  2. I want to live at our time, but where humanity is legally required to be better-dressed (sort of like the Harry Potter meets steampunk). I don’t want it to make people feel uncomfortable or pay a fine, but if there were like a Consensus that in “this cafe” you’d come in dressed a certain way to make everyone feel like we’re in a certain fantasy - people would just play along… no “green passes” or fines needed… Where women’s drinks are chocolate milks, men’s are robust, complex coffees, and where women and men can only enter coffee shops only if fancy dressed, meet a fascinating guy, share their favorite flavors with each other and then proceed to have amazing cakes and fine meats later. I mean actual meats, not sexual references. I’m actually more old-fashioned on that subject and I love times of abstinence much more than times where we had “tinder”… In fact… now I wanna start a tea club like that… Sad fact: coffee shops were the places where Lenin and Hitler developed their evil ideologies… but then again.. that was before milk was introduced to coffee and I can totally imagine how a mellow kinda guy would be paid with caffeine to give a speech and end up screaming about the proletariat or killing Jews after the 10th espresso. Is that all the 20th century actually was…?

I’ll be honest with you, I’m extremely apprehensive about May Day and some other pagan holidays because lately it’s been discovered that many Reich and highly influential people pushed them to be celebrated more and more because they basically worship themselves as the Greek and Roman gods and they even have some crazy rituals attached to their celebrations. So I stopped appreciating these celebrations as much as I used to… Then again, never forget that the Satanists of today come from the puritans. Alister Crowley became a satanist because he was deprived of every pleasure in life and lost his entire mind.

  18. I didn’t know the poor were treated worse than the criminals even then. It’s insane how nothing in history ever changes and how much the rich have always hated the poor, from the beginning of history until today. They had “special use” for the criminals, so they’ve treated them a little better, the poor, however, have always been canon fodder in wars, lab rats in sickness and a herd for “thinning out” the rest of the time. The sooner we all realize this - the sooner we would have the chance to change something. I’m not a fan of any porridge, but I assume that anything with salt and butter in it, and boiled in clean water, would taste amazing to anyone who’s hungry. I was totally shocked when I visited Dublin in 2016 and learned that McDonald’s offer McPoridge for breakfast. Not just because I hated porridge much more then that’s I do now, but especially because McDonald’s in America serve maple-bacon-stuffed pancakes for their breakfast menu and the contrast was just WAY too weird.

  23. I don’t understand why it matters that the storyteller didn’t know what that chef got drunk on. How would someone who never set foot in the kitchen would know what the cooks drink. If you get mugged on the street by a drunk, are you lying unless you know exactly what the mugger was drunk on?

Queen Victoria was a complete pleb in terms of the fact that all she wanted to do was sleep with her husband, the king.. she even claimed that she hated being pregnant all the time but that was the price of being so horny. I mean.. other than imagining a lot of ugly people sex and many neglected kids who in this case, at least, had servants as caretakers (which explains a lot about the royals today…)… basically, what im saying here is… im not sure how much the Queen’s teatime mattered to her other than not being hungry or have morning sickness… but im sure Queen Victoria was one of the coolest members of royalty simply because she never stopped enjoying the simplest things in life.. Also, I LOVE simple sponge cakes, especially vanilla and chocolate and vanilla, but I’m not a fan of English desserts.

  28. The fact there’s no egg in the batter blew my mind.. Also, how is this batter any different from pitta bread? I assume that if you put it in the pan without the oil, it would turn into a pitta… But I failed miserably at making pittas at home and all I remember is the black smoke that filled the ceiling as I was looking at the pancakes, waiting for them to puff up… Then finally, one of them did, and I ate burned bread and was sad. Lol

Does anyone know the difference between an electric horse and an electric donkey? 😂 I kinda happen to like herbal liquors… which is very unlike me, as someone who usually likes to hide her alcohol with sweet sour and bubbly. I remember growing up in soviet Russia, the first time my grandpa bought “seedless grapes”. It was a whole thing.. it was called “kishmish” and it was so cool not having to spit out the seeds as a kid who was sensitive to textures and aftertastes… lol. Then we moved to Israel and discovered the abundance everyone calls a regular day at the supermarket. People just don’t understand communism. Bananas were the rarest thing ever..

  47. I completely forgot there were actually rinette(?) apples. As a kid in Russia, we had rinette apple trees growing all over our neighborhood. The apples were SO GOOD!!! I didn’t eat much as a kid, and Russia either didn’t have any fruit at all, or had awful excuses for fruit, so finding small (child-size), ripe, mildly sweet apples directly from the tree was like heaven. I will never forget picking them straight from the tree and eating. Back then the only “fruit” available were bananas like twice a year (which I LOVED!!!), and an insane array of berries. Sometimes we had persimmons that would give you such dry mouth that I’d go throw up straight after and watermelons that gave me a stomach ache for some reason… So these apples were AMAZING and I miss them. They’re definitely not like normal apples. It’s also one of very few good memories I have from my abusive mom. 🥲
