Funnily enough this is also true of many immigrant families who aren't having as many kids as their parents, either. Get a decent government, stabilise the economy and the population will be replicating like bunnies.

How much of that funding is going to Tory pal's companies to provide track n trace or overpriced tests? I'd wager most of that increase is from pandemic spending rather than being spent on primary care.

Is a common thing in the US for extremists to attack anyone who wants a better life by saying they were 'Reds' - even poor old Reverend King was called that. I was whatsapping my mate well over a week ago remarking on the astonishing speed of the Taliban's advance and wondering how it was happening and who was supporting them (as happened with ISIS)... Now, if I as a jolly internet commenter was aware of what's going on, am pretty sure Boris would have had a stack of classified intelligence the size of a telephone book and generals telling him how bad things were... yet apparently he didn't take ANY NOTICE to it.
