  12. .... the guy that got punched called him hundreds of miles out of his way by lying about his identity, tried to physically prevent him from leaving by barring him from exiting the hotel until the staff kicked him out, then chased him through the streets poking him with the bible and insulting him and a family member and refusing to let them leave despite repeated attempts to peacefully do so. This was AFTER, by the way, the same man harassed multiple astronauts to the point that Armstrong had to call the police because it had turned to stalking and trespassing. But you "truth seekers" aren't honest enough to admit those messy details. The funny thing is that the man who got punched got caught red-handed faking his "evidence" and editing footage to remove parts of it that outright disproved him and you zombies continue to believe him.

  14. Jason...... they DID point the camera at the sun on Apollo 12 by accident. It immediately destroyed the camera. Also, the take-off was filmed by the rover. The rover has a remote control camera turret on it, so Houston filmed it themselves by having a skilled operator lead the shot.

Witnesses claimed that Bart had attempted to physically prevent Aldrin from leaving until the hotel staff kicked him out and chased him poking him with the bible (meaning Bart would have struck first), then he stupidly showed the judge himself and the cameraman gloating over it so it was ruled that he had deliberately attempted to cause a breach of the peace. Note that this was about a year after Armstrong had previously called the cops on him for stalking and trespassing.

  21.  @fredjamison2693  Fred.... there's a law of physics called the Conservation of Momentum that states that the total momentum of a system (mass times velocity) remains constant unless an outside force alters it. This means that if an object ejects part of its mass in one direction, the rest of the object will accelerate proportional to the mass, speed and direction of the discarded mass so that Momentum A + Momentum B = Original. Rockets do not push on things. They achieve thrust through mass manipulating, and spewing exhaust alters the mass of the rocket, so by not altering velocity, you have violated that law. There is absolutely no way you would have gotten into engineering without knowing this. You would have to take physics as a prereq and this is half of the freshman midterm, so unless you slept with the teacher.... Fun fact, by the way, there's another quirk of physics you would have known had you done any fluid engineering called "choked flow" where a gas or liquid accelerates when it passes through a narrower opening. That's why rocket engines are shaped like hourglasses: because it causes the expelled mass to have a lot of momentum.

  25. .... but that 18 inches is while barely bending their knees in a suit that's over a hundred pounds. They're not going into the full crouch needed for a massive jump. First thing that Aldrin does after climbing down is casually jump waist height onto the ladder, miss his jump, then do it again so they can definitely jump more than 18 inches. Also, able and willing are not the same thing. If they jump 10 feet, miss the landing, fall on their life support and break it, THEY DIE!

Projectile motion is like... the most commonly used formula in physics. The amount of time it takes to fall is t = sqrt(2d/a)

There's no food, air, or water there so you'd have to import the basics for life sustaining constantly, at massive costs, until technology reaches the point that terraforming and hydroponics are reasonable. Aldrin is obviously angry about something, probably his feud with NASA over them cheating him out of being first man instead of Armstrong. Collins just looks like he's bored out of his mind.
