It is very relevant that we protect the whistleblower because there have been death threats against his lawyers. Trump supporters have mailed bombs to people they believe are trumps political opponents so it is critical that we protect anyone who is exposing the crupption inside this administration. But the whistleblower himself is irrelevant to the issue of Trumps crimes because we have first hand testimony from the people involved including the ambassador trump appointed who donated 1 million dollars to trump in order to buy his job.
