@jjhappy2399 Japan did a lot of heinous things during WW2 but a lot of us in Asia have moved on. It's the older generation that won't let go of this. And keep repeating this to subsequent generations, generating a lot of hatred. Learn from the past and move on! Japan today isn't the same as Japan from the past.

You know what they say. Some people never learn and a sucker is born everyday.
6
Their cameras always seem to "break" when they need to look for perpetrators.
6
That's an oxymoron
6
They're not spending because they have no money. What do you mean punish corporations and their government? They're literally being squeezed out of everything they have.
6
Because they don't want competition.
6
Philippines is doing something about these crimes. For one, Filipinos don't keep a stiff upper lip. If they see something amiss you can bet that it would make its way to the media. Filipinos make it their business to know what's happening in their neighborhood.

@nobodyanybody3374 I have a friend from China and he told me that people in the US are still better off. Yes, the pay may not be the best but in general employees are protected by labor laws and have rights - he said that none of that exists in China.

If you live in the big cities, the air quality is already bad. Even if you don't inhale cars burning, the normal air will kill you.
6
@piotrmajewski5978 If there's one thing that has remained unchanged about the Chinese is that they refuse to change.
6
@janedoe4316 read up on China under the KMT. They were no different.
6
@ikme9393 Next thing they will be making will be jet engines. I wouldn't be surprised. Stay tuned 😱
6
The ones who have have created knockoffs of brands already exist. Innovation isn't their strong suit.
6
And you love to be entertained since you're always here.
6
@dukhi_aatma372 Yup. It's always been part of their culture.
6
"The readiness of all classes of Chinese to say whatever will please your ear at the moment, altogether irrespective of the truth, will be impressively noted in dealing with them" - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)
6
@TheQuota2001 No such thing as perfect culture. But some cultures have their act more so than others. Can't deny that simple fact since some cultures accomplish more than others.
6
Read up on China under the KMT, it was no different.
6
The fact that mechanics in China are finding it a pain in the ass to work on BYD batteries is very telling on BYD's complicated and sub par craftsmanship.
6
@kuebby Pretty much everyone in the last 4 years lol
6
@zatoichiable I buy made in China products when I have no choice. I always check where items are made. It's good that now a lot of products are being made elsewhere. So that's not always true anymore.
6
She targeted gullible men. Not all men are gullible.
6
@willpugh-calotte2199 it's difficult to turn a scholar into a farmer.
6
@kaasmeester5903 Not likely. The only reason why those improvements were made was because you had managers from overseas managing production, which meant there were standards in place. The Chinese manage based purely on politics. Their style of management doesn't allow for innovation and criticism because of their crab mentality and corruption.
6
So when you're not force feeding yourself, you become bulimic from binging and purging? Sounds like one hell of a "career".
6
When testing something, do you have to use your actual appendage, or can you use a dummy appendage so you don't actually have to get hurt? 🤣
6
She's still comtemplating going to China despite everything that's happened? Wow. Why not make a side trip to North Korea while she's at it?
6
A lot of Chinese are not actually educated about using fridges. Lots of them opt to buy fresh meat everyday.
6
@edmedina6398 They have better things to do. Stop accusing others of what Chinese do themselves. The whole world is already aware of this.
6
we have evolved away from those times already. So how do you determine the valuation of gold when it comes to buying things in today's market? Gold is no longer circulated as a currency in today's time. So you see what a mess this is going to be right?
6
Gambling is incredibly crazy in China though. You're talking about a people who don't even acknowledge the existence of gambling addictions, which makes it all the more serious.
6
Looks gross
6
"Anywhere and at almost any time in China, you can see a cart fallen on a man or a horse, or some similar accident, plentiful in the crowded streets, with curious onlookers not stirring a hand to lift the injured out of his predicament. This indifference to fellow suffering seems by all evidence to be distinctly oriental." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) They've always been like this. Nothing to do with communism. It's just in their culture.
6
@james-in2ps they are sellibg all over the world. There isn't a large demand for their stuff
6
They already have missles aimed there
6
@hunggiang1475 Then young people are truly screwed if they're taking direction from social media and not their parents who should be educating them about how money works.
6
At this point, a degree in logistics or a course in social media would probably be more useful if those are the careers you are pursuing.
6
@coreyjohnson145 my younger brother stopped over once en route from Canada to Thailand. I asked him "how was China?". His response was "I will never visit that God forsaken place ever again". 😂
6
the people who have the luxury to lie flat ie young kids can because they live with their parents. The rest of them put in the bare minimum just so that they can eat, but they don't go above and beyond what is required.
6
@andrewtaylor940 "China has the advantage of a population more easily governed by central authority than most, a people, who while quarrelsome in a back alley and neighborhood way, are as a population easily governed by moderately strong unified force. The great majority ask nothing more than to be let alone unoppressed. Yet those Chinese in strategic positions to exercise this moderate show of authority fall vastly short of the requirements for it. They betray and obstruct one another, maintaining a tug of war, with each pulling a different strand in a different direction, not one willing to give an inch in a common cause, each negotiating with temporarily allied henchmen to stab competitors in the back, each determined on no compromise which does not offer him a lion's share of the booty. " - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)
6
@BeatoricheChannel-yy4gk anytime I hear "they're so ahead" I already know it's propaganda.
6
Well, they are.
6
Problem is accessing these places. Lits of squatters don't have transportation so walking to and fro to the nearest groceries will be a headache, especially these places built further away.
6
Just like the cultural revolution. When Mao needed to export metal to Russia, the Chinese melted their pots and pans to meet the quota.
6
You don't need a Phd to become an engineer. Researchers and professors, yes, but most jobs don't require one.
6
@yelanchiba8818 And a lot of the women see their husbands as a meal ticket. The last thing they want to do is work because there is no incentive to do it. And if they do, unless they really love the guys, they will do it begrudgingly since being married was supposed to be the means for an easier life.
5
Do you know what those accessories and incense are even made of? If you can take comfort in blind ignorance without any regard for your health then that's your prerogative.
5
@rickrollrizal yup, they don't make an effort to learn local cultures and take their backward cultural practices with them.
5
@there_can_only_be_one__unicorn This will literally be me in a couple of years - Moving out of an expensive city in North America and heading back to Southeast Asia. No future here and it's too damn expensive. There's no more room for growth and improvement. Just saving up as much as I can before doing it.
5
@abrahamdsl That Haidilao gutter crap is in North America as well.
