Read up on the KMT when they ruled China. This was already prevalent even back then and perhaps prior to that. Hatred has always been taught in their culture.

A lot of these "investors" put their money in multiple properties that they share with other "investors" so even selling these properties is a nightmare.
9
That's why they're exporting their cheap, unregulated products abroad. Because the locals aren't making a dent in consumption.
9
They probably already are. For that low a price? You better believe that people are coming up with means and ways to scam people.
9
They don't innovate and they don't care about standards. They only want to make things for cheap. So that's not likely.
9
They love to talk big. Oftentimes they either lie or exaggerate.
9
Sad but not new. China under different rulers have always dealt with this. Epidemics were always a thing in China's ancient history. That should already tell you a lot about hygienic practices there.
9
@Lordtariq4233 getting a Huawei for free is an insult. Nothing good can come from it. It shows that you don't care about the person on the receiving end 😂
9
If you look at the things that sell to the Chinese, it's all the same. This is how you can explain why there are so many hotpot places or bubble tea places everywhere. What separates one from the other? They all sell the same thing. Do you see them trying Greek food, Italian food, or Caribbean food? No. They're not open to trying new things and always opt for what's familiar and the same.
9
@reginageorgetownuni This isn't "taking revenge", it's called "having common sense for once". Stop calling it what it isn't. It's just a bunch of empty buzzwords.
9
@xdangelovidz Instead of attacking one's credibility, why don't you actually dispute what is being said here with facts?

"No normal foreigner can expect to understand the Chinese in the sense of sharing a rational acceptance of their behavior" - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)

"The fighting in China is Chinese, and that means it is peculiar. Very little of it is fighting to a finish. The numbers slain in actual combat are astonishingly low in relation to the total forces engaged. Between two armies of approximately 50,000 men each, say, one may completely rout the other with no more than two or three hundred killed on both sides. The Chinese soldiers have little courage for determined conflict. They lack the exhilaration in strife, the blood lust of possible victory, that characterized the Japanese and some of the rest of us. And then they have nothing to fight for in a sense of vanquishing somebody else. The soldiers are in the army they happen to be in order to eat. They are there to escape death by starvation. Why would they risk it by bullets?" - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)

@Numischannel Cook the books in a wok made mostly of lead and gutter oil.
9
70 years? They've always been like this.
9
"It is common practice, where carts and wheelbarrows are used, for the farmers to bring a load of vegetables into market in the same conveyance used the day before to carry out a load of sewage. Nor would they dream of wrapping up the vegetables to prevent contact with the conveyance." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) Nothing new here.

Keep coping wumao

"A people who show surprising sensitivity of feeling and at the same time appall us with their seeming crudity of instinct, accomplished in craftsmanship yet living ever in houses falling to pieces, alert in business yet unable to make a success or large business themselves, quoting proverbs about truth in every breath and not to be believed in anything, always exasperating us and then mollifying our exasperation with a talent all their own, always busy and never getting anything done - four hundred million of them, upon a background of green paddies seen through slow rain, swirling yellow rivers with bobbing junks and rattan sails, above and through all the smell of a damp moldiness amid spiced cooking - that is China and the Chinese." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) Nothing to do with cultural revolution. They've always been like this.
8
You know that China lies about the numbers right? It simply doesn't make sense if consumption in the developed world is down and their exports went up. Something's amiss.
8
@davidshanahan5134 Where I live there are stores that stock up on garlic from the US and other countries like Spain so we have choices here thank goodness.
8
Money is one hell of a drug, especially for businesses that want a piece of the Chinese market.
8
@SCM0NDT Stop with this "like in the US" comments. It's absolutely ridiculous and not true.
8
Why is lying so normal in your culture?
8
They've always been like this. Nothing has changed.
8
Self awareness isn't one of their strong suits.
8
Is there even such a thing as "high quality" toys when a lot of them are made in China?
8
We don't know what the CIA does.
8
Seething anger and arrogance towards foreigners is something that is always boiling under the surface.
8
Numbers say otherwise. Even the numbers they lie about reflect this.
8
Don't forget the people who died as well. Dead people don't contribute to gdp.
8
China has always been like this. Look throughout history. This problem has never been fixed.
8
Didn't she already describe everyone? If a top tier city like Shenzhen is already experiencing this what more other parts of the country?
8
That's great because people of other countries don't feel the same towards you.
8
@KJ-tq3sm I'm with @loremasteringwion9930 on this one. More Chinese died and they were the ones who started it with the Indians. I don't know why you're making a case for the Chinese when they obviously fell short in that situation. The dead weren't even honored by the CCP.
8
Most of them are. And there's no shortage of people willing to sell their soul in China.
8
Self awareness isn't one of their strong suits
8
Yup. They're competing for jobs that aren't even there.
8
Anyone with basic food safe and cleanliness standards would have a field day. This is beyond disgusting.
8
@Henry-bl3lz "more modern and more safe" - that's funny.
8
It's like an addiction. They can't completely let go.
8
@TeeDee-j9u Wait. China was at the bottom once. It's now India's turn. They overtook China population-wise. They will overtake China economically as well.
8
And the world still keeps dealing with them...says a lot about the times we live in
8
@triadwarfare This is how they navigate the world. They think everyone acts and thinks like them.
8
Because they're also the ones who put them there.
8
"China's last warning" which is something that the Soviet's came up with applies with them all the time.
8
A lot of them are also in Vancouver
8
@sinag.hiraya The question is we already have reason to believe that they're there for nefarious reasons. What will they now do about it? They're already there.
8
Because of money. That's the main reason why we see all sort of these deals. China also has numerous shell companies (probably have some outside of China) to pose as buyers so they can always shirk sanctions.
8
@lilunchengsmiles entertainment despite the evidence? Yeah right...
8
You shouldn't. They don't feel sorry for you.
