I wonder if the current generations of Aboriginal people, Maori, or africans, etc etc would rather they were still scratching around in the dirt for grubs. Isnt that the main question? I always wonder about any statement in this regard with the question "as compared to what?"

I'd imagine that a Mumbai archetype isnt what Javed might want, thinking more Lahore on that one.... ...and there's the problem, importation and installation of divided loyalties into the highest positions in the land. I wonder if I were excellently qualified if would get the chance of a running in the competition to lead Pakistan or India? Wake up Britain.

It just goes to show that everything Douglas Murray wrote about in his book "the strange death of Europe" is happening. The continent has forgotten its story and seems unwilling to defend itself anymore.
22
@robertjohnston8690 that needs thorough investigating
22
@garyrothwell1914 I have to work there, it's a ringing endorsement of how wrong diversity is.
22
The problem comes when the lunatics have squashed out all the current "explanations" for black problems, and it's seen that things don't change or likely get worse! What do they blame then?

I work in the NHS, im about to go on a 13 hour night shift now, i could write essays here. Its enough to say that the place is a pit of misery, rudderless useless dangerous and spiteful management, overwhelmed with the detritus of the 3rd world both as patients and colleagues. Its changed utterly in the 25 years ive been associated with it, as a military practioner and then as a civilian on retirement. It is governed by the axiom "acceptable mediocrity" as i have come to know it.
22
There is a saying..."the squeaky hinge gets the most oil"
22
Same here, those policies wouldn't be out of place in a great many peoples minds.

A few years ago at work, I had to challenge an Asian lass about her laziness and disruptive behaviour in the NHS lab I work in. For some time it was clear she wasn't very interested in working and preferred to continuously engage the other Asian lasses in long conversations while they were trying to concentrate on outputting test results etc. When I pulled her up about it and told her to go find something to do, the instant reaction was the R word. To which I simply replied "you'd best have some evidence for that, your solicitor will ask you for it see". She made vague threats about going to management and I pointed the way to the office in case she'd forgotten. The important thing is push back where possible, but ensure you do it when you have neutral witnesses.

Exactly, this is why I can't take anything these grifters say about "us" having to "do more" in the slightest bit serious. Their own places of origin are not some beacon of justice, light, and benevolence. Far from it entirely, very far. Only about 20 countries in the world treat people as we do, and look at all the benefit it's bringing us! People with chips on their shoulders, hands out and grasping for everything we have instead of putting those shoulders and hands to work in their own holes to improve them.
22
So basically we must strive to "equalise" parliament in much the same way as the successes gained in the fields of Sewage Workers, Bin Men (sorry bin people I mean) and god knows all the other unpleasant jobs that now benefit from 50% of women. Dont me laugh 🤣
22
This wouldn't take too much organising. Would be instructive to see what happens.
21
Love catching a Simon video as it come out for me. I'm off work today after working for the last 6 in the vaunted NHS.
21
Well done Peter Atkinson 👏 I'd love to see the process he took here as I've tried complaining (mostly to the BBC) and gotten nowhere with it.
21
Have they learnt not a single thing about welcoming in the 3rd world and its effects on other European countries? Clearly not! Not only that but they are doing it at a rate far faster than the rest, services and culture cannot possibly absorb this rate. I'd always felt the first major outright civil unrest over modern immigration would come from France, I think now it might be Ireland.
21
@finolaomurchu8217 Hello Finola. I moved here 28 years ago, I made a conscious decision to integrate into British society rather than festering in the various community centres about old conflicts. Culturally there is little difference between Irish and British people so any integration I made was easy. I felt it very important to not fester on the past. In the end I spent 23 years in the armed forces in a good career and I'm very thankful for the opportunity. It saddened me a lot to see what Irelands politicians were saying during the Brexit years, I'm sure a lot of that was EU pressure and still happens to today.
21
Current tory "leadership" contender Tom Tugendhat (along with other ex military MPs) was very strident about this debt that "we owe" to these afghans. I spent 2 tours there and nothing at all convinces me that we owe them anything at all after the things I witnessed. Im fact my last tour there underlined that these peoppe were no friends at all. Less said here about that the better.
21
@evolassunglasses4673 have to agree, must stop importing other people who aren't interested in integrating, only continuing their problems with other, other people who we import.
21
The publisher is one thing and a major thing, but I wonder what the writer(s) think of this complaint.
21
Lammy...my god, that fellow is a disaster. He makes "cleverly" look like an elder statesman.
21
This is standard in the NHS nowadays especially in big city hospitals. I work in the god forsaken institution and it is riven with the things you speak of here. Yet we are told we need more of this gang to "look after our aging population"! That would be fine if the system wasnt clogged with patients from poor countries with very complicated medical ailments and genetic problems being "looked after" by the very bunch you speak of as well our own folk. Stupid government, stupid NHS, stupid people accepting it.
21
Aye send em home. We'll take our chances without em 😂
21
Well he would, wouldnt he. He is going to need them to solidify his power.
21
Enough of importing more of this adding to our own maniacs.
21
My compassion for coloured issues ran out years ago.
21
@paulnolan1352 that's the problem isn't it, the tories haven't been tories for the last 13 years. They've been labour-lite. So the problem for Labour, if they get in, will be they won't do anything different, but now have no wiggle room on the likes of taxes. This is obvious as obvious gets.
21
This is gold! Lucky we will soon all be saved!
21
Yes this act of parliament made specifically to ring fence HIS pension and his alone...well I should think there's an interesting story behind that and who benefitted (or was protected) by it.
20
Bacon sandwiches all round!
20
Sowell is a great mind.
20
Enver Solomon is a particularly dangerous individual to this country.
20
Indeed. Unlike many in America, every black person here, is here because they or their ancestors chose to be here.
20
Quite right, the rest is just theatre.
20
@RobReadControlledProjects you absolutely may suggest that, let's see if he joins the queue for those heading that way. Its a short line.
20
Seems to me that a great many spent much effort in order to be normalised in society only for the militant wing to keep on fighting the fight long after the normalisation was given. I suppose it comes down to not having anything else to do and well...a jobs a job eh.
20
I firmly blame hollywood for this noble savage misperception, and much else. Its my solid belief that Hollywood has much to answer for in regard to how we view our history and how others view us.
20
@stephfoxwell4620 nice one Steph, let us know how it goes 😊
19
@Jambo no hes already posted, something about a small donation, I mean where is his social conscience, a small donation wont be enough to buy that mansion will it!
19
@margon1234 this is the part I dont understand, how long standing, cherished and well supported British cultural institutions are letting all of this go ahead, maybe there is some debate before programmes are aired about the content but it seems as though this pervasive CRT dogma wins out and this rubbish gets aired. David Olusoga is another one with the title historian attached and gives plenty of grift in his programmes. Everywhere we are treated to falsehoods and lies about our society and its history.
19
If all that happens I should imagine that the billionaires might find themselves on the menu.
19
I can only think the board are trying to tank their share prices. I can't see how that would sell any cars for them.
19
Good advice!
19
I agree, however it's more difficult than that because the progressive left have effectively weaponised the concepts of what is good, decent, strong, with the use of terms such as diversity etc. The push back starts small but it can work, this is mainly because once the arguments are unpicked the ideology starts cracking easily. I have started pushing back in my every day life when these concepts start to crop up, mostly by asking questions of those around me. I have also started writing letters, for instance I wrote to the mathematics dept at Durham university with the simple statement in large bold letters that "Two plus two ALWAYS and ONLY equals Four". This will make sense if you are aware of the push to decolonialise maths of all things. Small steps. Other than that it's taking much more notice of politicians especially at a local level.
19
@raypurchase801 I used to admire the BBC, it was a great institution that provided bias free reporting and decent programming. Now it's the left wing press TV channel.
19
It's amazing isnt it. Problem is they are trying to solve this by doing what America does. We could try something novel and just not let this gang in from cultures with little to nothing in common with our own, most are actively out with an axe to grind anyway.
19
Haha Hope not Hate got so strongly behind this syrian kid being called names. When thousands of children in depressed communities round britain were treated to extended periods of "Hate not Hope" by certain section of our apparent UK society, all the while ignored and suppressed by our justice system. On the face of it I'd have thought "Hope not Hate" would get behind them as strongly as the named called Syrian. Maybe theres a different agenda and the thousands don't matter.
19
Apparently we have a gaping problem with social care in this country, perhaps it could help towards that?
19
It's funny also how the BBC attributed this increase to the "fact" that it was just the population of sufferers living longer rather than any thought as to how we've just imported far more carriers.
19
Yes we could have Jamaica back and send the inhabitants back to africa to enjoy their new riches! A whole country for a snip of a price.
