There was someone down the road who had a BLM sign on his lawn. I asked him what rallies he'd attended. He said he'd never been to one. I asked what he's done to help the cause. He said he put up the sign. Okay... but if you put up the sign and do nothing... you're not really helping. You're trying to look like you're helping.

Meaning you can't make something like a gun license, which you know many won't have be valid, but not a school ID, which most do have. Photo ID is to be counted as photo ID. So a driver's license, school ID, gun license, health card, etc all need to be the same.

Just like not all white people are racist. It's only the actual racists (like Republicans) that are the problem. I've got plenty of Palestinian friends. We hate what Israel is doing to Palestinians, and we hate the terrorist attacks that some extremists commit against the Israeli people. Also using "the" in front of a group of people is a common method use to other or belittle them. Saying "the Jews" instead of Jews means you're putting Jewish people into some lesser grouping. And Israel has nothing to do with Jewish people. A country and people of a faith are two completely separate things.

Republicans don't want people voting because if everyone can vote, then Republicans will lose every election because they offer absolutely nothing to the American people other than a devastated economy, less opportunity, and the revocation of rights and freedoms.

There are public libraries where people can use systems to register if they don't have internet access at home (Dems are also ensuring broadband is made available to everyone). And failing that, they can go to a government office to get registered. Nobody is being forced to go to the DMV specifically to get registered. It's simply an option being added to make life easier on millions. Your false narratives prove how insanely disingenuous you are. You're no different than those fascist propagandists who lie about "both parties are the same".

  47.  @TheRuben_music  Canada has automatic registration. It's tied to your taxes. Your taxes get processed every year, and as a part of that your info is verified for your voter registration. Even those who don't pay taxes because of disabilities or whatever, still have those forms completed, and thus still get registered. And of course people can just go to a Service Canada location to register, or do it online or through the mail. You'd think the US, that has that whole "no taxation without representation" thing, would be all on that.
