  14. Also, FYI: Many dentists run a scam that says you have to pay NOW and then you can get your money BACK from the insurance. THIS IS A SCAM. It is completely untrue, but they do it because most people just go along with it. If you don't have the money to pay ahead, tell your dentists that you want the treatment ON APPROVAL. That means the dentist has to contact the insurance company and ask them to approve the payment BEFORE he does the procedure. They'll either approve it or not, just like with any other insurance, but you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY a penny ahead of being reimbursed. (The agent who gave me this information actually laughed at the dentist who tried it!)

Saw it coming and now here we are, with a growing population of people who cannot even do basic arithmetic, who need machines to tell them everything from the total tax at the store to how many states are in the US or who was the president in 1988 (not to mention 1942) or the difference between a heifer and a steer. This country is far more filled with bitterness and hatred than most sane people want to admit, but it's not the decent "best" place we all pretend it is.
