Tuur Vercauteren the question is “how much will it beat the GT2RS MR by?” Of course it’s way quicker. It’s got a lot more power, a lot more downforce and it’s lighter. Worse case scenario it’s only 10s a lap quicker.

Allen Saunders The Senna is about 200kgs lighter than the 720S but I’m not sure that’s enough to shave 0.9s off the 0-124mph time. It is possible that the Senna has exactly the same power as the 720s, except this time mclaren are being honest. Oddly the 720 dynos at between 789-791bhp.

Shift Gears no we don’t. In fact around Magny Cours the 720S is quicker than the GT2RS on inferior tyres. Put the same tyres on the 720S as the GT2 RS and it’s quicker.

The X5 M50D would be my family car/all year all weather go to vehicle. Great video Tim, been waiting for this one. BTW the M50D has 400hp, not 381, that's the outgoing model.

@jonathantaylor1998 Sorry, but I don't need a 30 to 40 minute break every three hours on a long trip. I might make one longer stop to have a meal, the other stops are just ten minute breaks to pee and stretch my legs. Excusing this poor range is just sad.

Shmee150 don't use aero drag as an excuse. Your aero wasn't even active and the 570S beat the LT off line and kept pulling away. Your car has at least 100bhp more. Even if aero drag was a factor it wouldn't have an effect until higher speeds.

I hope the stats are accurate because that would be insane to see :) If the hybrid tech means the front wheels are driven, then it's combined 1000hp should easily allow a low 2 second 0-100kph, but if all through the rear like the P1, then there is little chance of that time.

From that POV yes. I bought a 3yr old 320D Touring for £12.5k back in 2015... It must have been more than double that when new.

The exhaust note sounds awful for an AMG. I know it’s not their fault, they had to “nanny state” the system. Flat plane turbo engine doesn’t always produce the best sound. Mclaren is a fine example; it needs a really good system to get a decent engine note.

I’d take the power and usability of this car every time over a GT3. Sound is important but but it’s not everything.

You're a bit fast and loose with the term "hypercar". Neither the F40 nor the F50 and Enzo are HyperCars. They are super cars.

I never really warmed to the Veyron. I admire it for the technical and engineering achievement it is, but the Chiron... that has a massive WANT plastered all over it.

GT4 prices went up to around £100-£110k "used" but they've already started to slide back. Looking at the GT4 now after its been out a while, it doesn't scream future classic to me even though to an extent it will be.

It doesnt look "wild" enough, or maybe we're so used to lesser cars like the GT3 looking like track refugees that wild has become the new normal.

With one megawatt of power and what appears to be a serious aero kit, over 7 minutes on the ring seems to be "slow".

Not sold on the grill styling. The rest of it is solid, but not "take your breath away". Would I have a M8 version. Hell to the yes ;)
