A 5$ discount ladder is able to overcome it. So fence or no fence it makes no difference. And you need border patrol as it was the last 40 years.

  10.  @bkit5  I doubt it. But you can buy them in Mexico. It happened multiple times. Border control removes them if they find them, but a lot of them are just left at the fence after usage. Others even build their own ladders with scrap, wood and trash laying around there. And my point is not really how many ladders are there or much they cost but that 25,000,000$ per mile are wasted an defeated by just 15$ or less just showing how ridiculous the hole thing is.

You take the total budget the "wall" got so far (= the costs so far) and divide it through the number of miles being build so far. And this number per mile comes out. (Fact 1) And a ladder. Well I'm sure you know how much a ladder costs. (Fact 2) Fact 3: Border patrol finds ladder all the time and need to remove them or others can use it for free.

  13. @Joe Coverstone Sad you still missed the point! My point is there are patrols and they will continue with patrols. But the Wall was a super-waste of money and didn't help at all. It only costed billions. The money could have been used to fix the roads and bridges. Or improve the schools or whatever. Instead some construction firms probabyl friends of Trump earned a fortune for a total senseless building project.

  15. Germany is the main forward-base for operations in Europe, West-Asia and the Middle-East and NATO base as well. It has hospitals for complex treatments so military-personel not die on the long way back to the states. Germany is not paying the US for protection here. Germany allows large areas to be used by the US including air-fields for bulk-transportation. The thing Trump mentioned was that Germany is slightly below the minimum-spending on military based on GPD. But even if Germany would spend more, the money would not be going to the US. NATO operates under the idea that every member spends 2% of it's GDP on miliary to ensure NATOs defense capabilities. And for your information Germany increased spending by 3.2% last year to a total of 63,8 bn $. That is 15 bn $ more than the United Kingdom.

  39. If you allow Republicans to take away the right to decide over your own body (and this is what Roe vs. Wade is really about) ... then they can take away all freedoms not just this one. Have you ever considered that now that Roe vs. Wade is overturned by Republican judges in SCOTUS the government could force you to take Covid vaccines because the protection to decide over your own body is gone with it.
