  15. Suggestion: Offer Trump a pardon if he concedes and allows a smooth transition with full cooperation. If he denies place the full weight of the judiciary on him. Trump is a bussiness man he will take it because the alternative would be far worse for him. And although he might be actually the first president to deserve to see a prison cell from the inside I doubt America would be willing to do that to a former president so make it easier for him to decide to let loose and go.

The danger of trying to deplattform Trump and ignore the lies is that the lies manifest because noone is challenging them. This leads to a very devious form of manipulation called Confirmation Bias which is very dominant amongst Trump-supporters. Confirmation Bias is when you hear the same lie from multiple sources and/or often enough. At some point you believe it yourself because noone is challenging it. And because most people are too lazy to fact-check statements for truth or simply don't know how or don't trust outside source enough. People have nowhere to turn to find challenges to this. And it's worse: You surely heared the statements "never trust MSM", "CNN is always lying", and so on. This is an attempt of Trump-supporter to prevent others from hearing the truth or at least challenges to statements who could make people think twice and check further. People only get to hear one version and since there is nothing else and no challenges ... have no other choice than to believe it.

And not the newest catch phrases of Fox people recite without knowing what they mean or which do no contain any meaning at all. Real substantive arguments AND an alternative solution because just denying everything is not an option. And my next question is: Why continue and repeat what did not work in the last 75 years? Is it not time to try something new instead of repeating old mistakes which ultimativly lead to Trump in the end? Have they not considered that they just repeating history if there is not clearly a fundamental change in policy.

  23. I disagree. Illiteracy is bad but not the problem. The problem is the lack of Truth in media. Even someone not able to read can make acceptable decissions when confronted with the Truth, the Truth and nothing but the Truth. Critical Thinking is needed when there are lies around to find and see them. You don't need to read to be able for Critical Thinking. But in the end I fully agree on you that not being able to read is terrible.

Question: Why are laws across Democracies of the world passed by simple majorities by one parliament (house) voted by the people and why does the US need two houses and the 2nd house is completly able to stop what the first house voted on. And worse: The 2nd house is unfairly represented by society. Mini-States like Rohde-Island have the same weight on votes as states with 100x or even 1000x times more people. Isn't that dictatorship by minority? The hole system need an overhaul. 1) Get rid of the 2nd house, it's good for nothing but delaying and blocking and costs a ton of money 2) Change to Proportional Voting Point 2 allows to introduce a multi-party system in the US, gets rid of the Gerrymandering and forces a lawmaking based on consensus creating far more stable legislation and stable governments. And it ensure that every vote has the same weight and that Parliament looks exactly like people have voted.

We want to travel again, go to holidays, visit the world again ... without masks, tests, certificates, worries or whatever. So that we can buy in the supermarket again without social distancing and wearing masks.
