Trump claimed 4% ... ridiculous. Maybe he projected about his own popularity there.

Along with the new Sanctions the US increased yesterday the US released classified investigation results about the 2020 and 2016 election and what really happened. I would invite people to have a look and make your own thoughts when hearing this and than hearing Alex Salmond. And then compare how Trump reacted to Russia and Putin and how Salmond reacts to Russia and Putin. And than tell me, there is no connection.

Not a topic anymore. And Tories and guys like you are really mad about having lost this lever.

Europe has far more nuances than simply left and right. Only simple minds try to divide reality in two options.

Your number are vastly exaggerted and even underestimated on british strength. You are clearly trying to manipulate here. Besides Britain will not be alone.

Question what was this thing with Caterpillar Cake and the Metal Detector at the Airport? Don't tell me they found heavy-metal in the cake and that's why the detector was going off.

Spoiler: Someone starting with "I am xyz but ..." raises trolling/lying chances by 98%.

Self-regulation in market economy and capitalism only happens when there are >serious< consequences for some actions. Without it or weak consequences all is just priced in to ignore it.

This phone is the perfect single point of failure to not only get Johnson into trouble but all of the last 2 and current governments. They all given their "official" phones to inquiries but maybe not all inofficial ones. But Johnson hasn't he was so arrogant thinking it can never happen to him that he only used this one phone. And it's content is able to end their careers and potentially even bring them to prison for hiding material, lying to the inquiry under oath AND for what the content of messages of which Johnson has the receiving end of has.

Is Trump really expecting that people who live on paycheck to paycheck (60%) who suddenly realize that money runs out earlier than before will believe any excuse coming over Fox News or Trump himself?
2
Bullies bow only down to larger bullies. And Trump thinks he found one and admires him and want to be like him. I'm pretty sure Trump is not aware how he is being manipulated. What I heard in the last days him talking about Ukraine sounded 1:1 what Putin would say. It's as if Trump is repeating what he heard 5 min earlier on a phonecall.

I'm watching American politics quite intensily over the last 12 months. The US is highly disunited. It resembles the EU more than it resembles for example Germany with it's states and also a Federal Republic. I was surprised how loosely coupled American law is between each states and the federal government and how all states do whatever they want because there is no federal law for most things setting it for everything. In that regard the EU is even further integrated than the United States. But the EU being a real state or even a closely integrated and aligned Federal state like Germany ... noone wants this and it's not really required either: Unity to the outside, diversity to the inside. that's the way to go.
2
Nothing is stopped. Gaza is a planned invasion by Trump not peace. And Ukraine is a surrender by Trump to Putin. Trump is a coward. He also surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban. This is all what Trump can do. Surrender. Like he is surrendering America to the billionaires right now.
2
And there is more: It's estimated that 40% of the Labour voters in Scotland are pro independence as well but they don't like the SNP very much. And I could even think that even amongst Tory voters in Scotland are pro independence people. It doesn't really matter which party has how much. The current goal is to get a referendum not to get independence. This latter question will be decided in the referendum on a 1 person = 1 vote basis. No constituancies not First Pass the Post no Gerrymandering just a straight up vote. And even if people vote for "Yes". It's only a mandate to prepare the Independence which will take a huge huge effort to make it a reality. So expect years of this. Maybe the last chance for Labour England to prevent it by convincing Scotland from another way. If I would be Starmer I would immediatly jump on the "We want to keep the UK together by fundamental change" bandwagon because the only thing the Tories can offer is keeping Scotland in the fold by suppression.

According to Dietrich Bonhoeffers Theory of Stupidity there is nothing you can do about it. If you try to intervene you become part of the conspiracy. I think there is a way but you have to be supercareful. What applies here is I think cult-logic. Cult-members can only pull themselves out of it noone outside can. And they doing that only when witnessing or experiencing reality contrary to the cult or what the cult-leader is saying. When doubt is setting in which is why all cults fight doubt and contrary information to the bones and try to isolate people from different information sources.

What is it you want to say you think you cannot say right now?

@ The biggest "non-adversary" country. Feeling better now?
2
Because 1.5 mio people hearing it every day you little plum. And do you really think an establishment-propaganda machine would allow people like James O'Brien or Sheila Fogerty speak their mind on the program? You know what is really establishment-propaganda? British Newspapers besides the Fiancial Times and the Guardian. All others are own and/or controlled by Tory donors and the British Oligarchy aka "Establishment" or even the "American Oligarchy" I'm not even sure there is a difference anymore.
2
Because of people like you.

We have to do something about misinformation and disinformation. And quickly. This war is happening since 2012 and we losing it because we don't recognize it's a war. And it's lead by Putin, China and some billionaires. We cannot progress because we are sabotaged from the inside by people like this caller who have no defense against it and are practically volunteering for brainwashing.
2
Not many people know that Dominique Cummings already began to do what is happening in America in 2020 under Boris Johnson. He began to replace the Civil Service personel against Pro-Brexit sychophants. The project was interrupted because of a political fallout with Johnson, Johnsons scandals and the appearance of Covid.
2
And yet not NATO invaded but Russia. And NATO is an invasion insurance. Why do you think would countries living next to Putin have some kind of invasion insurance? Ukraine is the best example why.
2
What we need is the same rule heros are under: With great power comes great responsibility. Translated to our media environment: The more followship you have the more responsibility you must have in what and how you say it. But there is no enforcement system. No consequences. There were on Twitter as the bans on Trump and MTG have proven but these are gone now. So has the ones of Facebook. When a comment section jockey writes a lie it has barly real impact but when someone followed by tens of millions things are different. When a person of public significance says something it is important what and how you say it.
2
60% of all NATO is in Europe ... we can manage. Especially against a severly injured Putin. He is not only about to lose Ukraine but also Russia.
2
peter coleman You losing your home is down to your and potentially your landlord or lender. And you losing your own job is down to you or your boss. You need to learn to look up and potentially you not down, not to the side when you look for the source of your problems.
2
So asking people "do you really want to do that now" is not democratic? Grow up!

What a coincidence in Germany the FDP the neoliberals who trashed the coalition and forced a snap-election suggesting the very same this weekend. The German investigative media magazin Monitor uncovered an international lobby consortium called the atlas foundation which has ties to all these places. To the Trump, the Heritage Foundation and GOP in America, to Mileau in Argentinia, to Farage/Theis in Britain, to the FDP in Germany and much more right-leaning and neoliberal lobbyist firms across the planet.

Yes sure. He was an international bussinessman until Putin arrested, tor-ch-u=red and k1ll-3d his accountant/lawyer and best friend in Russia.

Jury-duty. He told today at the beginning of the show.

@FattyOn2Wheels Come on. You know every well, that some of those scenarios were for No-Deal. But now there is a Tarriff-Free Trade-Deal a so called Free Trade Deal. Not quite as unfettered as you might have hoped but this happens when you deny reality. On the other hand the predictions all happened with varying degrees of impact. Food/Goods shortages and higher prices (see supermarkets), Petrol Shortages/Higher prices see last months, Energy issues and prices see last weeks and now, Water Treatment see last week, Worker Shortages in all sectors, problem with fishing, problems with farming, problems with healthcare, the list goes on and on. I'm actually surprised how much has happened already ... and Brexit is not even fully unfolded the best is yet to come a lot of things are still in transition or grace periods.

40t of asteroids every day? I knew there are but not that it's this much.

Trump 2.0 is Americas Brexit

Common sense is only working in an environment of truth. In an environment of misinformation it can have disastrous and even the oppossit effects. Besides what is common sense for them: Believing what they like and don't believe what they don't like. The perfect recipe to collide with reality.

He has found almost nothing so far. They checked the things he bragged about. All fake.

@ If you look for corruption in America you look at the wrong place. 90% of the corruption is happening in campaigning financing because bribes were made legal but only by donating to the political campaigns. So corporations and billionaires donate to politicians but they want this money back somehow. So the politicans are giving them tax breaks, or government contracts, or policies which makes the donor richer somehow. And the politicans using this money to spend in the campaign and for political ads to get re-elected. Or they spend it in a way that it ends up in their own pockets. Like Trump making security, campaign and/or world leaders resting in his own hotels so the money goes to his pockets. Or overcharging his own campaign/super packs so campaign money is converted to private income.
2
Simple: Tax the Rich. Tax those who have the money.
2
@ My point is it is not a clear mandate nor a big majority. And the polls you mention asking Trump voters not everyone.
2
James O'Brien should have come over from the other room for a surprise visit.
2
Suggestion: Leave politics at home. Visit him, congratulate him, praise him, talk about the weather, bring an expensive and very british gift he feels is a trophy. And promise him a personal reward of 100 mio pounds when Ukraine wins the war and gets the whole territory back. I know not very ... clean ... but the best result for the least effort.
2
Affadavits are not evidence. Everyone can make one. I can even make one about you being a liar. See there it is.
2
Trump also seems to build up a liking to Starmers accent as he stated later. However he also liked Macrons French accent at the beginning of the week.
2
As an invasion insurance.
2
If the French government really wanted that they would not fill all available passport booths but instead just one. They are allowed to do that, in fact America did that on their airports. One for the foreigners 9 for domestic.
2
How so?
2
In the absence of trust or knowledge ... people believe what they like ... and don't believe what they don't like. Disastrous way of thinking because reality has the unfortunate tendency to be something you don't like.
2
@BigBoss-ti1wo "Woke" also comes from "Political awake" something Conservatives really dispises because ignorance and indifference about politics and policy is working in their favor. The last thing they want is to being watched about what they doing but people like Trump woke everyone up from the slumber and now it's working against them.
