$500k is what a doctor makes in like 5 years. His doctor is bad with money
1
There’s always a way to get guns. Australia has the luxury to not have to worry about illegal immigration, smuggling, ect. I know this because I live here. There is still gun crime, actually a Monty who there was a gang related drive by shooting.
1
The issue is the senate. Washington DC is full of very liberal people. It’s political from both sides Personally, I think it should remain not a state. In Australia we have our capital a it’s own territory. I believe that should be the norm (unless your capital is massive, like London)
1
The US offers the best higher education in the world. Why? Because these universities must compete.
1
Why do we care about student debt to much? Students signed the deals and now have to pay back what they borrowed.
1
How?
1
Will Budries but it’s not based off of anything concise. A 72 degree range is good enough for describing basic weather. Plus as Fahrenheit has no basis, large calculations are done mainly in Celsius.
1
You don’t need a licence to drive, you need one to drive on public roads.
1
coffee beans and? It’s not like he said he would date her. It was a joke.
1
Why not? Rifles are great for defence, not so great for attack. A pistol is much easier to conceal, and a lot easier to control. That’s why 80% of gun homicides are done with them. And again, what’s a hunting rifle? Every rifle is a hunting rifle.
1
Just because one looks scarier doesn’t make it more dangerous, case in point a AR-15
1
We didn’t have the technology “ages ago”
1
Michael Kagan no they haven’t
1
The us has been reducing it carbon footprint faster than any other nation, but we see other nations like china (who contribute more CO2 than any other country) continue to rise.
1
Simon Dahl it’s a bit unfair to compare per capita when Chiba has 4x the population. The point remains the same, China produces around 2x the CO2 of the us, and more than both the US and the entire EU combined - and while both the eu and the us have been reducing their footprint, Chiba is only accelerating. The industrial revolution happened 300 years ago. Yes China is starting to industrialise, but that doesn’t automatically excuse the CO2 they are creating. At the rate they are going, the entire world could stop CO2 emissions all together and still the world would not reach its climate target.
1
Simon Dahl tax cuts on all energy, but enforce a much higher carbon tax
1
Get people investing into renewables
1
Simon Dahl it’s my idea on how the us can continue to reduce its footprint without crippling the economy.
1
It’s not easier. It’s not more precise. What it is is more natural. But Celsius is more precise.
1
That’s for multiple reasons, doctors are paid less, the quality of care is lower, the hospitals are less “luxurious”
1
Meat has kept us alive this long
1
Because if your only reason for voting democrat is to tax the rich, you are greedy. You don’t deserve what they have, they put the work in to building a massive multinational corporation. Look at amazon, it delivers products worldwide extremely quickly and has hired over 800 thousand people.
1
Capitalism incentives innovation by rewarding those who innovate. Capitalism does none of that, and is why it just doesn’t work.
1
What?
1
0.85%? What’s the point?
1
Man you are truely a genius
1
Horsepower? Many cars show horsepower and kw. Inches (I believe) is because it sounds better What tf is a quintal? It is all based on the base-10 system
1
Hp is used in conjunction with kW. The only other imperial unit is inches for tvs and feet for measuring someones height (but centimetres is more common for height)
1
Zulhardika Rendy Permana because you can only trust someone as far as you can throw them. An unarmed nation is at the mercy of its government. It’s not that Americans are scared of their government, they’re scared that their rights and freedoms will be stripped. Like what we see in China, a completely unarmed population under a dictatorship rule. No privacy, no rights, no freedoms.
1
iamkulit1 CS it’s 2 clauses, one about militias and another declaring that the right of the people to own and bear guns must not be infringed. It’s pretty obvious the meaning, but still the left likes to attack it for any little leverage they can get to give the only power that the people have to the government.
1
Lol what?
1
$60 -$93 trillion, depending on the estimates and what actually happens in the final bill
1
By putting in that 30k investment you are opening doors. People with degrees still make 2-3x as much as people without.
1
Ian Erickson well it really is, but sadly this isn’t always the case. I’m a strong advocate for teachers to be able to conceal carry and protect our students
1
Aliens From PR didn’t see any republicans riot when Obama won... but when trump won those baby’s who call themselves Antifa took to the streets
1
It’s not more specific, quite the opposite. Celsius was made to standardise temperature.
1
We shouldn’t aim to make every time well off. People without a job shouldn’t be “well off”. People working a brain dead low effort job shouldn’t be “well off”.
1
Coming from where?
1
SS Robs the only problem is that it would take to long to remove the gun
1
My idea about it is that a countries capital shouldn’t have equal representation as it could lead to being to powerful.
1
coffee they are in the same territory.
1
coffee Washington is already home to the president and congress. There is already enough representation just by having these members of congress and the president live there.
1
coffee they live there, they can be influenced by the lobbyists, ect. The people of Washington do already vote for president, the Democrats want seats of parliament as well. Washington DC is already represented in the fact that they hold the Houses of Parliament
1
Affirmative action has lead to higher rates of college drop outs in black people.
1
The wealth tax is probably the worst form of tax as it actively discourages economic activity.
1
Jeff Bezos doesn’t make $11 billion a year. Heck he doesn’t make much money at all - all if it is shares in amazon.
1
Not only that, but if you own shares in YOUR OWN BUSINESS, like Jeff Bezos, you have to cough up a percentage. Jeff would have to pay $11 billion in wealth taxes a year... more than amazon even profits. He also doesn’t take dividends... he would have to sell his own business
1
They do...
1
You are in the perfect weight range
1
The average is 28.6 which is “overweight” so you are not “normal” but in a good weight range
