  4. People complained about why he didn't do it straight away. Well, it was identified while over land. So he ordered the military to shoot it down when it was somewhere that wouldn't risk the lives or property of the American people. If he'd shot it down over a city or some farmland, that could be devastating. Also, while they were watching it, they were also using it to gather intel on China through the signals the balloon was using. Giving them more access to Chinese frequencies and communications. So not only did he take care of it in the best way possible, while preventing it from gathering intel on the US, but they used it for counter-intelligence. WHICH IS AWESOME!!! GO JOE!!!   15.  @live4today390  The border has always been secure. The thing is, it's been secure with vastly less xenophobic and bigoted policies than are currently being used. Biden has basically gone overboard adding more regulations on an already massively overregulated and policed border that never needed any of that to begin with. People were hoping that Biden would do away with most of the policies in place by the last administration... but instead he doubled down on them.

But he will dangle the pardons now to try and get them to vote for him... and more importantly... to get them to stop all turning against him and admitting that HE organized and incited the insurrection. Once you have held office in America, you are FOREVER a "former official" and able to be impeached should evidence of such a crime be presented. They can't impeach Obama, because he's not doing anything that would allow impeachment. But technically, they COULD if he had committed a serious enough crime while in office.
