  8. Thanks for another beautiful video. It's interesting that you say that the number of cormorants has increased over the last 30 years. I was having a conversation with some neighbours last week and we were saying that there seem to be many more birds generally than there used to be - particularly crows, who seem to have got bigger and less afraid of humans! We are also seeing different species I think. The world is a changing place!

Manchester has changed so much over the years but those locks don't look very much different from 40-plus years ago. I hope you and Zephy enjoy your new coats.

  16. Thank you for another wonderful vlog. I was thinking about you this morning before I watched this. One of my daughters spotted a Syrian woodpecker at the top of a telegraph pole near where she lives. She says that the woodpecker comes every year but today, for the first time, she was able to take a photo and video. I thought that you would have liked that! However, we're around 5,000 miles apart from you! 🥰🥰

  18. I've just come to the end of my second viewing of this! There were so many distractions (phone, doorbell, etc.) the first time that I felt I had missed a lot. The second time was much better. Wonderful to see the wildlife - especially your little owl. Then Zephyr! She's wonderful! She knows exactly what she wants and goes all out to get it! She has such an expressive face.
