In that case - you REALLY need to find his channel, he’s making a series on Iceland as we speak, his channel is amazing (he even made that “thunder read joke”) and he’s also talking about how they’re using volcanic energy to power their greenhouses. Yes and no.. usually I’m pretty indifferent to it, sometimes I just crave it like crazy, but other times I just think it’s silly and definitely not something I’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant… BTW, Japan is losing it with everything jelly. I just received a shipment of Japanese sweets in a box and they just casually added “cherry blossom jelly” in an entire bag… I threw it all out.. it was SO WEIRD!!! But coincidentally, there was also a bag of peach-flavored jelly hearts, which were AMAZING 😍

  28. These potatoes are so sad.. Some pretentious chef decided to cut them too small, for the gimmick, and they lost the outer flavor… So sad seeing you throw them into the pan.. The whole idea of whole potatoes is that they cook in a ton of salt and in their skins… instead they ended up being sad, round fries… Damn pretentious chefs… And I pray the sirloin steaks actually needed a sauce (let alone a glaze AND a sauce…).

When the Israelites didn’t have time to let their doe rise it was a whole thing that turned into a holiday with matzo, so it shows that even the Israelites, who were slaves, weren’t used to eating flat bread… food for thought.

  31. All pronunciations are correct, but you have to know the geographical origin for them. If you’re talking about Rome, you have to use the Roman Latin pronunciation. It’s like if you said “I ain’t afraid of no ghost” and claimed that it’s actually British English pronunciation because English originated in Britain.

(Also, have you tried making this fish pudding recipe without salting the living crap out of the water?). SHUBA, is made with salted oily fish (mackerel or Matthias), topped with potatoes, eggs, other stuff and beets. If you make it right - it’s an acquired taste. BTW, my favorite part of any fish are the cheeks, the eyes and the brain (fish heads in general 😍), and the ikras (eggs), or that thing males have instead… I forgot what it’s called, provided it’s not bitter, and also, that part of the tail, right before the end, especially if it’s salted fish, because then it’s chewy like jerky. 😍. No one cares. Lol.

  37. Sometimes I’m sad thinking about how the lower classes were treated in the titanic, even all the way after their deaths.. but nothing has really changed today. It’s just that most people don’t know it. There’s a lesson here that those who trust Pfizer won’t learn. Imagine being paid (or even just ordered) to block the exit for your fellow employees, so the people who don’t care if you live or die as long as their food and drinks arrive on time, can get off first. And the only reason this worked is because the people who were in charge of the “lesser” employees were made to believe they were actually better. That’s how the entire class system works to this day. That’s how you get a miserable government employee of the CDC to implement shady protocols on someone they don’t like or just never met before. Will people ever learn before another 20 million are dead??

Step 2: practice telling all your f Emily members this is in the oven for so long on purpose, yes… no… please don’t touch or open… not yet… and prepare to possibly be voted off the island by your roommates/family for hogging the oven and wasting electricity for so long. (Seriously, when I used to slow-cook before getting my pressure cooker I used to prepare for WWIII lol 🤣 but the tender tendons were so worth the war…). Also: that moment when you put an entire goat into a Volcano pit to cook it with garlic and herbs for a week, but the vein has shifted and you end up feeding bugs. Lol.

  47. I tasted samosa in Israel. They made the version without the baking powder. If you like it crispy it’s nice but what they do is soak it in Dahl and so the idea is probably that the samosa remains dry and totally sealed like instant tortalini, but once you put a sauce on it and soak it in it it tastes like huge meat raviolis. I had an Uzbek friend whose favorite food was Uzbek samosa. Her eyes would glaze over when she talked about samosa from her childhood, so I get it.

The food you described eating on the cruise ship… I don’t care how much you pay me, if I live on hotdogs and French-fries, I’ll get depressed, stop eating and either start paying for my meals (which would take away from my salary and we all know how much musicians are paid in the first place), or quit. I tried working in a hotel’s entertainment staff and the cherry on top of the fresh hell that it was, was when they marched us down to the employee cafeteria to feed us sad pasta, a washed chicken and some other sad scraps… then they gave me a bed in a 4 person room and asked us not to intermingle with the guests(not use the same entrances, bathrooms or elevators.. and it was at that second that I just literally took the next bus home. But considering how the families of the dead crew members were treated, I see not much has changed…
