Not just Denmark. Brits and Germans are angry at Trumps Co-President Musk. Even Italys right-wing government has some harsh tones towards Trump. France is pretty angry and planning military strategies already.

If I would be a judge. I would sentence them to work 14 days as nurses on a Covid station to make them see what Covid is and what it does.

The Progressive Democrats are a larger threat to Corporate Democrats than their Corporate Republican brothers. Progressive Democrats do not accept corporate bribe money and therefore can do what people need and want not what corporations and superwealthy want. On top: The Progressive Democrats actually want to drain the swamp while the Corporates feel so warm and fuzzy sitting in it.

Without immigration the problems in the US would be much worse. It's quite simple and quite reasonable: There is something called demographics. To maintain a population you need 2.1 children per family. And America as most other rich nations is well below it. People cannot afford kids anymore and the greed, wealth and income inequality made it hard for couples to have kids without proper housing, proper money, proper healthcare, proper childcare, proper education. Immigration provides workforce without the growing up phase, the education phase. Immigrants are often young and able to put to work immediatly doing the jobs Americans prefer not to do anymore. Society would fall apart without this influx.

Watch any Karen-video out there. The moment Karen's feel losing or being cornered they getting aggressive. Now Karen's are the prelude to what comes next just more extreme and more violent. Jan-06 was a teaser for that.

Why don't you have a look at Germany. Germanys democracy was heavily influenced by the american democracy as one of the victors of the 2nd world war. However the Germans not just copied the American constitution they incorporated the experiences made during the Weimar Republic (Germanys first version of a democracy) and how Hitler was able to get into power. So they made an improved version which covered a lot of "bad experiences" made by the power grab of Hitler and mistakes which were made in Germany's 1st democracy. Germany has a very strict seperation of powers and numerous unchangable laws which protects the democracy and the constitution from changes andd prevent powergrabs. This includes a high-court like the Supreme Court who watches as the 3rd power over what executive and legislislative are doing. It also ensures nothing can be totally centralized by watching over federalism as well. It also ensures the base rights formulated in the constitution are not improperly changed or even abolished and protects human rights. However the Bundesverfassungsgericht (that it's name roughly translated the "federal constitutional court") is not political. It remains strictly a legal watchdog and it does not involve itself in the legislation as the supreme court does unless legislation infringes on the constitutional rights or human rights. It proved to be very useful and necesarry and overall relative robust but above all it's not politicised quite the contrary every politican tries to avoid situations which makes the involvement of this court necesarry because it complicates things. So law-making tends to be within the confines of the constitution and never be so extreme that it allows grounds of involving this court. ... As it should be. Intresting side-remark. Germany also removed the election of the leader of government (the chancelor) to be directly voted by the population. The parliament is voting on the chancelor. The people just vote the parliament. It prevents that leaders can fool the population by charm or personality or by lies because members of parliaments vote and they can detect lies a little earlier than normal people usually. It's another protection made in view of the Weimar Republic and Hitler.

She perfectly desribed the symptoms of Covid. In so far you are right: The simplest explanation is (as so often) the most likly one. And I will never understand why some people think "reality cannot be this boring" and need a conspiracy theory to explain things.
17
I think encumbency should not be a factor. Even encumbents should justify their actions and reassert their position by going through the full primary and letting the voters decide. If the framers would wanted presidencies to last 8 instead of 4 years they would have written it in the constitution. Now the DNC leaves you no say of the matter. It's Biden or Trump and this feels like blackmail.
17
You want to make a statement about tomorrow? Raise the American flag upside down.
16
Try treating those people like kids. Polite, friendly, caring and patronising. It works astonishingly well for some reason. It's almost as they seek guidance and leadership but the problem is they put their trust in manipulative hate-sources like Fox.
15
Fox: Tells you what you want to hear. Not what you need to know.
15
They are afraid of being canceled - That's why they try to paint it as a bad thing and apply it to ridiculous things. I actually adopted the term and idea and now whenever I see something or someone bad I only say "I/We need to cancel him/her/them"
15
Can someone please give us justice. Karma where are you in regards to Donald Trump?
15
He probably filed a copyright infringement already.
14
The more they lie and the more ridiculous the lies become the sooner people will realize that they lie and/or finally have enough of it being Republicans or not. PEOPLE DON'T LIKE BEING LIED TO.
14
For me two red flags exists to identify if I am in a cultish group or not: 1) Lack of scrutiny Can you criticise / post objective critique about the group itself, it's leader and/or it's decissions. If no you are in a cult. 2) Lack of Truth / Logic / Reason Are the group members activly beeing lied to. And can you freely talk about those lies or are you suppressed for even trying. If you are suppressed or bullied for it you are in a cult.
13
I would recommend to retire from politics and start his own nightly talkshow.
13
And America never had a president with owned property in Moscow and China and larger sums of debt.
13
What America really needs is more flavors than just 2 parties. America needs a true multi-party system. I mean if you go to a fastfood restaurant you also not just choose between breakfast and dinner. But the system needs to be slightly changed to make this viable.
13
Right-wing voters should seriously sit down and think what they actually want in life because "owning the libs" isn't helping on that. Your wish to hurt the other side is making your goal even less likely because the side you have to support for that has terrible policies.
12
What does it matter [for us] how many followers David has? Only his content is important [for me]. Having followers/subscribers does not mean people agree with the content-creator they just want to be informed when new content is available. So why complain about it and allege bots? Is that envy?
12
@zogar8526 Why do you accept anti-democratic practises just because they have become a tradition?
12
What they show is "cognitive dissonance" It's when people have contradicting stuff in their heads and cannot make heads or tails out of it anymore. It's like a rupture in reality and brains have a hard time dealing with this.
12
That's a joke right? I mean this like god testing if Donald done his homeworks this time and learned something.
12
Fox-News are millionairs paid by billionaires to ensure the masses have the "right" opinion based on false or missing facts.
12
I think YouGov should have ask differently like "Do you want a Civil War?". I'm pretty sure a lot of people on the sane-side only said "yes" to the poll because they think the others wants a Civil War. Another question I would love to hear about: "Would you personally fight in a Civil War?".
11
I just seen a video about the Theory of Stupidity. And it's scary how close the definition comes to reality in America.
11
He is also the Commander in Cheat ... that's why he is not used to being one himself. EDIT: BTW "Commander in Cheat" is the name of a book describing how Donald Trump is playing Golf. If you read that you understand how he usually makes sure he is winning and how desperate he needs it.
11
Reagan-omics had more than 40 years to show it's working. It's not! ... Time for something new.
11
Have you not heared? They have visited just this week. Today in Bidens Press Briefings Journalists being there actually ask questions about it. On another more human note: Imagine you are sitting in those facilities. Do you really want to be filmed by national TV? Watched like animals in a zoo just with a mobile phone or even camera?
11
Maybe brocken clocks are right twice a day but in 99.861% of the time they are wrong.
11
Interesting little side-information: BioNTech the german company actually doing the science was co-founded by scientists who are children of turkish immigrants and an austrian cancer expert. Once more prove that people should not be judged by their origin or race.
11
He got away again. This guy never faces consequences. Rule of Law in America? Where is it?
11
Not sure about federal workers but on private companies there was always anther angle to this. Rich people own office buildings and lease them to companies for top dollars. Companies needs office space for their workers. However home office means you need less office space or none at all. So the establishment is actually not that happy about home offices. And there is more to it. Restaurants and Bars in the city for lunch and dinner after office, Ueber and Lift losing potential customers. There is a lot of profit tied to you going to the office.
10
The right is about choice? Like a woman's right to choose over her own body?
10
@ItsGulfofMexicoDump For? What is the crime?
10
Ever heard about the "Sunk-Cost-Fallacy" the more you invested into something the more you are willing to invest more and do everything to ensure it's success. And people invested a lot into Trump. Not just elections and donations but also friendships, relationships, partnerships and even family over a decade. It will be very hard to let go and accept falling for the con.
10
@davehallett810 Yes ... for possession of mariuhana. Not criminals.
10
Sure there are. But Trump more and more ignores them. And ignores the justice system who still enforcing them. You have to seperate between the different roles here. The judiciary with their courts, judges, supreme court and the executive with the DOJ, FBI, Marshal service and the white house.
10
He is not attacked for advocating to use paper ballot. I can even support this idea personally. He is for being obsessed about proving a lie and being obsessed about getting confirmation for something he already believes. And being close minded and stubborn about any reasonable counter argument.
10
Germany mandates everyone to have a personal-ID from the age of 16 or higher. It's the basis of your national (and now also EU-) identity and work even as a passport in the EU. If you not have enough money to pay for it you are being supported. And it's used for everything else requiring ID from opening bank accounts to unlocking mobile phones even your drivers license is deriving from this. With this you are auto-registered for voting. No extra registration, no extra costs, no extra paperwork, no extra IDs. You get the voting-papers right send at home with the option to request mail-in ballots if you want to. It's easy, simple, equal for all and fair and it doesn't discriminate (besides people who live illegal in the country and have therefore no ID but which makes them easy to spot as well).

Solar- and Wind are currently the cheapest form of energy. Cheaper even than Nuclear. Why don't we use it more? It makes sense ecological and economical. I also think we need a mixed approach since Solar and Wind are still fluctuating with weather. So I don't say never use nuclear, but don't treat it as the only answer.
10
I'm afraid not. This would mean admitting to have been conned. This is hard for everyone but especially for people who live in denial about Trump for 10 years.
9
I think the true source are economical and financial problems in society. Leading to anxiety, fear, hate, potential existential fear. This makes it easier to make more anger and direct the anger to wherever an whoever media wants to. And for that you need to lie and as it so happens the Truth is treated badly in media.
9
The right is about choice? They constantly trying to make voting harder and in favor of the GOP. Not really looking like giving you a choice or making it easier to choose. And their favorite model is for you to not have a choice at all. About the candidates to choose from, the party, your religion, your speech/opinions, about what you read, what gender you have, what schools you can go to. The list goes on an on.
9
Williamsen has 14% more than most of the Republican primary challengers. And even Cenk Uygur managed to get more than some strange Governors who run in the Republican primary at the beginning.
9
@whyamimrpink78 I'm afraid you have a lot to learn about critical thinking and the difference between facts/informations and opinions. You may get two different opinions, but not different sets of facts. There is only one set of facts we call it reality otherwise known as the Truth. All other are lies (intentional) or misinformations (unintentional).
9
And admitting to not know is okay as well.
9
That's why the US Democracy should not used as a role model. It has way too much flaws being 200 years old and especially the last years show more and more it's weaknesses. And there are way to much similarities to the mother of all Democracies Britain. And oh wonder, Britain has similar problems as the US. Have a look at Germany, it's also Federal and it's their 3rd Democracy already and it was made Fascism-proof after the last guy 70 years ago.
9
Gas Prices - Maybe you should give some examples about foreign gas prices to give a perspective how distorted US prices actually are on this. It's ridiculously cheap in the US ... no wonder noone wants to talk about climate change when it's so cheap to make the problem worse.
