@johnmoore9862 I'm not a leave voter - maybe that's why. I'm quite worried about what's going to happen next year.
1
Tomakak But that's history and under a different leader.
1
Tomakak Well don't make comments as if you know them, when you haven't bothered to find out.
1
Tomakak Chauvinist.
1
Tomakak So can you. Sorry I descended to your level (as you started it) and for a moment I was tempted to find a better insult.
1
@Bilal Khalid I agree and it's clear that was always going to be the case. Anyone who thinks there's a brilliant deal to be had or that we can leave without penalty is fooling themselves.
1
@luciatilyard2827 I don't disagree with you. There's no easy answer. We will be damaged as we come out though.
1
but Parliament won't be fooled. Theresa May already tried that and failed.
1
They still do.

The Iranian government sees itself as 'God' does it?

@josephhenry9924 15 million include vulnerable people under 70 and also they don't tell you but some areas have already been vaccinating over 65s so some of them will be in the figures. Also nurses and care workers, doctors and hospital admin staff have been offered the vaccine and will be in the figures and they won't be over 70.
1
@rocklover7437 Also, the common cold mutates too fast, and it's not a serious illness, so it's not worth the effort and expense of producing vaccines and vaccinating everyone. Vaccines would have to be changed and administered too frequently. How many of the 15 million who've had Covid vaccines have died so far?

Because they tell the truth. The Conservatives have just taken a BBC announcement about more government money for education and put it on their website with a headline doubling the amount of money. All you get is propaganda unless you have a TV station whose charter obliges it to be fair, truthful and non-biased. That doesn't mean you won't hear views and opinions you don't like, but you will hears opposing views too and the BBC will be paying people to check facts before publicising them.

Unusual and unfortunate factors that worked against this poor kid included lockdown where he was kept indoors while schools were closed so he wasn't seen at school where he might have alerted someone or be noticed missing from school. Another aspect was that he was taken from his real mother as she had stabbed a partner to death. She appeared to love her son though and probably would have protected him or her parents would have, whereas the child's father did not protect him. He seemed like a lovely boy. It seems to be a case of a new partner not wanting him and his father caring more about his new partner than his child. Also his father seemed like a weak minded man, with not much independent thought. He believed everything his partner said and did everything she wanted.

I only like parties when there are people I know and like there - friends. I hate parties where everyone is a stranger. It's difficult to know what to talk about. I'm no good at small talk and there's pressure to seem like you are enjoying yourself. It must be worse if you are famous like Stephen Fry. People expect you to be funny and entertaining all the time.
1
She has to beat Louis XIV's record.
1
Well it gives both parties the opportunity to give their point of view. Where is the bias?
1
@realfreedom8932 I hear them talking about deaths but greater infection rates lead to more deaths and blocking of hospitals so other serious illnesses are not treated when they should be.
1
@realfreedom8932 The reason it's not overwhelming hospitals at the moment is because of the measures taken to slow down the spread of the virus. If the death rate is better than the cancer death rate, that's because of the measures taken to slow down the spread of the virus. There are countries .e.g in central America, where health services were overwhelmed by it and dead people were stored in lorries on the streets and there were queues for cemeteries . Dementia patients are being protected for the sake of their health and that of their carers. Having said that, I hope care homes find a way to allow visits because of the effect on the quality of life of the elderly without contact with their families.
1
Arran Robeson If your question was written in intelligible English so that people understood what you meant, someone might answer you.
1
@s m They are also looking at indicators like the number of hospital admissions which are rising steeply now, especially in the North of England and Wales. Deaths is another indicator. Deaths are not rising as steeply, but there is usually a 2 week time lag between the two.
1
@s m Presumably Covid is on the certificates because the doctors recognise the symptoms and signs even if there hasn't been a test.
1
@s m Not necessarily. Doctors are allowed to state what they believe to be the cause of death, That's normal for normal death certificates where no autopsy needs to be performed. In the beginning tests weren't always as available either. If you remember the government guidance for care homes said that some patients would be sent to care homes from hospital untested and some might have Covid but that care homes would be able to cope. That wasn't true as care homes didn't have the PPE or any other equipment such as ventilators at the time,.
1
@s m What proof? There is no 'new world order' only new world chaos and disorder. Some leaders are not capable of creating any kind of order, new or otherwise.
1
But what is the definition of a particle? How does it relate to atoms?
1
*O BBC. You have an educational remit. It's 'hangs precariously' not ''hangs precarious'.
1
Will he be taking Wynken and Nod with him?
1
NBA HIGHLIGHTS I was reminded of the children's poem 'Wynken, Blynken and Nod by Eugene Field.
1
It's what the Tories always wanted.
1
More living than many of the couch potatoes watching, I'd guess.
1
No one can. The EU will not budge. Theresa May has already been through that process. We are heading for a 'no deal' by default now.
1
SEEK THE TRUTH! You surely don't believe that? There's nothing after death. You need to make the most of life.
1
@reasonerenlightened2456 It saves on energy costs of cooking. I think if people work they feel entitled to a little treat now and again otherwise what are they working for? Also people who work long hours may not always have time for shopping and cooking.
1
@reasonerenlightened2456 What, you mean laws that protect against theft? What are you getting at here? People work to live and to get some satisfaction from it if they possibly can. They also work if they were not born with a large inheritance.
1
@daftwod You made that last bit up. Why not tell the truth yourself? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_websites_blocked_in_mainland_China
1
@daftwod I only get the funny ones.
1
@daftwod Never mind dear, You'll get better with practice.
1
@daftwod Stop being paranoid. In the end countries have economic power. There aren't really pure communist countries. Russia changed from communism to capitalism and China is more of a hybrid between communism and capitalism. The problem with those countries is that they are not democratic but I think another global war would wipe us all out or at the very least it would destroy any democracy in the world. Don't go down that route.
1
Research published in 'Public Health' found that in early May, at the height of the pandemic deaths, only 18 percent of people with Covid symptoms self-isolated properly and only 11% quarantined properly after being in contact with a confirmed case.
1
@rGxDale Data always = money once it gets outside of the NHS and it should be private unless a person gives consent, but I think the UK government (Tories) recently changed the data protection act to allow them to sell off or share people's data.
1
@rGxDale Management is not just about managing or manipulating data. It's about managing people and systems too so that organisations work coherently, efficiently, and safely to achieve their aims.
1
Mitch McConnell can say all he likes, but unless he voted to impeach it's a useless gesture and Trump can stand for office again.
1
1 2 I've already said so.
1
@bladimirrojas2712 Nicaragua has had 25 cases.
1
@rafsccp Germany? New Zealand?
1
@rafsccp Not necessarily because the population of Italy is more densely packed into cities or just as densely packed, relatively to their size.
1
@rafsccp I think my comment was just in relation to the success of their Covid control policies.
1
@DettenbachDe I agree that's true but low level testing also co-incides with corrupt politicians unwilling to spend on adequate public health planning to protect their populations from pandemics. I think the numbers are probably not far off in relative terms though I don't think they are fully inclusive and accurate in actual terms. The number of deaths are definitely fishy for some countries. Russia's death toll looks suspiciously low compared to the number of cases they've had, for instance and places like Ecuador and Mexico have been so overhwelmed by the numbers of sick and dying that it's hard to believe they are collecting accurate figures. There are video films taken outside mortuaries which count more in a day than are being officially declared.
1
@Delboy0 3 million fewer people voted for Trump than for his opponent. It was the electoral college that swung it for him. Boris Johnson is just a big liar. I don't know what excuse Brazilians have for voting for Bolsonaro. They are all populists though.
1
@neytiritetskahamoatite7688 Jair Bolsonaro doesn't respect his people much. I think men just like his macho attitude, but the rain forest will be destroyed under his watch things don't change.
