My counter point was that there are too many laws on the books as it is. If this creates burden, then abolish those laws. FORCE oversight of the out-of-control courts. Hold judges accountable like the German Judges were at Nuremberg.

While the police rarely ever enforce it, those laws are on the books to protect RESPONSIBLE drives from irresponsible pedestrians acting dangerously. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Those who think you can block a major road or Highway should try standing as a group on a busy railroad line and see if Sir Issaac Newton agrees with them.
