Excellent move! Poor people are poor voters...they can't see past their next meal.
1
Juan, it doesn't matter what the law is if there's no one to enforce it! How is that "the idea"?! "Help me understand", Juan...
1
Do you mean to say Schiff LIED?! More than once?! But, THAT'S ok, right?! Schiff won't suffer any consequences for lying repeatedly?! That's what I thought...and you want us to take you guys SERIOUSLY?! "Dreaming is free..."...
1
Catering to voters is traditional politics 101...and it's hypocritical..."I'll tell you what you want to hear to get your vote". Trump says, "This is what I see needs doing...vote for me if you agree". Do you see the DIFFERENCE!
1
Firing this teacher was a good first step--now prosecute her! You just gonna let her relocate her assholiness!? And victimize a host of other kids!
1
Should be take a look back in time...what would a castle under siege do about it? Hmm...there was good old boiling oil poured from above; there were archers...lots of archers...Castle defense is what you do if you have a castle.
1
Maybe everybody employed in government should wear bodycams so they can be validated in their work functions. Otherwise, how can you guarantee some psycho in uniform isn't gonna go off half cocked?! And, technically, aren't the citizens legally responsible for what their employees (i.e. government officials) do?!
1
When he texts, "I can't pull away", it sounds like he's admitting his bias has taken over, and he's powerless to regain his professional composure.
1
My only question, regarding Congress, is how deep does the CRAZY GO!? Nancy's the tip of the iceberg, and she's completely insane! Should I expect the majority of the rest of them to be similarly...compromised?!
1
Hmm..."Leftist morality"...isn't that an oxymoron?
1
Bret's the closest thing out there to a Walter Cronkite: his speech is always measured, and his delivery, careful. The DNC is not behaving rationally.
1
No true American is wearing a MASK! I kinda like being able to identify the non-Americans from 100 feet away--gives me a lot of leeway to avoid them...hahaha

The problem is getting out from under this arbitrary 20-day detention limit for the children!! This preserves catch'n'release. Maybe there's a loop-hole in this 20-day "law" that would allow the children, after 20 days to "graduate", if necessary, to accommodations more appropriate for extended stay. I'd like to know more about this so-called law; I always thought it was a judge's decision that had become enshrined in policy after a failed challenge to it. But this is the crux of the whole matter: 20 days is just not enough time for any government to do anything! What I don't get is how one law can invalidate another: if, indeed, it is possible for the proper execution of this 20-day law to result in the release of an illegal, undocumented alien into the US, then that law would be making the justice system complicit in the violation of immigration law. No? How not?
1
Look at Biden's feet! His legs were just too heavy to raise his feet as fast as he was requiring by his trotting pace. He is physically weak, and making poor decisions, as evidenced by his decision to trot up the steps.
1
"The democrats pledge..."--"hey, honey, what's for dinner?"
1
Do these recordings benefit/protect Trump? Maybe it'll work out that way. But the only other reason I can think of to secretly tape somebody would be to blackmail them in the future. I reject the idea that these recordings were undertaken by Cohen to protect himself because the best protection for Cohen would have been NO RECORDINGS, no evidence.
1
People should know the RULES of the 4-way STOP, you idiot! They're not being "nice", they're confused and scared, that's why they wait! Jeez...this guy's a tool..."I see nothing..."...
1
People! University is NOT REAL LIFE! What happens at a university cannot be considered representative of...everywhere else! Duh. You can laugh at 'em, but you can't just go taking them SERIOUSLY! And why doesn't that "go without saying"! "What PLANET is this?"...hehehe...
1
These kids need some courses in "class"! Manners 101! What sorry school system was that?!
1
No, people are not "bending to the will of President Trump"; that's so the wrong way to look at it. It may seem like they're bending to his will, but they're actually just trying to adjust in the way that best benefits their countries to Trumpology. Trump acts differently, necessitating different response than what these leaders are used to. While they're scrambling to formulate response, Trump has a moment of advantage from this slight confusion. But, even more importantly, Trump is seen as a new political entity: honest, genuine, approachable. People see a unique opportunity to get real. Acosta is a monkey wrench.

There's a problem with the general acceptance of the usage of the word, "obviously". And it's a logic problem. Some things are, indeed, obvious; but, others are not, like what goes on inside your head. Using the term, "obvious", in any of its forms, to describe something obscured from direct perception, is illogical...and stupid. But that's what they do all day...all agog with hyperbolic certainty! It's really not a good look...

The popular election of Senators in anti-Constitutional. This is just one reason it's a bad idea.
1
Paul's position is logical. No? I'd go further: every ex-govt employee's clearances should be routinely suspended; the president can then restore clearances selectively and temporarily as he determines a need. The sole purpose of these clearances is in the context of government activity; they serve no positive purpose in the possession of EX-govt employees--but a negative purpose in the ability to use these clearances to act against the president of the US, and by extension, all US citizens and interests. The myriad of low-level ex-employees would not like to act obtrusively, preferring to "leak" information. People, this IS the SIEVE! Govt leaks like a sieve because there are tens of thousands of these people out there.
1
Hahaha! Kilmead takes a sideways swipe at McConnell for not wearing a tie! Where the HELL are these people ASSEMBLED?! hahaha
1
Juan's heart is broken...BWHAAHAAHA...<singing>"Hooray for Hollywood"...
1
What "unarmed man" got shot?! The reporter asking the question is a propagandist! If you have a weapon, you are "armed"; a knife is a "weapon"; a man with a knife IS ARMED! The clueless idiocy of the reporter is a national embarrassment...So, this is a country informed by CHILDREN?! Well...YEAH!
1
Wow, Biden, while trying to interrupt, looks like an old man who forgot what he was interrupting to say! Ouch!
1
Wait a minute! Are you saying the charges against Cohen were illegitimate?! I don't think so! Don't the "charges" have to reference specific law?
1
His clarification is plausible, especially accounting for the effect of jet lag and the exhausting effect of his earlier NATO summit meeting. Trump could use a big hunk of sleep right about now.
1
Seems, maybe, elective surgery that destroys the body should be highly regulated. What studies have been done on the long term effects of severe hormone disruption? How does the medical community justify chemically altering bodies in unknown ways?
1
No machine, algorithm, or AI is ever going to be able to interfere as fairly as not interfering at all. Allowing these toys control over us is absurd. No, nothing should be "taken down". If you don't want exposure to a class of stimuli you can create a filter for YOURSELF, not for others!!!!!!!!!!! This sort of wide-ranging, sweeping censorship simply destroys the value of communication. People have to sue over this stuff. It's the only thing that's going to get a corporation's attention. Everyone who relies on social networks in some significant way to provide income for themselves has standing to sue those networks, or any entity that behaves in a way that damages a person financially. And NO class action suits; a million individual suits should do the trick. They should believe that cooperating with government will not be profitable. Maybe it's actually a tricky way for the government to break up these socnets; fool them into behaving in a way that drives their customers away, leaving them to die. The customers will flock to the start ups that will take the place of the existing, decrepit, socnets; and these start ups have no incentive to cooperate with the govt--until they get just a little TOO big.
1
Ooo-kk...Four million potential security leaks...jeez...I think I'll be laughing now every time I hear someone wants to find out who leaked something! Needle in a haystack time.
1
So, besides being more than passably funny, Gutfeld is also insightful: Trump's ongoing charm stems from his active defense of all the regular people who are actively marginalized by the left, especially celebrities, as if their (left/celebs) opinions were somehow just better than all the regular people who live their daily lives in reality.
1
If you think it's wrong, sue 'em. If not, you apparently think it's right. So what do you have to complain about?!
1
It's in the nature of a mob to be out of control.
1
If NK and SK make peace JUST to piss off Trump, it's still Trump's win.
1
Introducing laughter in such a sad world is also a Trump win!
1
Still stunned, eh? Oh, well some are just more able than others.
1
I listened to that list of Putin's "background", followed by the brief summary of the list: Putin's a bad guy. He's ACCUSED of this, that, and the other thing; the fact of accusation seems sufficient to determine guilt. I can't tell you how disappointed I am at the dearth of perspicacity embodied in the active pre-conceptions of so many people. Get curious.
1
At some point, the desire to LIVE must become IRRATIONAL...
1
Wow, the trolls are out in full force! I've never seen such vapid verbiage in one place before! "Cry me a river."
1
It doesn't matter how long women have been repressed, there can be no conceivable justification for the willful destruction of a person's life. Did he just say Avenati is the left's answer to Trump?! Everything is getting more and more transparent.
1
Tomorrow's headlines: Hannity Bribes Levin for Compliments. Or do they only lose their noodles when Trump is the one cracking a joke?
1
So much judgement, so little understanding. The more political legal proceedings become, the less just is the final adjudication.
1
The teachers are bullies!...ironic...
1
If Trump is an "imposter", why isn't Pelosi?! Pelosi seems to be saying elections are not to be trusted/accepted! I wonder if SHE would be elected in a FAIR, LEGAL election! You know the kind, where only citizens vote! hahaha
1
Wheeler says, "Don't think for a moment..."! hahaha...At least, he practices what he preaches! It's just that his sermon is STUpID!
1
She's a "California professor" (and packing a bike lock?), so...she's a deep leftist, for whom "the ends justify the means" is gospel. To top it off, this is a recently revealed repressed memory. Some professionals don't even accept repressed memory as a thing. This is probably what happened: one of her activist buds found out she went to high school with Kavanaugh and pressured her to use that fact creatively for the cause--which is what she's doing.

Most comments seem unsympathetic, and I understand that--as long as you're talking about IQ-normal people. But low-IQ people are simply incapable of behaving normally, without guidance. It's a short reach to associate poverty and petty criminality with low IQ. I feel really sorry for sub-normal IQ people. No matter how hard they try (and they do try hard) they just don't get it. They're forced to live in a world they don't understand the rules to, and never will. Frustration mounts into attitude and behavior problems. The mentally disadvantaged are a truly sorry lot. The kicker: most of what could be done to help them directly is either illegal or immoral.
1
Both Booker and Beto stumbled at the starts of their "spanish" exhibition--a performance that falls short of fluency. If you have to show off, make sure you've GOT something to show off...
