I live in hilly Hereford uk. I hear batteries dont like hills
13
Dilithium crystals
13
Like i said a year ago. I challenge autopilot to come to my Herefordshire in winter on a rainy night on our twisty turny potholed roads at night on a friday night when more drunks are on the road and drive safely
13
Just a daily update that my 14 year old....audi a3 diesel exhaust is still silver on the insde at the end.. Plus elon musk is a ponzi scheme manager for tesla and a defence contractor
13
They're reading the very words we're typing here using the new domestic servant called A.I.
12
@raypalmer7733 physics are physics. The roads in Hereford are getting pummelled by heavy vehicles. The pneumatic hydro pressure on wet pothole is quite fantastic. The heavier the car the bigger the damage. Typically the repaired potholes only last two months during the wet /freeze/dry winter conditions. The other thing is the EV suspension not hold up. My 200kg diesel engine is quite heavy and I've already broken 3 front coil springs. I wonder what the 750kg battery's will do to the tesla as it ages.
12
You have more chance to see two unicorns mating than seeing a tesla on the Paris to Dakar rally
12
In the olden days people with convertibles would drive around with huge smiles on their face. Now the new age drivers have the look of that famous photo of a woman with her hand holding her face in the great depression
12
Exactly
12
I swallowed the sinker but not the hook
12
What does everything come down to..? 5 $ on the street corner up an alley. Or 5000$ in a penthouse The 2 litre diesel engine is the best engine since sliced bread. The progress in electrical engine management and platinum filter plus exhaust recirculation etc have made it unbeatable. The purchase prices and running costs are likely to be under the control of the oil baron arabs.but is that any different to the electricity suppliers..? My electricity bill doubled this last 2 years of lies about putin. Until the hydro carbons run out or they discovered the first dilithium crystals mine were going to fly drive and sail on hydrocarbons
11
@salnaturile8653 Government knows. Government doesn't care. Government gets paid irrespective of the outcome. Government are merely grubby little people taking what they can while they can.
11
Still haven't seen a battery car on the paris to dakar rally
10
Oh.I forgot.the government makes billions and billions and billions on taxing the oilbased economy.WHAT..?. PRAY TELL WILL REPLACE THAT FINANCIAL INCOME..?
10
Ironic. Smelted snow to save a fish but toast the humans dwellings. They let the abundance of rain a few months ago to wash away the soil instead of building underground water tanks for gravity fed fire fighting
10
Don't agree with the horse bit.but the crooks are going to love crippled cops
10
My 2010 audi a3 diesel has done 250 000 miles just one clutch thing and 2 drive shafts
10
Never get an explanation of what comment offended. It's also intermittent..or shadow banning....just absolutely no likes or dislikes. It's mind control
10
I was looking for a new audi and they only make automatic transmission now. Ditto BMW and merc. So skoda or seat it is I love driving Myself
10
I've know this since ww2 U boats. Unless they shrank battery sizes by70 %and simultaneously tripled the power it was a step backwards
10
Id like to see a self driving car drive in Herefordshire in a rainstorm at night with potholes and oncoming drivers coming into your lane to avoid the potholes .especially on a corner and when livestock have escaped onto the road .AND have the wife in the backseat DRIVING
9
Volvo has a wood burner to generate for the forest machines.
9
Not many people know that musk didn't invent tesla cars.
9
Simply put a few stop sign across the road
9
Lotus is trolling this video with an EV advert
9
My 2010 diesel audi a3 can do 650 miles on 55 litre diesel. Its done 254000 miles and is still saving me money. The inside of the tail pipe is still shiny. Its a clean machine with recirculation and and platinum filters
9
Surely that Wimbledon bus does not comply with the clean air act
9
It's much easier to spell tesla ...ponzi
8
They dont care .they got kickbacks
8
Now i can dream of lottery win again
8
900 k dead Ukrainian soldier. .? They believed in hype
8
@keithage exactly. Remember the initial hook. Free charging... They dont even pay road tax .despite being much heavier. Trucks typically pay a thousand pounds road tax My small car is 35. Remember the subsidies. The age old adage of the adverts. Hook and squeeze.
8
Yup.the only thing thats sort of working economically on my roof is a 7000 grand water solar heater. We get 4 month max free hot water. Then it subsidises the heating process by 40 % for 3 months. But winter is full on grid. Now I'm just waiting for the maths of long term usage versus purchase price and maintenance versus just having paid for grid supply.
8
@Ulrich_von_Jungingen Yup.i once got 930miles on the open road at decent speeds .
8
Battery is good for phones and watches and vibrators
8
Musk should change his name to bernie madoff. Or elon made off with your money
8
It's like the british parliament. All followers of order from someone hiding in the shadows. Like the previous mass psychosis of the Mexican beer wink wink
7
After mass layoffs, Tesla asks again to approve Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package. The struggling EV carmaker is urging shareholders to vote again for the payout, which would be the largest ever awarded in corporate history, after a Delaware court nullified it in January.2 days ago
7
Imagine that you're running away from the cops And you have to wait for the cops to charge up their patrol car before they can begin the bullet CHASE SCENE like in the movie with the mustang and Steve mqueen. WE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY MOVIES
7
Battery weight is 750kg Diesel 2litr Mercedes-Benz is 200kg So even if you used the Diesel coupled to a electric generator which weighs 100 kg and put it in a tesla it would still be 300 kg lighter and you'd have the performance and range Sorted
7
One day the horse will be invented. One day a small powerful battery will be invented . Till that day I'm staying married to my hydrocarbon
7
Double down 3 times makes sixt
7
@blueridgestickshift Thanks
7
Have you seen the size of the foundation of a big wind turbine. ? It's humongous and tons of steel rods...all hidden underground
7
@RavenAutoPartsCo yeah it's frustrating. Because basically tube is a good slick platform. I have tried rumble but it's so glitch. As so as my comments are pertinent and informative the Google algorithmic cuts it. I try not to be nasty or evil but authority hates dissent or independent people. They're one way merchants... Look and obey ....
6
Yup.practically
6
My old Samsung galaxy was getting hot.found the quick way to cool it was to" iron" a cotton sheet.with the phone.the cotton sucks the heat out very quickly. This stops you forgetting it in the freezer
6
Wool wood firestarters pah..! I use lithium battery packs
6
A diesel engine is typically 200kg The tesla y model battery weight is 750 kg. Do you have money for extra tyres and suspension. All the roads potholes are driven on by all car's tyre's and suspension. The ice cars do slighly better and and are slightly cheaper and much easier to repair or replace.
6
Sellafield is the first uk nuke power station. Its still costing clean up fees.
