  36.  @Allie-ck2lj  Hey, I am allowed to hate Joe Biden. And I can tell him to f-off. I think he's a terrible president. Oh, I can recognize all the good he's done for America. His economic recovery has been best in the country's history. His jobs plan has saved countless people from going homeless. His rolling out the vaccines and plans to get them to the states and into the arms of Americans has saved countless millions of lives. He's fixed relations with America's allies and stood up to Putin. He ended the war in Afghanistan and brought the troops home. That said... he's been horrific on the border. Keeping it even further locked down than at any point during the last administration. He does support his own BBB bill. He's completely failed in responding to student debt. He's done nothing to protect voting rights. He's not fixed the horrific tax system that the orange cuck put into place that's jacking up the taxes on the American people. He's not done nearly enough to deal with the damage America is causing other countries with embargoes and such. He's just another corporate tool. And while he's repaired a lot of the damage cause by the orange traitor, he clearly has no intention of actually improving America beyond that or helping the American people in any significant way. So yeah, fuck Joe Biden. I'm glad he booted the orange traitor out of office, but if not for that orange fascist destroying America, he wouldn't have gotten any support. I'm allowed to hate a person while still appreciating what they've done, and criticizing what they've failed on. No president is perfect. Biden is mediocre at best. And I will never blindly support him without criticism, or ANY president or politician for that matter.

  39.  @paulagordon8222  Both. No reason it can't be. I hate Biden, and think he needs to be replaced immediately by a real Democrat, preferably an actual Progressive. I think Katie Porter needs to run in 2024. I'd support Bernie, but honestly he's too old at this point. Making old, rich, white men president over and over is what created this mess. The POTUS needs new blood. At the same time, I won't deny the good he's done for the country. And yes, he's been a REAL president, who's taken the job seriously and worked (more or less) for America again. Doesn't mean I can't disapprove with most of his views. He's a real president that I think is terrible. But he's duly elected, even if he only won because he was running against a fascist traitor who is irrefutably the worst president in American history. Most people didn't vote FOR Biden, they voted AGAINST the orange cuck. It's the same way I hate Richard Nixon, because he was a crook and a con man and a racist piece of crap... he was also a warmonger... and a pretty shitty human being all around... He also passed a lot of groundbreaking legislation for women's rights and giving women much more equality in the work place. As well as laws to protect women from domestic abuse. He passed some legislation that gave unions more power. Helped protect worker's rights and wages. And did some other notably positive things. You can hate who someone is and the things they've done while still acknowledging the good they've been able to do. Nothing is ever black and white. You don't just universally support or decry someone. You look at EVERYTHING they've done, and judge their actions on their individual merits.

  40.  @paulagordon8222  No problem. I get really frustrated with the people who just rally for the party without question. That's what leads to the mindless cult that Republicans have become. They unquestioningly obey their masters, ignore all the crimes and treason, while spreading the lies they're told to spread despite them all being 100% debunked. We don't need mindless sheep like that on the left. We need to push for leadership that is BETTER, not simple "Not on the Right". If we blindly support people simply because of a D next to their name without calling out their failings, we're no better than the fascists on the right. People who call anything pointing out the truth "fake news" and fighting to brainwash their followers. Yes, I supported Biden against the orange traitor, because he was NEEDED to save America. But I would have supported Bernie more. Unfortunately the DNC didn't give a damn about popular support (which Bernie had vastly more of than Biden) and went with Biden who was a "safe" corporate Democrat who would jump when his corporate masters told him to. We need to acknowledge and praise Biden's successes while calling out and criticizing his failures and lies. Politicians, all the way up to the president, SERVE THE PEOPLE, not the other way around (as Republicans and Corporate Dems would want people to believe). The only way to get better leadership is to hold their feet to the fire. Let Biden know that what he's done to fix the damage of the orange traitor is appreciated, but that the people DEMAND he uphold his campaign promises and deliver.

  41.  @sammonicuslux  At first, I thought similar. That Biden is just slow in how he handles things. That he's building up to something big. But it turns out... he's just incompetent. Or simply doesn't care. He could have fought hard for the BBB. Could have had Manchin over the coals and made sure he'd support it. But he didn't. He just let the bill get completely gutted to the point of uselessness. And now Manchin's basically ordering Biden around. I agree that Biden brings a level of respect and decorum back to the presidency. He's showing the country how a president SHOULD act (at least on the surface, even if he's failing to deliver). But I go with the "Fuck Joe Biden" thing for a few reasons. First off, to show how idiotic right wingers are with their "Let's Go Brandon" nonsense. They are self-censoring, despite supposedly being all about free speech. Because they know that on the right speech is tightly restricted, you can only say what they order you to say, and if you step out of line you will be truly "cancelled" by Republicans (media will shun and insult you, politicians will come out to insult you and brand you a traitor, etc). Second, it's the fact that I am so tired of people being "all in" on politicians. It's either you support them 100% or hate them 100%... and people refuse to see a middle ground. I can appreciate Biden for what he's accomplished and still criticize him for his failures. I don't have to just blindly praise him because he's a Democrat (which he's really not). Third, it gets a reaction... from both sides... and that's the first step in a conversation or debate. When I have said in the past that I don't like Biden but I appreciate the good he's done... I've gotten just the mindless responses. People on the left yelling at me for not supporting him, without reading what I say, or cheering me for praising him, again without actually reading the post. And then there's those on the right who do exactly the same, but reversed. When I use the FJB I tend to get a lot more people actually questioning what I mean. People trying to figure out "what side I'm on" as if politics is every supposed to be about SIDES? That's literally the opposite of what the founding fathers set up the government to be. The two party system is WHY America is such a failure. Now, admittedly, as the entire Republican party is now the party of fascism and treason, yes, being against them is the basic stance ALL Americans (and anyone who's not a fascist) should be taking. But that doesn't mean you should blindly support any Democrat just because of the D next to their name. We still have to hold those on the left to a higher standard and demand accountability.
