  7. Just because you will never have any kids doesn't mean single parents on 15$ minimum wage do not desperatly need help so they can work while their kids are in daycare. And without the danger that their kids end up in the same miserable jobs as they must do because of lack of education. Child-Care and Education is an investment of society. Yes there will be some were the money might be wasted but there will also be tons of opportunities. Opportunities which are being missed right now because good kids don't get an opportunity. Every freebee holds the risk of wasting money yes, but for every bad apple there are 2 or more missed opportunities. And when just one kid with 15$ minimum wage parents grow up to be a 400,000$ per year earner ... the costs are more than covered.

  9.  @kmoses582  Actually the current heatwaves and flood comes from this problem. 1) The artic warms up stronger than the equator leading to less temperature difference. 2) Less temperature difference leading to weaker jetstream. 3) Weaker Jetstream leads to air being less "mixed" and "moved around" leading to stronger and longer heat and drout and stronger and longer rainfalls and stronger and longer periods of cold.

  10.  @kmoses582  We never had these strong heatwaves and never these strong floods. We breaking records each year for years. UK broken temperature records the first time in 200 years since they started recording. Europe has a record drout for months and reached record temperatures only seen in the Sahara. Did exceptional weather happend in the past? Yes sure. But never this strong, nerver this long and never this frequent. The climate is definitily messed up. EDIT: And the worst is: This is just the beginning. Even if we manage to stop emissions of CO2 (everything which burns) and Methan (animal husbandry) today the heating of the oceans (the engine for our weather) will continue for another decade ... and we not even close to ending emissions.

  24. Do you know that the resistence and protection to Corona by vaccine takes up to 10 weeks to take full effect? You are not suddenly immune by taking the jab. And worse you can still carry and transmit the virus and unvaccinated people can get the same way ill as you without the vaccine. You are better protected and you most likly not get seriously ill if at all, but you can still infect others for a while. And to make matter worse. The more dangerous Corona variation from the UK B1.1.7 is starting to spread in the US. Why do think Europe is fighting with rising numbers in the last 6 weeks.

Either this is true and Cumo should resign - or - this is an attempt by Republicans to stop Cumo getting re-elected as major of New York this year I would make dawn sure the accusations are correct and laws have been broken. I would also check the accusers financially if they have been payed to talk by Republicans. The major is elected this year. Cumos reputation is damaged or even destroyed if the accusation are correct or not. But if it turns out this was an clandestine attempt to discredit Cumo for the next elections as Major I would put all involved before court and potentially in prison for lying and false accusation and ruining the reputation or a political adversary. If it turns out to be valid and true and the accusers are not payed by Republicans to talk I of course am for holding Cumo responsible for all wrongdoings and put on trial if any laws have been broken. I would like to remark at this point that London is also having a Major-election this year. And like New York the major Siddig Khan is a so called "Lefty" a social democrat and even child of immigrants. And Mr. Khan the London Major is currently also attacked by all means even by the prime minister of the UK himself to somehow prevent they are re-elected.

China is putting billions of dollars every year in social media campaigning even the army has it's own section for Soft Power acting in social media and comments like this one in order to "improve" opinion on China.
