  1. They need to start truly fighting this threat. The government has already acknowledged that white supremacy is a massive threat to national security (second only to climate change). There needs to be harsh laws outlawing racism and hate crimes. Severe punishments to those in media who push racist rhetoric. And ANY politician who pushes racism and intolerance should not only be removed from office, but face several legal punishment.

  4. Republicans making the orange traitor their Speaker would be the greatest gift they could give Biden. First off, it means every Republican in the House will have to kiss his ass 24/7 or he'll remove them from committees and likely push to have them removed from office. Abject loyalty TO him, zero loyalty FROM him. Second, the dementia addled orange moron will rant and blather and stumble over words, giving his incoherent nonsense in front of Congress every day, and continuing to cry over Biden kicking his ass in a landslide in 2020. Showing the country what a brainless idiot he is, and how he is incapable of stringing a basic sentence together. Which will only serve to shine a spotlight on the amazing speeches Biden has been giving, which are eloquent and impactful. It will show Americans that of the two, only Biden has ANY right to hold office. Third, the orange loser has no clue how ANYTHING works, as he's stupid and too arrogant to ever bother learning anything. So he will fumble through Congress, being shut down time after time after time, and will try to pass bills that are impossible, which will get defeated every single time. And Biden will get the credit. Every time it will be "Biden defeats another bill proposed by the orange traitor." He will get humiliated constantly, which will only serve to make Biden look like a strong leader, and the orange cuck look like the incompetent boob that he is. Fourth, many Republicans are being yelled at by their constituents that they want a Republican, but NOT one who supports the orange traitor. So their obsequiousness in Congress will only hurt them in their own elections. So if they make him Speaker, they can kiss their seat goodbye. That last one is why non-MAGA Republicans (the handful left) are more likely to push for Jefferies to be Speaker, just to make sure the orange traitor can't utterly destroy the GOP by screwing up worse than McCuckthy ever could. So please, Republicans. PLEASE be stupid enough to push for that orange loser to be Speaker. You will be putting the final nail in the GOP coffin and guaranteeing Biden the biggest margin of victory in US history.

  11. Simply put, if there isn't justice for this attack on democracy, then America will never be able to intervene in other countries' democratic issues again. Think about it. How can the US come in to "support democracy" (even though everyone knows it's not about democracy and just US dominance) in other countries when they have completely abandoned democracy themselves? You'd have countless countries rising up to oppose America's actions. Russia and China could easily point out that America has given up on democracy at home and has no right to interfere in other countries. Real democratic countries would step in to oppose America's interference because a country that has turned away from democracy as the US has cannot be allowed to ruin other countries in the same manner. It would be the end of American foreign power.

When it came time to authorize government spending to the police in the federal budget, Republicans voted to block it. Democrats got it passed. Democrats pushed a motion to award the brave police who defended the Capitol with medals for their service. Republicans voted to oppose. Democrats pushed it through to honor them anyway.
