"when the US also disappears like the soviet. then maybe the world can finally have a chance of peace" There never has been world peace in human history. Keep in mind the U.S. became a country in 1783 so you'll have to explain to me why there never has been peace pre 1783.

@noneone3310 "soviet did much much less damages to the world compares to the US, and contributed much much more to the world than the US" The United States had to fight a 2 front war while supplying both the U.K. and the Soviet Union with food and war material. The Soviet Union fought a 1 front war and arguably the government under Stalin was worse than Hitler's Germany. The Soviet Union supported revolutionary groups that caused chaos in many countries through out it's history, imprisoned millions and added little to the technologies and solutions to help make the world better. I should add, the United States had to bribe Brazil so they would not align with the Nazis.

You need to get out more often.

Moni Penny In order to earn more, you must produce more.
1
Moni Penny If workers produce more, there is more money for raises. French workers traded productivity for a more relaxed lifestyle. Extra time off is nice but that means you have the same costs spread over fewer units to sell.

Zimbabwe created it's own headaches. No help needed.

Xi Jinping pretty much gave Lula the standard speech.

@truthfiction8408 Did you read what I had said? I do not think so. Take a deep breath, relax then read again.
1
@yingxu7908 Iraq is a democracy. Afghanistan could have been free but they ran like cowards and Libya, no explanation there. I did not support the action in Libya.

@truthfiction8408 U.S. investment around the world.

The United States can make $8,000 ev's too. But you'd have to reduce pay to the same level of Chinese workers. That would not be very popular. China would also have to allow it's currency to float like the U.S. dollar does. A low value currency allows China to sell more overseas. It has nothing to do with corrupt CEOs. It has more to do with a high cost structure society. It has nothing to do with Chinese efficiency. You want to pay workers more, you will have to pay higher product prices. It is not rocker science, it is basic economics. And it applies equally to a Capitalist economy as it would a Socialist economy.

If Russia didn't invade Ukraine, there would be no military problems at all.

Use the Kissinger quote correctly please. Provide context.

@BruceWayne-el6dx My problem is finding posters who accurately quote.
1
@BruceWayne-el6dx It is my problem. But the search goes on.

The United States has stated it is up to Taiwan.

The United States invested in Africa at a time when investing would be wasted due to vast corruption and ineptness in African leadership. The U.S. has forgiven billions of dollars in loans to Africa nations.
1
@mwinyimwenyi $182 billion in exports? That would be to the good of Africa. In June 2022 the United States exported to Africa $2,653,500,000 and imported from Africa $3,848,500,000. Africa is making a $1,195,000,000 dollars profit. So who is benefitting with trade with America? Are Africans stealing from America???
1
@mwinyimwenyi The numbers I gave you for U.S. trade with Africa leaves you with a weak argument. Trade in other months is about the same, Africa has a trade surplus with the United States. African leadership is a problem of the Africans, they borrow money and waste it is not the fault of other countries. Africa had over $40 billion dollars in debt forgiven, had other changes and reductions since then. If Africans do not use the money wisely, nothing more can be said. Numbers supplied by China itself shows China sells more to Africa than Africa sells to China. You have to do the research.

Hamas has the destruction of Israel in it's charter.

The United States exported $461 million dollars in goods to Iraq and imported from Iraq $5,845 billion dollars in goods. The U.S. is paying a lot of money for stolen Iraqi goods don't you think?
1
@Cheung Chau Actually, the U.S. gets drawn into some. Like in the 1930's when the U.S. embargoed war materials to Japan as a protest against their invasion of China and Japan bombed the naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in retaliation. No good deed goes unpunished.
1
@Cheung Chau "Japan was planning to expand into Asia long before they invaded China or bombed Pearl Harbor." Not material to what I said. Japan was in the process of expanding. So called American hegemony was usually a reaction to the actions by other countries. 1950 South Korea is an example. As for Ukraine, Russia invaded the country. As for Taiwan, the United States has said Taiwan must decide, not be forced into reunification.
1
Clearly C19 will not go away until it decides when it will go away. In the United States doctors on their own discovered aids in the treatment of C19 and some sounded rather odd but proved effective. These doctors were shut down fast because they were not "authorized". While isolating people may seem to be a good idea, once people are back out in public and in the general population, if the virus is still present, people will get it.

After Hong Kong, Taiwan would want to be independent of China.
1
U.S. policy is Taiwan should be free to decide it's fate and that it can do so freely and willingly. The same policy applies to Puerto Rico. The Puerto Ricans are free to be independent, remain a commonwealth or become a state. They have 3 times voted on the matter and each vote has been deadlocked.

If he doesn't start flinging his nuclear bombs all over the place.

China looks at it's declining exports and it wants that business back.

Ya did good kid, ya did good.

They like the food is not exactly in-depth stuff.

"They think Russia is like the brown skin people" Russia's performance in Ukraine has been pretty bad. Through out their history they have suffered some serious and embarrassing defeats. During World War 2 they performed better than the Germans but that was only because the Germans made some incredibly stupid mistakes, not for lack of fighting ability. Japan in the early 1900's slapped Russia around like they were a silly little girl.
1
When it suits the Philippines, they are with China. And when it's suits the Philippines they are with the U.S.A.
1
@unifieddynasty Usually world leaders declare universal peace and next thing you know, there's a war. If China comes across with a big check, Philippines will love China, if the United States comes across with a better check, the Philippines will love the United States. Love the one you are with :)

The United States has had high speed rail long before China did. There is less demand for high speed rail in the U.S.
1
"Russia can now blow up the Norway pipeline to Europe." The Russians have worked tirelessly to make the world safe from Ukrainian apartment buildings.
1
They were free to speak. They went beyond speech.
1
China has made threats against Taiwan. Will the Chinese government promise if they attack Taiwan, they will kill no kids or grandmas?
1
Putin will never admit to making a mistake. Russia has nothing to offer outside of some missiles and oil. He gained what from Ukraine and he lost some large markets in Europe. He had to sell large amounts of oil at a heavy discount, If Putin ran a business this way, the board of directors would fire him. As for China if the Yuan goes up, exports will go down and so will jobs.
1
Won't happen because China has arrested American and Canadian citizens under questionable charges.

@жительевросоюза Somedays you just have to get in the mud and fight there.
1
@жительевросоюза I agree they should understand the difference.

I wonder why the U.S. has bases in South Korea. Could it be China's ally North Korea wants to nuke everything in sight?
1
@covertpuppytwo3857 Well, Tibet is a different story...
1
Sending balloons over U.S. military installations is a very, very bad idea.
1
"or to the Japanese families interred in concentration camps during WWII" Wrong.
1
China has the same policy of sourcing domestically.
1
Look at the history of China :)
1
Russia invaded Ukraine. Russian invasions of nearby countries is not anything new. If people do not like Russia, it could be for good reason. Russia over the past century has done a lot of dislikeable things. And deep down, Europe maybe accepting the U.S. was right about Russia. Why China would carry the water for Russia is beyond me. It's not like China is defending Switzerland.
1
None of this would have been a problem if Russia didn't invade Ukraine and then to spice things up, made implied threats about using nuclear bombs. It is China that is keeping the lights on in Moscow. Time for Putin to declare success I suppose.
