Russia militarily threatening South Korea is adorable. South Korea’s military is HUGE and extremely advanced.
318
Just hit over $2,000 in donations to Ukraine today. Slava!
314
Even Trump’s own audience barely applauds when he talks about Ukraine. They know what a liar he is.
303
Our Ukraine aid is de facto free: 85% of it was stuff we were PAYING to dispose of and was paid for decades ago. And it’s brought in so many new arms customers.
284
Russia is suffering so many high profile losses right now, they don’t even know which to lie about first.
223
A question I have is why are both the White House + media doing such a bad job/not even trying to explain that US/tax payers are basically not spending anything on military aid to 🇺🇦 . We have primarily sent old arms that were paid for in the ‘80s + were either retired/close to or already being disposed of at huge cost to us. It’s cheaper in many cases sending them to Ukraine. The aid package are given essentially inflated, imaginary dollar values to make us look good and gain political capital. They’re valuing them as if they’re new and not explaining the $ values assigned to those aid packages is not our actual cost. Better yet, those arms were paid for a generation ago and were intended for use against Russian equipment. We’re wiping out the military capacity of a country whose closest allies are Iran and China for zero blood and at less than 1% of our annual DoD budget. DPICM, SDBs + MRAPS were being disposed by the tons at huge expense, the ATACMS sent so far had been pulled from service for being expired, we don’t put our troops in ancient M113s, M777s have about a 5% chance of ever being used in any of the potential conflicts the DoD is concerned about and so on.
211
Estonia, whose GDP is 207x smaller than the GDP of 🇫🇷, 🇪🇸, 🇮🇹 yet they’ve givne more military aid than them. That’s pathetic!
166
I love this, but a small part of me is just sick knowing that the Orange Menace can change all of this in a millisecond. If you live in a swing state, make sure to vote and convince someone who might not be voting wrong to change.
145
The ship 🛳 is really hitting the fan for Russia.

Grippen is by far the most appropriate plane for Ukraine for two reasons in particular: 1. It is hard to explain how vastly easier it is to maintain from both a manpower and equipment standpoint. 2. It is designed to land and take off from highways, short or damaged, unpaved strips w/extremely tough landing gear as well as engine intakes designed for those type of runways which are more likely to have FOD (foreign objects and debris). This is critical because Russia can hit runways anywhere in Ukraine. They can also get spotters to alert them of launches. Meanwhile, the F-16 requires long, smooth runways (easy targets) and take tons of personnel and complex equipment to maintain and arm. The only problem is that there aren’t that many Grippens in existence while there are countless F16s.
130
Russia may not even make it to Jan. 20th without falling apart.
129
The mobilization never stopped. Also, the point of the Crimean raid was that it was part of a diversion that allowed Ukraine to take over more than 30 oil platforms in the Black Sea.
127
Ukraine didn’t have a single blackout despite the barrage. Interception rates are over 90% recently (73% yesterday due to the volume).
125
And here comes Moscow Mike Johnson to Putin and Trump’s rescue!
123
You need “Reporting from Ukraine” too since you’ve already had Perun, Anders, etc. too. He is one of the best. He’s in Mykoliav, has access to the front lines, AFU sources and clearly either has officer training or went to a military sciences college.
115
And the media is like “we’ll take your word for it.”
104
Block 1 ATACMS given were expired too. So, they were basically free. Americans need to understand the low cost/massive ROI our support has been yielding since day 1 (it’s shown China that invading Taiwan might be suicide and even a month of China at war with Taiwan and the US would lead to economic fallout of unimaginable scale) and all with arms that are essentially free or even saving us disposal costs (MRAPS, DPICM, SDB, etc.) as they were paid for decades ago.
93
I will be sick with anxiety and nerves until the aid’s passage is set in stone.
85
Ben Hodges is constantly advocating for Ukraine 🇺🇦 and I love it. Cost is not an important factor in providing ATACMS because their plan has always been, that if they give them, they will only provide a handful for big strategic targets. Other than that, the factors you named are surely calculated into their decision.
67
Just seeing JD Vance’s name in print nauseates me let alone seeing and hearing him. And now he’s VP. Vance is so bad, I even prefer Trump to Vance.
63
Seeing a memorial for an LPR commander at a bar get hit by HIMARS or Vilkha M at the same time a major Melitipol base got struck was too delicious.
63
He’s a coward and a traitor.
61
You actually can rescue bird and animals covered in oil. It’s just a very hard process and no you can’t just rinse it off. There are solutions to clean them. It’s really sad though cause we know it won’t happen.
58
Yes. Germany has been underrated. They’ve done more than all of Western Europe combined. Scholz’ position on Taurus is sad though and it was the Germans who got rich of cheap Russian gas, made Russia rich and advocated for them to be brought into global organizations.
54
Also, people are vastly underestimating Russian incompetence. Multiple cops were seen running away when they heard the first shots.
54
Multiple cops were seen on video running away when the first shots were heard. I think people are vastly underestimating 🇷🇺 incompetence and cowardice.
50
The stories of unity and morale in Ukraine actually make me slightly jealous. Amongst the horror, they’ve excelled and continued to produce beauty everyday from a busker playing violin on a dark street in Kiev to a teen in Mykoliav building custom drones for the AFU. Amazing stuff.
50
Wasting Russia’s entire economy and future too.
47
We can keep Ukraine in the fight by continuing to donate to buy them what they need. Eventually, politicians will be pressured into giving them what they need.
46
Russia’s ability to regenerate arms is coming to an end. Specifically, IFVs, MBTs, APCs, SPGs, artillery barrels + much more. Perun’s video last week goes into depth how about close this is.
45
That rapper has huge balls. He even flat out says no when they ask him to make a video. They seem to have a lot of guests who backfire on them.
45
Trump and Mike Johnson might give it to them.
44
I initially thought false 🚩but it makes Putin look too silly + risks internal race riots which 🇷🇺 is terrified of. Also, 🇷🇺 will always blame 🇺🇦 and 🇺🇸 for any industrial accidents or attacks of this nature.
44
The GLSDB announcement makes sense. I was wondering why nothing seemingly came out of it. It’s about time Belgium and Spain did something. Anything.
43
Sadly, life expectancy is much longer for those who can good healthcare and have never had to hard manual labor.
42
Your fury and ulcer producing frustration is righteous, Jake. Righteous is not a word I ever use, but it’s the only one that works here.
42
That or they’ve told them what they’ll do to their friends and families being held in prison if they don’t toe the line the FSB has given them. Another sensible motivation is they’re already planning runs for office when VP falls and want to show Russians how they were trying to help their situation when they get back.
41
If 🇺🇦 gets 4 miles closer to Tokmak, the bottleneck at the Novobohdanivka rail junction will be in HIMARS (and especially GLSDB) range and they can easily starve out the Russians.
39
Just donated to Peter’s final fundraiser and to Project Konstantin itself because he was a foreign supporter, like most of us, but instead of just giving money or time, donated his life to helping Ukraine.
38
This one life alone, taken for zero reason except that dwarf’s ego, is reason enough to justify giving as many arms as possible to end this war as quickly as possible. 22 year olds who just finished medical school should not be dying cause of a madman.
34
The ruble is rubble.
33
Dems like AOC, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib will also NEVER sign the discharge petition because it includes aid for 🇮🇱. So, we need at least 5-6 Republicans with us.
30
It was very moving.
30
I like when Jake is full of righteous anger. More media should be. How Russian is conducting themselves is absolutely disgusting.
28
Trump and Mike Johnson might give it to them. TBH though, this is just Putin playing to a domestic audience.
28
He’s been financed by them since the 1980s and they must have endless kompromat on him considering he was partying w/underage girls during the ‘80s + some of the ‘90s.
26
It will deter China from a Taiwan invasion. That’s worth literally trillions alone. There are many reasons why Russia winning would cost so many billions too, but that’s a more in-depth topic.
26
🇫🇷 has barely sent aid. They’ve sent a third of the aid Estonia despite a GDP of 3 trillion vs $37b and they’re blocking an initiative to buy non-EU shells. So, this threat is sadly a complete joke.
23
If I was terminally ill, Trump and Johnson would be in big trouble. I feel just like her. At this point I’m losing my mind.
23
Russia is like that psycho boyfriend. “If I can’t have you, nobody can!”
