  9. 1938 hmmmm? Another historian here. But I'll give you some credit - the USA was indeed a bit insouciant about European affairs pre-WWII, and lived to regret it. As to 1945, there was little the USA could do for Poland outside of going to war with the USSR.

But I still maintain the invasion of Poland was in 1939. As to the Battle of Stalingrad, the US was in fact in the war by that point, had already wrecked part of the Japanese fleet, and was slowly figuring out how to fight Germans in Africa.

It was a few years in the future and I was watching a news program about various weapons the US and NATO had armed the now at-peace Ukraine with. When it came to strategic weapons, they showed an array of Minuteman missile silos in Western Ukraine. Then we got to see inside one of the command bunkers, and who was sitting there serving as a training consultant, but Jake himself!

  47. If that is true that is great. And many years ago Pres Trump did admonish the other NATO countries that they needed to spend more on defense. I agreed with him on that, though I don't usually support the guy that much. He was proven to be correct - it's unfortunate it took the SMO to do that. If Trump indeed looks out for Ukraine then I imagine this channel will have no quarrel with him.
