Or been involved in battle even as a civilian. You have nothing to compare that horribleness to. Your mind can't flashback to a moment in your life when you watch a friend, step on an IED, or get hit by a spray of gunfire, just walking a perimeter. Hell, most people don't even experience your child being killed by these nutbag mass shooters. Other countries sometimes live that fear every day. We're a pampered country. Not all of us. But a hell of a lot. So when we vote for people to represent us in government, honestly, we should be able to curb their behavior more than every 6 or 4 years. But anytime they screw up. Because just like the supreme Court, they don't seem to be able to curb each other.

  3. I'm still so,, disgusted if he gets another 4 years. Because it will put the lowest bar ever on a president winning a second term. It's been like a prize, to a president to win a second. The novelty will be dashed against the rocks if a slug like thrump, wins another round. And the world will probably never trust us again. I know i wouldn't.   8. Because it's not JUST, the price of eggs. It's many, many things. But trust me. If whatever trump could do, to get prices down. It would mean, less humane treatment of producing animals. You can,,,give animals better life conditions, charging a dollar more for eggs, and then give low income folks food vouchers for price hikes. Same with fuel. You don't want to regulate prices? Then give low income people ways to afford, the higher prices. It can be done. For some reason, government doesn't want to do it.

  17. I'm no Trump supporter by any means. But I've always givin him the benefit of the doubt as being racist. As in black,white etc. I have always called what he has as classism. Financially based. I think he'd be happy entertaining anyone, long as they have big enough financial backing. But he surely does show a great deal of indifference towards anyone not well off. I think he's just a jerk.

I just reread and fixed typeos, but honestly believe if people don't become complacent, and our elected folk, show some gusto and put out the facts, we can maintain the slight majority we have now. I truly think trump is waiting to see if they take back the Senate and house before he commits to running again. Someone said, his ego wouldn't take another loss, and if the odds are against him in 2024, he probably wouldn't run. But if they take the house and senate, he's almost sure to try. For the life of me, I cannot see the reason for his popularity to voters. It truly doesn't say much for a great minority of the country. Sorry to say.

I made a comment about my brother and my son having had strokes within the last year and a half and the fact they both have come back to around 95% or better and she agreed. But when I stood up for John Fettermen being able to do what's needed to be a senator, she said yes but, and then the usual right wing talking points. She still says Biden is a pedophile and she won't do what he says in an official capacity. So yes, the people you least expect could be a trump cultists, believing every word he spews.

  30. Ya wanna know the real problem with fla and hurricanes? Greed! It's like living on an island. We stick out into the water, between the Atlantic and the gulf. The developers and real estate thieves pushed and pushed to build homes, mobile and conventional in the damn swamp. Grasslands in southern central Florida. All low and flat. Hurricanes choose paths of least resistance, for most part. So depending on where they come ashore, results in how much damage is going to be caused. Go back and see speeds and strengths of past hurricanes. They're all deadly over water.. it's like a semi, speeding down ur street. If he turns into your yard, your house is toast and depending on direction, your neighbor gets some too. It just is where it makes landfall to damage inland is. That area of Florida is low and relatively flat. Storm surge is relative to elevation. Chancey construction dictates what will survive and what will get ruined. Thats why New Orleans was an emergency waiting to happen. Same with the way they used the land here in fla. You build on a swamp. You gotta build better or it's a roll of the dice. So when people like Desantrump get all... like he cares. You have to have restrictions and codes and forethought,, before looking at the revenue. That's what past and present leaders don't always do. So we have yearly disasters from storms just looking for those weak spots in the idiot, greedy real estate developers ideas to make millions and walk away.

  47. Hey David, I know you won't read this but, what do you think about the possibility this is a ploy. Trumps nutball story telling? A ploy to get him out of his legal cases? Oh, you can't convict a person going through some kind of emotional breakdown. Or, a way to avoid the debates. Oh, he's having a mental or emotional breakdown. Temporary of course. Due to, his real painful issues about the trial and how it's causing a huge rift. In his marriage. He didn't realize how much she would be affected by finding out these things about other women. Sympathy ploy. And the weird rants are temporary mind jugglers. So understandable. But we're sure he'll be just fine, by October and of course November. I do not put anything past these people.
