Russians aren't trapped there, cos Russia can make dozens of pontoon ferries and each can deliver up to 360 tons of ammo and equipment. It's a lot easier for Russia to supply their troops, than to Ukraine, because their pushed deeply in Russian lands, they are basically in cauldron, surrounded by 3 sides, while all their supplies are coming from few pontoon bridges that can be shelled at any moment
Btw, every Russian soldier in Ukraine signed the contract and can cancel it at any time. So everyone who's still fighting - wants to be there. Unlike Ukranian conscripts
