@ROM-ry9ij it's not necessarily so. Is what I meant
1
@ROM-ry9ij change in and of itself isn't good, it's stressful and humans aren't well suited to it. Even beneficial change is only beneficial if it's gradual. Change for its own sake is strictly negative and damaging. For change to be beneficial the end goal must be known to be net positive and it's graduation carefully implemented. One of the biggest problems humans face is the rapid pace of aggregation of technology the last 200 years. We are not well suited to it and the cracks are showing
1
@ROM-ry9ij we are headed in a bad direction. The west is crumbling and it is THE purveyor of freedom and humanity on earth. A world without the democratic west will be a very bleak place

After decades of indoctrination, repression and miserable conditions, too often it's unfortunately become the case. That's who he's trying to talk to.

@Nostalgiagate6392 nope. Egypt and Syria were massing troops and equipment at the border. Egypt them blockaded the straits of Tiran, which is an act of war. Israel's suprise attack followed. It always amazes me how willingly the hate Israel crowd will bend every fact to suit their agenda. A more dishonest group of people I have never met.

1. That's not what he's addressing here. You know it, so you're being willfully obtuse in support of your pet cause. 2. If you think those things are totally unrelated then youve been misinformed about the history here. Islamist Jihadists stoked by their leadership on the orders of Soviet backing is WHY they do not have a state, and is WHY the borders are now closed after having been wide open for 30 years, which benefitted everyone except the jihadi leadership and their Soviet backers. The jihadis got their way. And kept getting their way. And that society is more radicalized now then it's ever been. So yes, social attitudes have had a big role to play in the lack of sovereignty these people suffer. If you want it to change stop allowing blame to fall elsewhere as it only emboldens the jihadis who wrecked it all for everyone in the first place.

@oxix8323 no.

Another superb video. Thank you PragerU.

@neuropete1 So instead of taking the argument apart on its merits and offering your alternative, you slap a judgemental label on it and attempt to make others afraid to consider it for fear of personal judgement. nothing at all to do with the argument. Talk about lame. Typical. And lame.

@jz2jnz I'll check it out. Thank you. One thing I'll say is that you can imagine the decision to drop the bomb was not taken lightly. I'm wary of reenvisioned history designed to paint the West in the worst possible light, I recognize the popularity of that among so many in the West(suicidally). I'd be very careful of what you find on YouTube. Not saying this is that, just an FYI. I'll check it out-thank you.

You're narrowing it too much. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all consider homosexuality a sin. But no Christian or Jewish nation is killing and imprisoning them in this day and age. Most Muslim countries do. Sin or not, homosexuality exists and those people need to be protected. Prager U is trying to sort out one of the oddest phenomenons among the israel hate fetishists, the queer Israel hater. In Israel gays have full rights and protection under the law. It suggests the bully human rights abuser narrative about Israel is missing something. As its of particular interest to gay people, he addressed them with it directly. That's the story.

@markaxworthy2508 this is exhausting. Just one point for now. I'm too tired. You forgot about the 800k to 1 mil jews violently expelled from mid eastern and North African countries once Israel became a state. Nobody talks about them. More later if I can stomach it. Hey, why only Israel? Why do you spend so much time and effort arguing to delegitimize it- alone, and no other place on earth? And, do you really think the world would be better off with yet another authoritarian islamic dictatorship to go with the 55 others rather than the pluralistic, diverse, first world democracy that currently exists there? You really want to destroy Israel and cast all its Jews around the world again for that? No there are no Jews in the PA. Not one. A Jew takes his life in his hands just by walking into Area A or the wrong part of Area B. There are zero Jews in the government of the Palestinian Authority. Unlike the Israeli Knesset which is 20% Arab.

Go get em. Im disgusted by youtube.

If militia groups ever exacted a toll on American troops, and we know that they did, and if they were equipped by Iran which you admit that they were, there is your answer. Thank you for your service though your comment makes me wonder if you are just saying that for the purposes of your comment.

God bless you Sir!

paperplane-db8qf Arabs made up the last Israeli government. It's a matter of public record. Why don't you look it up? An Arab judge sentenced a former Israeli pm to prison. Look it up. What's the matter with you?
1
paperplane-db8qf yeah I added Gaza by mistake since that's the usual go to.
1
paperplane-db8qf Hamas is of course in Judea/west bank. It's everywhere. Many of their leaders grew up there and still live there. It's durisdiction is Gaza but it operates all over the place. Israelis don't break up peaceful protests with live fire. That's propeganda. However Hamas does. You can see footage of it. Anything Hamas does speaks to its charter, which aims to destroy Israel and kill all Jews in the name of 'islam'. So nothing it uses as an excuse for its violence is valid, whether it actually happened or not.

@TheCatsMeoooow Palestinian Israelis aka Arab Israelis are fully integrated in Israeli society and not 'apart' in any way. Palestinians in disputed territories are not citizens so have no defined rights inside Israel. There is not aparthied however as they own land and have access to schools, jobs, etc. There is the myth of aparthied, this is anti Israeli propeganda, and it's important to ask if your outrage extends to any of the zillions of other hotspots and conflicts around the world right now, or if it's only Israel on which you focus and boil. 5 million. Dead in DRC. Millions dead in Syria. Massive torture and death in Iran. Afghanistan. Lebanon a failed stats due to Hezbollah. 3 million Muslims interred in China. Etc etc. Israel is a dot on the map in all possible ways. But is it all you focus on? Then the problem is with you.
1
That's not what happened here. However that's what the Arabs wanted and have attempted to do several times over. Its specifically written into the charters of Hammas, Hizbollah and Fatah in fact. Had they won at any point you can be sure theyd be giving none of it back. They won't even let them have what they have.

@patrickbuchler686 so 4 more Israelis shot today. Another stabbed a week ago and then a shooting rampage two weeks before that. Does amnesty international have anything to say about it? 'lol' Or human rights watch? Whose own founder came out in opposition for the direction they'd taken and for their selective outrage about Israel?. Bupkiss, as usual. Fair? Unbiased? They rarely comment on how horribly Palestinian leadership treats their own civilians, which is the REAL source of Palestinian suffering. Dont believe me? See mosab Hassan yousefs speech before the un to get a sense of it. To say nothing of the corruption, leaving regular Palestinians with just a few hours of electricity a day, issues with water etc while leaders of Hamas and Fatah enjoy 200 $ meals in Turkish restaurants and lavish lifestyles from misappropriated millions from international donations to the Palestinian people. THAT is a human rights crime. Life is good as a 'freedom fighter' which is why none of their leadership would ever agree to a state. THAT is a human rights crime. (Of course Hamas etc is committed to the violent destruction of Israel so they'd never agree for that reason.) Spare me. Look into it closely enough and you'll see. .I'm sorry to burst your bubble.

@keithiverson2644 if they were conquored off their land and according to you conquored to get it back, why are you only upset about their recovering it and not their losing it? Anyway they didn't conquor their way back, some never left. Many bought their land from ottomans when they opened it up for purchasing to raise money. Many immigrated. The nations were later asked to share the land once the Ottomans and the Austro Hungarians were finished. The Jews accepted, the Arabs didn't. The Arabs lost the war they started. That's it. Then over and over. This case should long ago have been closed.
1
@patrickbuchler686 good, there is.
1
@poorindiansanddogsarenotal1276 'you Muslims' don't plan to stop at Israel, whose Jews and state were there for thousands of years before Islam existed. You plan to do to the entire world what you did to Africa and the mid East in 680. To kill everyone who isn't interested.
1
user-my2yb3yj7w neither have most of the Arabs.
1
@casebased8391 yes I know and agree..Jewish self determination ended when the Romans destroyed their state. I was referring to the situation under the Ottomans. I'll go back and reread my post to make sure I didn't mess that up. Thanks for the notice.
1
@casebased8391 you're right it was unclear. I corrected it. Thank you.
