Pole Barn Garage would go crazy over that old Ford he loves those things with their big blocks
18
Same here i subbed to him because of that Fury Wagon and that Tonka truck he was working on

@crforfreedom7407 No one will restore the thing you high? It's a good worker that you can move dirt with. some guy has a plot of land looking on doing dirt work can buy that and get it done and save money on renting one or hiring someone. but the thing is not worth restoring but it's worth getting work done. I started my company on old cheap equipment just like that.

Yeah I'm sure that's total BS because everyone that owns one and knows what they are know they are great engines and boats Chrysler was a big seller in the 60's and 70's of inboard and outboard motors. I have been around boats all my life and everyone I know of the old guys know that Chrysler were great runners. I have two of them a 20hp and a 115hp and they run like a top and get bugged all the time to sell them

@scottgibbs7235 I agree I like VVG but I like guys that don't have to put on a act and try to be funny just be normal
4
A set of headers and aftermarket intake will for sure give it more power and porting the heads would help it too.
4
I doubt you will get that thing running with a plug out for who knows how long and the rain would of been leaking from the hood right into the last piston holes that is why the farthest back plugs were hard top get out compared to the other ones closer to the front and then the carb was wide open with no air box protecting from anything getting into it. That thing is hit the only way to get it going is to pull the head and use lot`s of heat and lube to bust those things loose.

Sorry but you don't know what your talking about chrysler motors are not junk your just a idiot that don't know what your talking about at all
3
Yeah Chevy made the Spirit Of America cars in anticipation of the United States bicentennial in 1976 they had the Impala, Nova, El Camino. I always thought it was funny that they did the 1974 cars instead of the 75 or the 1976 cars but that's GM for you but I know many company's were big on America's birthday unlike today where it seems everyone hate America and wants to erase history and rewrite it the way they want it as anyway the Spirit of America cars are supposed to be rare but that's only in mint condition or all original condition still.
3
I would of loved to seen that place back in the day when it was new it would of been cool to see it then and now
3
Got some CCR on and some Hank Sr right on man got some good taste in music I must say
3
Those reindeer are awesome I love how she did the tails those are so cool
3
That's too bad about that first Suburban those early ones have a nicer look in the front end compared to the late 70's and 80's but you gotta do what you gotta do at least you got some money back from it instead of losing everything on it
3
That was awesome! I was LMAO when you were turning the prop and vinegar was shooting a far distance reminded me one time getting a engine unstuck and covered the whole side of my parents garage wall with ATF but what a score that thing is and Can't wait for part 2 and Speaking of Cleetus Mcfarland tonight's the Freedom 500 are you watching it or what and what do you think about that LS Lambo for the winner
3
That's bad ass I use to have a 1971 and a 1973 Monte Carlo the 71 had a 454 big block it was blue with black interior and the 73 I had was white with black interior that had a 350 small block till I blew it up and put a big block in it anyway that car is bad ass
3
Now that's some scrap iron if I never seen it before LOL!
3
Damn that thing is crusty it's too bad because they are a sweet car when solid the Javelin and the AMX and the AMC Machine are all 1960 Muscle cars from AMC even the Rebel was a cool car too. I use to live down the road from a AMC dealer back when I was a kid in the 1980's I use to go and check out all the cars they had there back then it was the Spirit and the Eagle all wheel drive cars at that time but there was classic AMC cars all around the place
3
It's Fred Flintstones Jeep A Yabba Dabba Do!! LOL!! It has no floor in it lol
3
That night shot at the end what is that Philly or NYC it looks cool here in Canada the only city that looks col at night and Big is Toronto but I'm a couple hour drive from that S hole and I like staying away from it now days since it's nothing like it was when I was a kid or a teen
3
yeah you gotta watch out messing with big blocks that have the back brakes locked up it's real easy to break the engine mount with all the torque they have I done that before
3
I would not go changing the oil and all that stuff until I heard the engine running. Imagine spending a boat load of money on the engine before you fire it up and then once you fire it up it has a big rod knock or something it would be a big waste of time and money that is why you should get it going before spending any money on it.
2
That truck is in very rough condition I would not spend money on that thing the box might make a good storage box but then again it has wood in it and will rot over time I think it's worth fixing up and 3 grand is too much in my opinion I think it's worth a thousand bucks tops.
2
If I was you I would clean that fuel take better then you did. I would of removed the tank and clean it really good removing the pickup/ sending unit and make sure the tank is really cleaned. If the tank is leaking Seal All is a great product to seal fuel tanks I have used it on some really rotten tanks that was leaking right around the seam and it sealed it good. The fuel filter you use is not good they leak and great at causing fires. many of classic cars have burned because of it your better of using a plastic filter as long as it's not sitting on the engine or exhaust it's a lot safer then that glass filter that are known to leak.
2
I agree everyone don't have to be a VVG This Channel is awesome I like all the awesome cars on here that Fury Wagon is awesome the Chevelle is awesome the tonka truck and the 5 ton is awesome too. There is just so many and I like the longer video's I think they are better than short ones Mortske Repair is another channel I love watching too every monday morning
2
Damn that Coronet was a RT too its too bad it was in such bad shape but it's worth restoring for someone being a RT model
2
I would not even worry about the fake pin stripe it looks great as is. I'm surprised that thing come out as good as it did.
2
Tell buddy to put some dryer sheets in the car the mice don't like the smell and will evict them it's too bad they allowed the car interior to get messed up by the mice because the interior is mint in that car and would of been if stored properly but dryer sheets will scare the bastards off
2
Stainless works has nice stainless header and they are lifetime warranty they are a little expensive or they sell a kitt that you can build yourself but you need to really tig weld them to do them right or if you don't go stainless ceramic coated headers are the next best thing and will last lot longer and keep your underhood temps down. Sandersons makes good Ceramic coated headers I had a set and they lasted me a long time and as long as you don't scrape the ground the ceramic will last a long time
2
18 bucks for a rotor? Damn that is highway robbery. Prices for things are totally getting out of control I hope the right person get elected or the prices are going to continue to raise Trump is the man
2
You still got the Mustang in AZ too don't you? it's too bad that camper is not that great the engine in it are one of the most reliable engines and parts are easy to come by and cheap.
2
10 seconds in the 1/4 is fast I guess that why the XR1200 is the fastest Harley
2
The car looks like it had a paint job not long ago so how much of the car is solid and how much is plastic filler and patches. That's the thng about buying a old car that has newer paint it means it could be hiding lot's of rust and stuff that you don't know about and being how old it is and where the car is from I'm sure it's hiding lot's of nasty secrets.
2
Yeah Made in Japan is a good thing it's the Made in China you gotta watch out for but there is not many things that came from Japan that was junk. They make good stuff in all things they do from knives ,electronics, cars and bikes they got that down to a science
2
That Suburban you got are one of the good ones with the barn doors on the back instead of the tailgate one's. The great thing about them is that you can get all the parts interior and exterior so you can fix them right up to be new again i'm sure if you keep it the weather stripping will be the first thing that get's replaced. I think one of them with a Cummins or a Duramax diesel would be awesome in one of those and would be able to tow anything with it too.
2
Nothing on that truck should be metric. That truck is so old Metric was not even anything back then it was all standard size
2
My old boss had a 1967 2 door Cadillac and he would make me drive it to his house all the time it was a real cruiser and it was fully loaded with everything working but it was a big barge to park. They should make everyone learn how to parallel park in one of those cars because if you could park it you be able to park anything.
2
LMAO!!! The girlfriend comes out asking how your doing and present her a hand full of crap from the bottom of the door LOL!! That's something I would do LOL!
2
Chris is a licensed mechanic not one of those shade tree mechanic that could be why
2
Damn the floors are really good in that car for it's age and what part of the Country it's in is a big surprise that thing is not bad at all the interior is really nice too once all the mold was cleaned off. Someone painted the interior black but other then that the interior is really great shape too. You really scored a nice solid car man congrats.
2
Ole Mortske and Duff would love that truck. He's in love with those square body trucks. lol!
2
LMFAO!! That is the funnyiest shit I have seen in a while out on the jetski in winter and hopping on a snowberg and having a fire and a beer LOL! People that see you must think your on dope or something LOL!
2
@crforfreedom7407 What do you mean it runs and moves it's not new but it works and for someone that likes old equipment that is a diamond in the rough. That engine fired right up all it needs is some TLC that is all.
2
she has a 160 net HP at 3800 RPM LOL! she is no screamer to put it mildly. It's almost like a diesel engine makes all it's power at a low RPM but those old N600 Fords were not for speed when they have real low gearing to pull. I bet that truck tops out at 50 mph maybe 60 if you really push it but that's about it.
2
I'm loving these road trip video's it's awesome and I get to see parts of the Country I don't see everyday so that's cool. Glad the old Elco is still running
2
I wish i could find a deal like that but always too busy to find the deals and by then the flippers snag it up
2
I hate when people cut up the video's and turn one video into a month with 20 minutes an episode. Junkyard Digs is bad for that stuff I would rather have it long like this only NNSNH, Mortske Repair and Sleeper Dude are the only ones that keep them long like this and I like it.
2
You should of popped a main cap and see if the bearings are good or not
2
A awesome spray to stop rust is fluid film and it smells good too but it s a great undercoating to prevent rust
2
The more door nova LOL! I never liked those Nova's I always thought they had a ugly body. The Chevy Nova, Pontiac Phoenix, Oldsmobile Omega and Buick Skylark of the late 70's did not have a great look at all in my opinion
2
Yeah the old school traction bars work if you have them set up right but the caltracs are so much better I have that on my truck and my car and I don't get no wheel hop or anything they plant the tires and goes they are so much better than the old bump stop bars
