  9. 92% voted in favour for ukraines independance from russia in 1991. All the oblasts voted in favour including donbas and crimea. Putin never recognised that vote and his propaganda, through his state tv, was broadcast to those border regions where most ethnic russians lived, from the moment he came to power. It created the ethnic division required, over time, to create firstly the political(yanukovych) puppet attempt and then the more aggressive military approach since maidan. All to ultimately recreate a new version of his beloved ussr. Or a "greater russian world" as a mighty superpower again to rival the west. The greater russians, the belorussians and their so called "little russians" of ukraine united once again.

Meaning he will end all military aid to ukraine probably first day in office..Which is what they want. They are also just as far right and nationalist as trump/maga. Tho trump/maga not imperialist. They are more isolationist. Which is a common trait of nationalists in general.

Bevin, Chamberlain, Eden, Halifax, Greenwood, Beaverbrook, Wood and Anderson who replaced chamberlain when he died. So to blame churchill alone is just nonsense. Also the official 1945 enquiry into the bengal famine found the national indian and local bengal governments foremostly responsible along with the viceroy at the time Linithglow. With the imperial government(war cabinet) also criticised. Tbf the local government and national officials had used their famine relief methods on previous famines and they had been successful. This famine though was far worse than previous and needed much firmer action. It needed the confiscation of all grain/rice in the country as a whole and rationing introduced. By the time the new viceroy wavell intervened with this policy 1 and a half million had starved to death. Even after rationing another 1 and a half million died after as people were too weak to fight off disease. Terrible tragedy. The uk government/cabinet has to take some share of the blame too. Japan had invaded the neighbouring countries, which created the famine. They also had control of the bay of bengal and were attempting to invade india through the bengal area. Ukraine is a democratic country where corruption has hampered their system in the past under putin cloned puppet yanukovych. Twice the people rose up against him. First when voting corruption led to the orange revolution and a rerun where his "poisoned" oppenent won comfortably. Then at the maidan when yanukovych after winning a close election chose to start oppressing and jail his political opponent yulia tymoshenko. He sent in snipers at maidan to shoot unarmed protestors. 122 died with thousands wounded. No way could he survive after that bloodbath. He fled and the rada reformed released tymoshenko and quickly arranged new elections that petro poroshenko won. The previous constitution that yanukovych had changed was reinstated Since then zelensky won the next election. So no the ukranian position was not some liberal politicians thinking differently. It was the people deciding twice that they did not want a putin puppet or a union of any kind with putins russia. Also found later in yanukovychs palace was evidence of voting corruption casting doubt on his earlier election win.

  50. Bombed for 8 years by ukraine? So the UN monitors there those 8 years, who noticed no bombing or the genocide that putin claimed was the reason for the invasion. They were sleeping during all these 8 years were they? Actually only 17% of ukranians in ukraine were ethnic russians. More in the east but not a majority. As in 1991 all the regions/oblasts voted to leave the union with russia and for ukraine to become independant. 92% voted that way nationally. So many ethnic russian ukranians must have voted the same way too.
