big picture.

For example, the ones eliminating Trump border policies that were a huge deterrent to illegals and the cartels. Didn't the Democrats promise 'unity' and 'bi-partisan cooperation"?

  26. On a related topic...There are STILL people who think Trump's 2017 travel and immigration ban on 7 Muslim countries who support terrorism is proof he's a "Religious Bigot" and "Racist". I've had people use these terms in recent chats. Trump's ban was for national security. Obama had implemented the exact same ban, as did dozens of other countries. I'm just pointing out yet another example of how ignorance and TDS is an epidemic in the country. .

Let me explain, using the most common lies. 1. Trump never called white supremacists "fine people". He condemned their actions in the Charlottesville riots. The context of "fine people on both sides" was the peaceful protests on a statue removal, not the riots. 2. Trump never said all Mexicans are "rapists and drug dealers". The context of his comment was the thousands of criminals pouring across our un-secure border. 3. Trump never wanted to ban Muslims. He simply put a travel ban on 7 Muslim countries that support terrorism. The SAME BAN that Obama had put in place. 4. Trump asking Obama to produce his birth certificate wasn't remotely racist. He was simply questioning whether he was born in the country and eligible to be President. 5. There's a lot of old stories trying to claim Trump is racist, and all are lies or presumption. For example, his "Central Park Five" newspaper ad and an old case from the 1970s where it was alleged his apartment buildings wouldn't rent to blacks. If you read the facts behind both stories, you'll discover there was zero evidence of racism. 6. Some Dems and Trump haters claim he's been racist saying things like "Shithole countries" about some African countries and "Rat infested, crime ridden" about Baltimore. But a logical person would agree with both statements and not see anything remotely racist. I could go on and on with examples of media and Democrat lies trying to claim Trump's racist. I know you'll never change your mind on disliking Trump. Just ensure it's not based on lies.

I think it's completely unacceptable the Dems are holding up the stimulus package to push unrelated political agendas. We can debate the details of the corporate bailout and accountability, but it's at least directly related the crisis. I encourage all Dem supporters to email their Senator and ask why they're using unrelated issues such as Obamacare and the Green New Deal for political leverage. The China Virus crisis isn't the time. The Dems are holding the country hostage.

  43. I had Covid last March. I've had worse cases of the flu. Those with underlying health conditions, including smokers (weed or cigs) and the obese, should be careful but it's ludicrous to be overly afraid.
