The last man to speak is disconnected and clueless. People like him were the problem, why Trump won. I do have to say Trump was a lot of fun. Last president that was this much fun was Ronald Reagan.

"The white house is infested with warmongers militiamen christian extremists fanatical evangelists." Wow... say that 3 times fast.

@chrislee5685 I answered the question put to me and China was one of the answers. The cause of the E.Palestine accident was a hot box. A hot box can occur at anytime and usually can not be seen until until the wheel bearing in the box starts smoking. By the way the Chinese railways use the same device on their railcars. The chemicals were set on fire as one of the rail tanks cars appeared ready to explode. Burning off the chemicals leaves less behind to get into the local environment. The cause of the accident was published once it was known. Many journalists have no idea about how rail cars are made or what can go wrong with them. A hot box would be beyond them.
1
@chrislee5685 I was asked for a similar accident in China. I gave R9 Studies one. All railroad lines have accidents of one kind or another and most will not be in the news. The accident in Ohio has been reported on by several U.S. sources. Some news organizations will cover a story more or better than others. As for burning the chemicals, time will show whether the approach used was wise or not.
1
@chrislee5685 From R9 Studies: "And, while we're at it, please direct me to any similar accidents in China"
1
@chrislee5685 I just pointed out the failure that caused the derailment and that state owned railroads also have derailments. R9 asked the question. Start from my first post and read down.

Russia thinks Russia and Ukraine always have had a wonderful relationship. How could Ukraine be so thankless?

Argentina has been a mess since the Perons ran the country.

This was an attempt to try to get Nordstream in the news again. In the United States everyone gets a loud say and it has been that way since 1789. Things do get done and changes occur in between all the fighting. As for money... every government gets infested with it.

Germany runs a trade deficit with China. Now if German investment in China makes a profit and the money is sent back to Germany, that trade deficit is reduced. If the investments do not produce a profit greater than the trade deficit, Germany is losing out on trade with China.

This week it looked liked China was ready to kill a lot of people on Taiwan.
1
In what context was that statement made? It's history?
1
China does not believe in God.
1
@菱角视界 The United States wanted to withdraw from South Korea before China attacked. The Chinese invasion put an end to those plans. The U.S. Army wasn't even prepared for a war. China's ally Josef Stalin was betting on it, thinking the U.S. would be easy to defeat.

Start charging OPEC 5X more for foodstuffs.

I just hear the constant threats from Beijing.

We all thank Russia for saving the world from attack by Ukrainian apartment buildings. Certainly BRICS is already providing us benefits.

It isn't Confucianism, it lower labor costs that brought semi-conductors to Asia.

Holocausts are usually a biproduct of dictatorships and far left movements.

You do not build destroyers to maintain peace, you build destroyers to, well, destroy things. It's in the name.

Russia needs the money. China needs the oil. China will do more business in Europe and the US then they'll ever do with Russia.

This rocket is twice is powerful as Saturn. A new and complex design which will need field testing. On the other hand if it was a total success, I doubt anyone here would say congratulations.

I am not sure if Sachs could be called emanate. He does love the camera. Mr. Sachs ignores South and Central America's long and distinguished history of political instability. There is no one to negotiate with as any deal reached ends up being ignored in just a few years. Brazil and Colombia seems to have gotten out of this long standing pattern of changing government by military every few years. Treaties signed with the Soviet Union started to happen because leadership in the Soviet Union wanted to change. Nikita Khrushchev wanted to change things. He survive the wreckage caused by Josef Stalin and wanted the Soviet Union to be a better place. In his writings he said he wanted to cut the Soviet Union's military budget in half and use the savings to invest in homes and consumer products. This alarmed Soviet leadership and they turfed him out of office. Nikita Khrushchev was a man you could do business with and the U.S. did business with him.

@PhiloSurfer Who does China sell to?
1
@grouchypatch9185 Same in the U.S. People on Social Security are taking a hit with food and rent prices. Thankfully the U.S. Congress jumped right into action by taking a recess.

Look at the history and then ask yourself, Why would Ukraine want to be close to Russia?
1
@gunsumwong3948 Do a little research. Compare how many times The Soviet Union/Russia attacked their neighbors versus how many times has NATO attacked The Soviet Union/Russia. Include the Berlin Airlift of 1948 in your research. And all this despite the United States and the United Kingdom helping the Soviet Union during World War 2. And the Soviet Union encouraging North Korea to go into South Korea thinking the U.S. wouldn't aid South Korea. Portraying Russia as some virgin wearing white raiment is quite a stretch of the imagination.
1
@gunsumwong3948 LOL... you are funny Gun Sum Wong and wrong on many levels but I am not sure how this justifies Russia destroying apartment buildings in Ukraine. By the way, I am not Anglo-Saxon.
1
@gunsumwong3948 Most of Ukraine wants to keep Russia at a distance. They have very good and solid historical reasons for it. Just like Finland does. Always remember Gun Sum Wong, NATO formed because of the past actions of the Soviet Union. NATO is the response to Soviet/Russian provocations.
1
@gunsumwong3948 The Soviet Union was always Russia and a few places that raised goats. Russia was always the power in the Soviet Union. Your argument would carry more weight if Russian history showed Russia treated other people better including the Ukrainians.
1
@gunsumwong3948 "with a vast network of supplying industries which are areas Russia has since recovered." You mean Russia invaded.
1
@gunsumwong3948 Russia did invade there too. Maybe you can see why NATO was formed years ago. And after several Russian invasions, maybe that is why Russia fears NATO? Guilt? Hmmm... maybe?
1
I am not sure why you are trying to turn this into a racism issue but people from around the world come to the U.S. to get away from their home countries. Most stay and become citizens. The U.S. doesn't force people to emigrate here. By the way whites produce most of the patents though non-whites do contribute heavily today. I might point out the U.S. was on the Moon when most non-white countries were going through chaos and revolutions. So if you want to start thinking, think about the things you say on here first.
1
@Wbliss Listening to Kim Jong Un's sister threaten to eradicate South Korea for bringing in Covid... I think the U.S. is the least of the problem. Keep in mind back in the late 1940's early 1950's the United States thought the Koreans were not central to their Asian policy, North Korea backed by it's two major allies launched a war that shifted U.S. goals to remain in South Korea instead of leaving.

You have to know where to look.

Nothing new, they have been doing this for years. It is not a large protest.
1
The United States has about 15% of the nuclear weapons it had 50 years ago.
1
Being energy independent from Russia is always a good thing. On the other hand Russia blew away billions of Euro's in easy money. Plus Russia started a war that China is now paying for. There are new sources of oil coming on line which will reduce demand for Russian oil. Europe needs to step up and starting using nuclear power.
1
@maxsweetman6341 If Europe didn't go green goofy they wouldn't have to hustle for electricity. Depending on wind turbines is like depending on the weather.
1
Did you look into the charges?

EU puts tariffs on American products.

Ukraine had a lot of nice small towns too...
1
Trying to sell it as an act against Germany is not a great approach. The Germans knew all along being dependent of Russia was a bad idea. Keep in mind the U.S. has helped defend Germany since 1945.
1
@covertpuppytwo9231 North Korea was Josef Stalin's baby.

Japan currently makes good money in their trade with the U.S. They still eat well.

As long as China spends much money, they will have many, many friends.

ThePHiLsTeR If it is a Democrat Party city this is how life looks like. Yet, these people vote Democrat time after time after time.

When Afghanistan took Bin Laden in, they clearly were not worried about terrorists and the harm they caused others.

@strongchallenger2269 The death penalty is rarely given, even in extreme cases and without regard to race.
