  10. Well, I don't know about 5-10 times more losses, but it would be much harder. Allies haven't sent much weapons (in comparison to what USSR produced), but 10000 locomotives were a GREAT help. Without them the USSR would have lost many people and horses while moving millions of tons of ammo, food and equipment to sustain the offensive of 10 million soldiers across Europe. I don't think it's fair to say that allies won ww2 only because of the USSR or that USSR would have lost if not for allies. It was a combined effort or millions of people across the globe and they all played their part, we should be thankful for their sacrifices. Modern politics shouldn't distract us from it, it's not a competition
