@mr.chuckleteeth4382 your comment makes no sence at all? Are you celebrating the fact that the ff industry has knowingly caused the 6th mass extinction event and set in motion the end of life on the only planet which supports human life? Because it sounds like you are calibrating genocide
2
@mr.chuckleteeth4382 you should just move to the western states the forest fires and droughts will have done all that hard work for you. Or any other desert you would like to live in.
2
So the USA spends $100 billion arming Ukraine and their best sucess comes from half century old rockets built by the USSR? What does that say about the $100 billion we gave them in weapons?
2
I was thinking than the world super powers. But yes good to shame those of us who are lagging.
2
@matthewgibbs6886 putting batteries in the building site that would store onsite power for days or having backup generators on site with stored fuel on site would keep the power on so long as the building itself stood. After the building fails there isn't anything to plug in. But it is more profitable to not invest in backup generators and storage but to depend on the grid. So no there are solutions that are reliant to the winds in question just that good caplistist find it cheaper to hang wires on wooden poles and replace them after the wind blows them down. After all it won't be the caplistist class who suffer they hope into the trump tax write off private jet and fly away until after the grid is back up.
2
Don't worry there are far more people willing to take the vaccine today then supply. With 7 plus billion humans on planet earth it will be a while before the supply exceeds the demand.
2
@johnwattdotca you need to study the post WWII monetary system if you don't understand how the USA is able to keep increasing our monetary system without deflation of the dollar. It has to do with being the stand for international trade. Oil is just one of many things that are traded in dollars. Solar panels and wind turbines would work just as well.
2
@hemanshuchudasama3535 in the USA both the house and Senate have to pass the same legislation before it becomes law. 6 members of the house could stop this bill from becoming law same as 8 members of the Senate stopped the house version of this bill from becoming law because they wanted to deny Americans a living wage. But neither the house or the Senate can pass law on their own. Our system is designed to protect the status quo.

Manufacturing concent for endless war
2
Time for Australia to find a new energy economy because we need to leave all the coal in the ground if we want to avoid the 6th mass extinction event.
2
This is the cost of intellectual property rights
2
Strengthened by every barrel of oil pumped out of the ground by the ff industry
2
How does lowering corporations taxes result in more money for politicians? Just wondering how you figured that out as the tax rate in many countries was higher than 15% . Even in the USA it is higher than that after the trump tax cuts.
2
Renewable energy is the cheapest fastest new energy generation to bring on line. The host either is ignorant of the time and cost of new energy generation or is simply pushing a coal and nuclear industry talking point.
2
Brought to you by the ff industry who knew it was comming in the 1960s
2
"We agree we need to do everything that is possible" so the governments in the EU are saying what that it isn't possible to put lives before monopoly profiteering?
2
Which is only 16 billion less than we need... 2 shots time 8 billion people. The only way to meet the demand is to end the patten monopoly and let the other country make their own. Give a man a fish and you feed him for today, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
2
@TeddyKrimsony funny because for stationary storage you came use any battery technology and I can't think of a single one that is more environmentally damaging than the ff industry and the fracking industry
2
Catch 22 there is if the line from 1978 is so bad it bursts into flames 50 feet high without sabotage then it should be decommissioned
2
I guess you missed the part where he said the first engine explosion was a few years ago.
2
How about ending the ff monopoly by building local renewable energy. Having my own solar system has given me freedom from the power grid and security knowing I have power for decades to come
2
@donkalzone6671 you mean Germany wouldn't buy the cheaper to build renewable energy to replace the natrual gas? Why do you want to keep investing in a more expensive solution which harms the environment at the same time?
2
@Gunslinger65 the dismantling of the USSR that made the mess we have today in Ukraine. Well played.
2
Bul Thaosen you need to re read what I wrote. I said it was easier for a larger wealthy community to do it than a smaller poor one.
1
@vinniechan wow you get a gold star. This is a insightful as saying water is wet
1
@vinniechan you might as well point out that thermal power plants depend on water.
1
Seems like someone should study if this mutation is less deadly in people and if the mutation is a key to a vaccine that creates an antibody response in people. Many vaccines come from animals.
1
@saba1030 so your priority is bankrupt citizens working as slave labor. Got it.
1
@saba1030 guess you didn't notice what companies where mentioned in the video you should look at it again to see who DW and you are defending. It isn't the myth of small businesses.
1
@saba1030 nice to see you didn't understand my point about the priorities of the media coverage.
1
@Robin-il8nc someone did learn anything from history. When the working class can't pay their bills is when countries fall.
1
Why waste money on the most expensive form of new energy generation? Wind solar and grid scale storage is the answer far less expensive than ff or nuclear.
1
@quirky-smooths as to your complaint about infrastructure building a pipeline from Russia that they don't fill has worked out so well for Germany you should definitely keep investing in Russian gas to have them cut your supplies off as apposed to renewable energy inside your own country you control. Great idea
1
Nope it is the single most expensive form of new energy generation. Nuclear is a dead industry. Wind solar and storage is the future they already win on the cost so the market has spoken ff and nuclear lost.
1
I have asked the same question of the ff industry which caused the climate crisis and flooding like this.
1
@saifaddeenal-manaseer6325 oh is it too soon to talk about the route cause of the disaster? You sound like the NRA saying we can't discuss gun control in the USA when there is a shooting
1
@EQOAnostalgia where did I say guns were not a problem?? As to cows that is funny because you don't even understand enough of their digestive system to know which end the methane comes out let alone that a simple dietary supplement will stop the production of methane and improve their health. But sure blame the cows not the ff industry which pumps carbon out of the ground and leaks methane all of which was sequestered before either cows or humans evolved. The scientists are clear this is a human caused climate crisis causing the 6th mass extinction.
1
Of course the US government is arguing for all the wrong reasons. This like all oil projects will cause more flooding and more forest fires. This is why future generations will have to deal with even more climate crisis problems
1
@VFAHSN you need to do your homework. There are plenty of plans for a pathway to 100% renewable energy on a global scale. Google can help you find them. We don't need ff and in fact if we want a planet that supports human life we can't continue to use it end of story. By the way I am at 42 north lattidude and have a off grid solar system which provides enough electricity for my entire house including electric stove hot water. I am planing on installing subfloor heating and a thermal mass to store the excess solar thermal energy for heating my house so I dont have to do the work of getting wood. So sure maybe in the artic circle the solar system won't work in the winter wind will by the way the north sea has plenty of wind. Cities are a resource issue no matter how you slice it. But I ask you do you want to be part of the 6th mass extinction event? I personally dont so I am doing all I can to avoid it
1
@fedcoin1602 did you listen to the entire video?
1
@fedcoin1602 yup keep trying you can find a way to make a strawman argument
1
@fedcoin1602 you need to study why Hydrogen is a bad idea in pipelines. If you did you would know it is far more likely to leak and then burn or explode then natrual gas which also leaks out of those pipelines. Both are bad technologies. We have much better ways to make and store electricity in 2020 to meet our energy needs
1
@fedcoin1602 in the case of the story the entire dream of a hydrogen economy is a pipedream or gaslighting us. Trying to convince us that this investment in the ff industry won't simply be a stranded assets as we transmission away from ff to avoid the 6th mass extinction event caused by the ff industry.
1
@manuelle844 so you are saying what that the rest of Europe had a bigger labor pool to build out renewable energy solutions faster?
1
@manuelle844 oh bigger countries need more than one or two power plants. Glad you told is no one would have known you need to scale the power grid to the community.
1
@youdontneedtoknowwhoiam9612 you say that like it matters.
1
@youdontneedtoknowwhoiam9612 lol and here I thought hydro dams powered entire cities including the heavy industry in them. I see how you could have overlooked that I mean it is new technology only been used for over a century now
1
How do you do a CPAC story without covering how the "Christian right" worshiped a golden idol of trump? There is nothing Christian or American about worshipping a golden idol.
1
8 millionaires in the Democratic party just stopped millions of the least paid Americans getting a raise. I wouldn't be too impressed with that accomplishment. $1400 one time payment interchange for a raise from $7.2 to $15 per hour is a very bad trade for the working class Americans. But it was a great deal for the 8 millionaires who get paid $1054 per day by the American taxpayers and got to keep paying those taxpayers they employ $56 per day worked.
1
Helen Pauls ever single Republican in Congress just voted to block a raise for the least paid Americans. That tells you what you need to know about the Republicans
