  8. The 44%?reduction in cases among the people who chose to take Ivermectin is likely because they are probably people who were more worried about getting infected. The 70% reduction in mortality is likely because this self selected cohort is more likely to care about their health than those who would choose not to take a pill to protect themselves. This is why double blind placebo control trials are importante. Then the placebo and medical arms of the trial are both the same types of people who would take similar other precautions.

It only means that they don’t notice the effect. I bet these asymptomatic cases are causing excess deaths. We really don’t understand the full long term impact that this virus has on our health yet.   15. Dr. Campbell is extremely confused. What is this efficacy against symptomatic disease compared to? There’s nobody left in the UK who are immunologically naive. Everyone is either vaccinated, or they’ve already been infected. That means everyone who’s unvaccinated already has immunity from prior infection by a previous variant. In January 98% of the population already had antibodies. It’s no longer possible to compare the vaccine efficacy with the immunologically naive in the United Kingdom. And if the vaccines appear to be even 30% effective, then that means that the immunity from vaccination is 30% better than immunity from infection. Dr. Campbell needs to learn how to use his brain, because he doesn’t understand what he’s talking about. It seems that most if his viewers are the same.

  18. Omicron symptoms in South Africa are mild because everyone there has antibodies already. They have either already been infected by a previous variant, or they’ve been vaccinated. At 16:00 in Dr. Been’s video it says that in the first 3 waves when the community infection rate reached 26%… https://youtu.be/3yvT3rm9GbE This means that the community infection rate exceeded 26% 3 times, which means that over 75% - 80% of the population had Covid already. Then, about 24% have been vaccinated. Over 90% of the population has antibodies. There could be some overlap between those 26% infected during each wave, but given that antibodies are very effective at preventing symptoms, there likely isn’t much overlap. Also in Oslo of the 120 infected at that party and the hotel that hosted it, none became severely ill meaning that the vaccines are very effective at preventing severe disease from Omicron. What we don’t know yet, is what happens to those who haven’t been previously infected or vaccinated and therefore have no antibodies. I’m sure we’ll soon find out.

So basically 77.5% - 79.2% of the population make up 87.4% of those with severe to critical disease while 20.8% - 22.5% of the population make up 12.6%. So about 88.15% -> 20.8% of severe illness while 21.15% -> 12.6% of severe illness. 12.6*88.15/21.15/20.8 = 2.52 This means that increasing your Vitamin D reduces your risk of severe illness by a factor of 2.52, or by around 60.4%. The vaccines reduce your risk by 90-95%. Why not take Vitamin D and get vaccinated?

Viruses do not evolve to be less lethal. Viruses are less lethal when we have antibodies. The previously infected and the vaccinated have antibodies. Antibodies work.   32. No. 95% fewer of those who are vaccinated are not getting Covid. Covid is a disease. Disease means you got sick. If you’re infected by the virus, and you don’t get sick, you didn’t have Covid. The problem here is that people do not understand this. 50% of the unvaccinated do not get Covid when they are infected by the virus. Because the vaccines are 95% effective at preventing Covid, 97.5% of the vaccinated do not get Covid when they are infected. If 19% of those with Covid develop long Covid regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not, then 95% fewer people who are infected with the virus will develop long Covid when infected by the virus.

  40.  @F2a0bi0an5o , In the United States 2/3 of those who are hospitalized have at least 1 comorbidity, and about 50% of the population has at least 1 comorbidity. This means that having no comorbidities reduces your risk of being hospitalized by around 50%. The vaccines are much more effective than this. Obviously it’s good to be healthy, but even if you’re healthy, you’re at significant risk of hospitalization. It would be prudent to get vaccinated as well.

Now that the US doesn’t like them because they are not allowing US oil companies to exploit their oil, the US has an embargo against them so they have no money to buy food. An even if they did have the money, the US wont let them buy food. Saw a video about a chicken farmer in Venezuela who couldn’t feed his 100,000 chickens because he couldn’t buy chicken feed. They have no local chicken feed production. Norway gets around this by subsidize Norwegian farmers. Venezuela shpuld have done the same thing before pissing off the United States. These embargos are economic warfare. It’s modern colonialism. It’s how the United States forces small countries to allow the US to exploit them.

After you have been vaccinated, and you have antibodies, exposure to sufficient viral load will still lead infection by the virus before antibodies are able to detect the virus, and the immune system has the opportunity to respond. That immune response is very likely to result in symptoms just like the the second dose of the two dose vaccine result in symptoms. This does not necessarily mean that the virus is destroying billions of cells in your lungs and elsewhere in your body. It just means your immune system is doing its job eliminating the virus so it doesn’t kill you.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Omicron being milder and everything to do with immunity from previous infection and vaccination being extremely effective against severe disease. We still don’t have a study comparing the severity of Omicron infection in the immunologically naive compared to the previously infected and the vaccinated that actually shows that Omicron is milder.
