These cut-and-dried categories are harming the country, not to mention being ridiculously simplistic. There are people placed at every. single. step. of the spectrum from center-left to rigidly "progressive". (I'd still like to see a definitive meaning assigned to that term.) Sneering at anybody who doesn't agree with EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING only showcases the rigidity and lack of realpolitik being indulged in.

There's almost no chance of any kind of revelation that will dump Biden in the trash the way Comey's did to Hillary. They've been trying like hell to dig anything up, and haven't come up with anything even close to turning the election against him.

(Which is not a constitutional issue, seeing as how the Constitution says nothing about how MANY justices there should be, let alone the fact that right-wingers were perfectly fine with 8 justices so long as it was convenient for THEM.) Or do you mean real court packing, as in filling the existing number of seats with as many partisan hacks as possible in order to make right-wing politics the law of the land for the next few decades?

  50. It's only baffling if you assume he knows what the First Amendment says. I'm not convinced he's ever even looked at it. And the crowd is cheering because people in that group view the flag as a sacred religious symbol on a par with the crucifix. They don't see burning it as speech, they see it as blasphemy, literally. People have been executed for blasphemy throughout history - hell, they still are in some places. These people would be happy to see a flag-burner burnt at the stake for it.
