HA! ... So, we're going to hold people doing cover-up's about COVID-19 responsible, are we? ...Sure you want to promote that idea?
19
Surreal ... Even while claiming she would not lie, she lies.
18
As someone who have followed the science for decades now... It's really sad to see a major media-house propagate so misleading information as this. Patrick Michaels is grossly misrepresenting the science.
8
The dishonesty from Graham and Hannity... it's really appalling.
6
Are you thinking of the bribery or the emoluments? ... or the tax fraud? Or the violation of campaign financing laws?
4
If you want to do your best to make peoples lives better Charles, ... then pay for fixing the harm you've done to the climate by working to delaying action. Then maybe our grand children can foregive you.
3
Pence is impressively thorough in his lying.
3
Actually we're not. The way Republicans are willing to fabricate an alternate reality and claim up is down is immoral and appalling and threatening the future of the entire free world. This is not in any way funny.
3
Pence is a liar. Just like his boss. America is no longer a beacon for the free world. It's can't be when ruled by fact-free ideology.
2
+Alan Hartstein yep
2
The whole system (including all the GOP voter suppression) spells "banana republic".
2
DokktorDeth - so, given all this "credibility" on the behalf of Kavanaugh... why did he feel the urge to fabricate stories about drinking games and farts? ... and more importantly, why didn't he just say that he would wish for an FBI investigation?
2
DokktorDeth Ok... I don't get what was drivel. Anyhow ... I had the same feeling. Dershowitz must have watched a different hearing. Come on ... the repeated refusals to say whether he would request for an FBI investigation, - instead answering with attacks and questions back at the senators, going into tirades about how unfairly he felt - coupled with the strange answers to Sen. Whitehouse about "devils triangle" being a "drinking game" and "boof" being farts. ... not to mention the idea that you get to be president of the "Ralph" club for having a "weak stomach" (how many members with weak stomach did that club have?) ... and I almost forgot, that everybody in the "republican side" seemed to totally ignore the fact that Dr. Ford started this BEFORE he was nominated. None of the conspiracy theory makes sense, yet he started out with a tirade about them being bitter on behalf the Clintons. Are we really supposed to believe that Dr. Ford started planning this in 2012 to derail a nomination 6 years later? I call BS. I'm perfectly prepared to believe that "sober Brett" is a different man now don't feel responsible for or remembers what "drunk Brett" did, but some people just switch personality when they are drunk and I'm not going to buy the shameless partisan lying which has plagued this nomination to conceal any problem in his past.
2
Yeah... Lindsey... Muller spend a lot of time investigating the crimes Trump had commited BEFORE he finished his report. ... then Trump went out and committed ANOTHER crime the DAY AFTER Muller had testified. You got a weird idea of law enforcement if you think the time Muller took makes it ok to commit more crimes.
2
Ha ... A Devin Nunes aid. ... making popcorn.
2
It's strange how republicans think that if you just say "I'm not doing anything wrong" while committing a crime, then you are automatically innocent.
2
It's not hard to figure out why there's a difference. The difference is abuse of the office. Neither Hunter Biden or Joe Biden abused the office. Trump did. And no... it's not the phone call. It's also the overwhelming evidence from witnesses.
2
"If you disagree with the president's policies, run for president" That's good advice. Except... of course. George Conway should not take this advice. I would not want Kellyanne as first lady.
2
So... what is "the other side of this story"???? I didn't hear a single argument that Trump didn't extort a foreign government with US tax payer money for personal gains.
2
@paul.vulcon ok... yes... I wouldn't have been surprised if Devin Nunes had mentioned Benghazi at the hearing either.
2
I'll happily believe Broaddrick ... but this absurd idea of Bill's daughter being responsible for his actions... that calls her sanity at present time into question.
2
Except ... Why did Turley not say anything about that the REASON there's not the evidence he wanted is because of blatant obstruction of Congress from the president.
2
@asregdor3386 Yeah ... There's is no defense of the substance. There's only whining about the process. And even that is silly. The trial is in the Senate. This is not the trial. This is the investigation. Nobody gets to dictate the terms of their own investigation.
2
@diggocombs4548 I don't know Sregor.
2
Hearsay can be good evidence, depending on circumstances. That should not be controversial. What should be controversial, though is the claim of the host that you are not a first hand witness to a conversation which you can clearly hear in it's entirety, just because you are not the one having the conversation. It seems to me many people here have already decided which conclusion they want to arrive at, and that prevents them for accepting fact, understanding arguments and general objectivity.
2
@chitarra0302 I'll be happy to answer serious questions.
2
No ... but then... it's a good thing I don't do my own conclusions here. That's what we have the actual scientists for. All I can say here is that I'm pretty sure that if there had been an actual climate scientist in the studio they would have taken serious issue with the claims Patrick Michaels is making.
2
Strange how all this Trump people become "shady" as soon as they get indicted.
2
It's really pretty simple. The founders worried about foreign influence, so they explicitly put in the constitution that a president could (and should) be removed if he abused the office, by taking something of value from a foreign power in exchange for official acts. In this case the president actually pressured the foreign power in question into this bribe at the expense of US national security. Anyone thinking that is a trivial thing should stop lecturing others about the constitution and patriotism now.
2
... there's some really scary answers in this thread. How long is it now, since Trump said this was totally under control? That people got better just going to work?
2
@GaryWilson-dm6ub ... oh... maybe... stop lying, would be a good start.
2
Tucker Carlson is really a jerk ... Even O'Reilly was not that dishonest. It's nice Avanatti stands up to him, but ... I don't think the way he does it really raise the level of the conversation that much. Avanatti is right that the Democrats should nominate a fighter, but they way his own way of "fighting" does somewhat contribute to the name calling. He should have started out by pointing out the absurdity that the Federal government shouldn't be allowed to put surveillance on a suspected spy for the Russians just because he happened to be associated with the Trump campaign. Carter Paige was already long before the 2016 election under suspicion. They were just doing their job.
2
So ... I can't say much about the actual incident... but there's clearly some bad life choices here: 1) Showing up with a weapon to such a protest, 2) Taking Lin Wood as a lawyer, and 3) Going on Tucker Carlson.
2
"... an outstanding debater" ? Hey... I have an Eiffel tower I could sell cheap to that girl.
1
So again... why should we trust Koch over Bernie? Do we have the same goals? ... I want to tackle climate change before it steals the future of my kids. Does Charles Koch share that goal?
1
Americans are making a huge mistake if they do not elect this man for president. You might disagree with him on a few specific political issues (I do) ... but you won't get a chance to put a politician with that kind of integrity into office in many years.
1
Fox News created this fact-free obscene environment.
1
Yeah... Little Marco Low energy Jeb Lyin' Ted Corrked Hillary Crazy Bernie. ... and Chicken Trump
1
N Mil It seems to me your burp is based on the assumption that energy can only come from chemical oxidation of carbon. Is that your position?
1
N Mil Dear friend... I live in a country which is well under way with moving to alternatives. Meanwhile ... people like the Kochs (and their useful idiots) are doing what they can to crash the planet anyway.
1
N Mil Ehh... no thanks... I think you need to come out of your bubble. Many people I know won't even set foot in the US since George W was elected.
1
N Mil Another bubble. The people I'm talking about are highly educated engineers and IT professionals. Previously taking a few years working for a US company was something people considered. Now - people prefer to stay in Europe.
1
... since facts doesn't matter anymore.
1
Zika is a virus. Toxoplasma is a parasite. I smell calculated appeal to emotions.
1
Is it really that hard to understand that quid-pro-quo is latin for "bribery" ???? The accusation has been the same all along. ... Nunes is just gaslighting.
1
Thanks Cavuto. Now we're awating the RubinReport segment on how the right eats it self.
1
Oh, for f*ck sake... how many of these morally depraved people are there in the US?
1
Oh come on ... Whatever you think about Holder or Barr as persons or their political view... You cannot ignore that Bill Barr has made SEVERAL statements effectively saying that he does not actually believe in basic principles of liberty and liberal democracy. He basically argues that the President is above the law and he just said that people would not be equal before the law if they didn't "respect" the police.
1
@nath8282 It should be no secret to anyone that Barr has argued for a version of executive immunity, which includes that the president can't even be investigated. ... and that Trump's lawyers has in fact argued explicit that in court.
1
"If I don't like it, we don't take it up". Jesus... anyone who can't see that this principle is seriously flawed in a democracy, don't understand democracy.
