The IPCC report was clear we have till 2030 to stop burning all ff and these rockets burn insane amounts of methane so Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk can have a few minutes of joy ride

  11.  @deanbarnett8538  I would be careful about all options trading one oil baron for a different one only risks building more stranded assets as we approach the end of the ff era. I would focus on wind solar and geothermal heating. Also increased building insulation in places where it is lacking apparently that is a big problem still in the UK according to the insulate Britian movement anyway. But as oil is a global market all of NATO should make a war time effort to transition away from ff. If we did this globally we could easily replace the demand that Russia produces.

But I definitely support everyone growing their own garden it is the best usage of that lawn you could have.   20.  @ArawnOfAnnwn  the carbon that is pumped from deep wells was outside the biosphere it was locked up before the human species evolved. So yes the ff industry does add it to the biosphere. The carbon the cows eat comes from grass that was pulling it out of the atmosphere during the summer and would release it again in the fall anyway. Carbon from plants to animals is the natural carbon cycle and not the problem
