You could also argue it removes all filters and limits we put on ourselves about what we think.

3 years is a long time in politics ... a very long time
2
I find it insulting to expect me to think Biden is fit to serve for another 4 years. Compare 2012 with 2020 and 2024 the difference is devestating.
2
@truth4004 And you deny reality out of fear about Trump and allow this emotion to control your better judgement.
2
"Trump back in office" in august ... yeah right. An office in state penitentiary maybe as things are developing.
2
Well the Republicans can start working for the wide public again instead of their wealthy donors. Win by police again as it was before the 80'ties. More people happy means more people voting them fair and square and exactly like Democrats. It's not that Democrats had all the time an advantage. Democrats always fought an uphill battle against Republicans on the Hill (litterally).
2
For some reason Star Wars IX comes to mind: "Hello? I want to talk to General Hux. .... Hux? .... Okay I wait."
2
Trade Wars have no winners only losers. Because the moment you begin them you volunteer to economically damage yourself.
2
David talked so much about this topic it has become boring. Hunter was bad. Trial him. Convict him. Punish him. As it should be. But you better have solid evidence about any criminality about Joe Biden and there isn't just any. They looking for 4 years now and the evidence is always "on the horizon". Without it it is a political witchhunt against Joe Biden. And might I remind you. Even if there is. And it is solid evidence. And it is enough for an impeachment. And it goes through the Senate somehow. You only making Kamala Harris the first female president of the United States.
2
Some maybe because we have still some compassion left for those people who just want to build a new life in America. Your heart is stone cold. There is only a growing empty hole which is consuming you slowly.
2
Fair enough: But would you also vote for another Democrat? Does it have to be Biden and noone else?
2
Biden as well. He is as much against illegal immigration as you are. And he is not opening any gates as the Republicans are saying. The basic procedure at the border has not changed from Trump to Biden since Biden is only 6 weeks in. He changed a couple orders from Trump by executive order but the hole system from Trump is still in place and need Congress to be changed or the Supreme Court can overturn it any time.
2
Owning property in Russia would you immediatly get the label "Commie" or "Rusky" or even "Spy/Traitor" in times of McCarthy.
2
Ask her how much money she gets for this. Apparently Morality is at an all time low.
2
Imagine if Soros had made an independent super-department under Biden and broken into the US treasury and IRS like Musk has. Shutdown government programs, fire 30,000 federal workers and vets and threaten to cut or end social security, medicare and medicaid. The right-wing would go amok by now good that the left is much more tempered and reasonable.
2
Come on. They were 20 years (over 235 months) there. What difference does 4 months make? You got what you wanted. At the beginning of this week you ranted that Biden will never bring them back. And now that he does you still not satisfied?!
2
Have you noticed that noone from the right is mentioning this decission was unanimous. The judge even ask everyone individually in front of the camera. If anyone of them would have had objections they had a chance to say otherwise.
2
He probably is not a single-parent having to grow up a child alone. And never needs to work as blue-collar worker somewhere he just sits at home or office once in a while.
2
In the absence of truth or trust only reality can change people's mind. And it will but it will also cause a lot of avoidable suffering. I hate that about humanity. That we always wait until the very last moment one step away from the abyss before we find our better selves and change our mind. And often enough it is too late even for that.
2
I guess not having personal property in the country you talking with is helping with that.
2
Even that is a defense of the lies ... or better a defense against admitting to be wrong.
2
I'm not supporting this idea. It's shortsighted and ignorant. But to be fair: Ask the Indians. No wonder they think that. THEY DONE IT TO THEM. I don't know what this is. Maybe fear of history repeating itself?
2
We will apologize of course if we were wrong. Can you say the same?
2
I hope it's enough to end private gun ownership in the United States. It caused enough problems in the last 200 years.
2
No need for larger debt making. Just tax the upper 5% like the other 95%. It cannot be that a billionaire only pays 7% income tax while everyone else pays more than twice as much.
2
Same is true for the guest who apparently not done it either.
2
At least Trump is robbing the morons who still trust him. I pitty them but I also not lose any tears over it. We tried to warn them for years they wouldn't listen. I can only hope the next 4 years of living in Trumps America will change their mind about him.
2
David is absolute correct: Under Biden America drilled more oil than ever in American history and more oil than any other country on the planet. That's not opinion, just counting. So do you feel "energy independent" already? Because if not the problem must be something else.
2
@pickledellies That's rubbish. You vote a party not because they are left or right you vote them for their policies. If a right-wing would make sensible policies I had no problems voting them. And I also have no hesitency to not vote left when they mess things up. If you blindly vote because you "feel" you are "ideological" more inclined to them you make yourself hostage to them. That's wrong in so many ways. Vote by policy, not by ideology.
2
I'm sure you are. But I hope it never comes to this. It would mean Civil War. And Violence is indiscriminative: Sometimes it hurts your enemies and sometimes it hurts your friends and family.
2
Lying about vaccines should be banned. Either directly by the person itself or even by transmitting the lie, e.g. by a guest or repeating the lie.
2
Declaring Greene a toxic user is an understatement. Perma-ban!
2
Before you know it, they will suggest to burn books to solve cancel culture. And you know where it will go from there. See 1933.
2
Oh lovely she brings up the blackmail which is running in the background and we all avoid to talk about: Vote Biden ... or otherwise. What Do you think voters feel who are forced to vote Biden? Don't you think some of them say eff you and vote the other guy in protest?
2
The only way to get back to the 50's is to vote Progressive from now on. What America ripped apart since the 70's are drugs and the worse and worse income inquality especially starting in the 80's and reaching it's high this and last year actually. America is of all countries on this planet the worst regarding Income Inequality. Twice as bad as the UK, 4 times as Central Europe and 8 times as Scandinavia. Result: The richest and poorest people in all western countries live in the same country, state and even region sometimes only a couple blocks apart.
2
Not quite. Europe is peaking currently that's why most of the countries there are in their 2nd or 3rd lockdown now or a lightweight variation of it. You must keep in mind it takes 2 weeks before a lockdown begins to affect the numbers. However if this continues unhinged in the US the situation will get out of control and the hospital begin to get overwhelmed to breaking point. That's when also people not having Corona starts to die because they don't get their treatments or emergency operations any longer.
2
The EU actually doing pretty well on the manufacturing import/export thing. Maybe a good case study what America can make better to bring manufacturing back. Their comprehrensive free trade deals demand to adhere to Single Market rules regarding product quality, worker protections, fair wages, environmental standards (now also climate gas emission limits), rules of origins, and soon also fair taxation in the country of origin. This is called the "Brussels effect" the EU is practically making the world better by requiring same rules when you want access to the richest and largest market on the planet. This diminishes the cost-advantage you have by manufacturing in a low-regulation/low-wage country to the point that companies consider moving the manufacturing back into the EU because it is cost-wise almost equal but you have less paperwork and lower transport costs and modern infrastructure. It's like an encouragement to invest in the EU by creating a level playingfield. It's also the reason why there is no Free Trade Deal between the EU and America, because America is not willing to introduce these EU standards / minimum regulations. And it would ruin the "buy cheap somewhere else" model.
2
Hi loser. Only Trump and the 1% win here.
2
Biden was old and slow granted and he should not have run in 2020 but not dement and certainly not insane.
2
Solution? I don't want a stubborn "Do as I say" nor an annointment. I want a small piece of democracy left in this primary by an open convention. And if Biden thinks he still has a chance he can make his point there too. I want the convention to allow challengers to make their case, I want the convention to vote a nominee for the good of the country (not party or donors) and I want unity at the end and focus on Trump.
2
@nostrum6410 Trump instead declared war within the country against Americans. And next time inform yourself better who and why Biden is actually allowing Air-Strikes. He is defending American Troops. Do you want to tell me you are against them defending themselves?
2
Fox often have different opinion and everyone can have one, but allowing someone on the show and clearly directly plainly lying, e.g. HR1 is the "For-The-Politicians"-act not the "For-The-People"-act without any corrections is not okay. And this was the just smallest lie here. Fox of course swears it's innocence because it was not them who told the lie but a guest. But they didn't correct it and allow it to air unhinged. This should be suppressed by a court. 2nd degree lying or something. They now used this tricks a couple of times to avoid a court case.
2
@laurab7215 Most of his viewers trust him implicitly. They take everyone what he says for true without checking it or even apply a healthy amount of mistrust.
2
And who says there cannot be someone better.
2
Collusion of politicians with members of the Russian Oligarchy are not new. The UK released a part of it's own issues between UK politicians and officials and Russia a year ago. A report the current Primeminister Johnson like Trump with the Mueller-Report tried to block and burry twice but due to a little trick by very clever people who place country before career was released anyway. The public unredacted version of this report is only mentioning one person explicit name "Aaron Banks" who is I'm sure not completly unknown in the US. The other names are in the unrelease part of the report which is still classified.
2
They are so predictable corrupt.
2
... or decent, mannered, honest, empathic, informed, critical, fair.
2
Is it possible he mixed up Progressives and Magas?
2
There are a lot of people among those 59% who cannot even write "Election" without spelling mistakes. So I prefer the other 41% to a degree. Stop evaluating people after their color evaluate each one individually. And there are much more decent and hard working people than in the 59%.
2
The technical term for the debate thing is "false equivalence". In simpler terms it is "balance gone wrong" and is used to introduce a wild theory to give it more plattform. If 999 scientists say yes and 1 says no there cannot be a balance at 50%. It helps a wild outliar to appear as equal and valid when it should be dropped.
