While @Jimmie Jay Bohorn is passionate about his defense of and support for Ketanji Brown-Jackson for SCOTUS, there is no intellectually honest exchange for his part. There are some brief excerpts lifted from WIKI about Ms. Jackson's scholastic achievements, but when posed with very legitimate concerns as to why she fails the requirements of occupying SCOTUS seat, he changes the subject to ...."The GOP is Racist..." "Such and such senator voted to suppress the black vote" and various other things irrelevant to the topic at hand. . Now, there may be a conversation to be had on those topics, but they are not and should not be part of the discussion here, because they have nothing to to with the subject at hand. When @Jimmie Jay Bohorn's own quotes from comments in this thread are not only given with full context, but bring direct challenge to why Ms. Jackson is objectively NOT qualified for SCOTUS... Jimmy's response is, and I quote again "That ain't accurate, Boy! [imoji of child]". When challenged a second time to show me where / how I am inaccurate, we get the next ideologically possessed response ..... "It is a fait accompli. Stop exposing your racism. Move on, bud!". Jimmy is not only unwilling to address legitimate questions about statements he has made, but since he now has nowhere he can go to avoid exposing his own hypocrisy... he then drops the "racism" card. Of course, the "racism" card is the absolute 100% go-to for those possessed in this way, because, as we know, one cannot ask legitimate questions and / or have an intellectually honest exchange when the person who is being discussed is black... and NOT be a fundamentally racist attack upon the character of that person. . Back to the reason mentioned, atop this comment. How would it be possible to negotiate a "peaceful divorce" when THIS is a textbook example of whom it is we would need to enter into such negotiations? Jimmy, as well as all of those on the ideologically driven Marxist / post modern left who claim to be "Democrats", are not willing to engage in a debate / discussion / conversation, when presented with facts, logic, reason and objective reality. It is because EACH one of those arguments falls under the heading of "my truth" to such an ideology, there is no "good faith" that can be reciprocated from the ideologically possessed position of those who would lay claim they should be chosen to negotiate for that "Peaceful divorce". . Now tell me, Mr. / Ms. internet reader... beyond the many reasons I could give why a "Peaceful divorce" is simply not a possibility, how would we EVER get to a negotiated agreement, when THIS is the way in which negotiations / debate / conversations are held? Answer... we could not! . I wish I could say that this thread was fruitful, in that maybe I would learn some legitimate reasons to re-consider my lack of support for Ms. Jackson, but sadly... this was not to be. While my purpose to engaging in such discussions, is not simply to state my opinion, but to learn, it is Jimmy's goal to "win an argument". For I do not consider myself as "always in the right" or always correct about all of my positions, so I am forever open to and continually seek challenges to my assumptions / positions, so as to make sure I am not blindly supporting an idea / person, with an ill-informed or from an ideologically driven position. While I am certainly far from perfect, I always have and will continue to challenge what I think and why I think it. . While It is not likely Jimmie Jay Bohorn would be on the opposite side of such a "Peaceful Divorce" negotiation table, it is the same intellectually dishonest, inherently deceitful and bad-faith manner in which those of us who are sincere, would need to address at that table. For when THIS is the response we get when attempting to move forward and get beyond the inevitable collapse of all Western World societies at the hands of this ideologically possessed and self-described "tolerant left".. nobody stands a chance!
