I'm in the rare position to be a white dude who has had experiences like this, 1 because of my politics, and 2 because I lived for a time in a country where my race was the suspected 'other'. And just those instances has placed a deep seated distrust and dislike for anyone in military or police uniform. They are all only there to maintain an authoritarian society, and in times like this they feel free to act with impunity. But in truth, they are always like this, in every country in the world.

I was out that protest in Bristol, and the use of dogs and horses by the violent police riot was one of the most distressing things of a distressing night. So when we saw this it gave us great delight... that dog knew who the baddie was, even if the media doesn't.
