The MSM has divided its dollars half supporting the PROs and the other half supporting the CONs To have a revelation about reporting on Trump as something new Please Clinton should have been the biggest red flag. It seems you are a dime short and a dollar late. What is going on in the school systems should never have gotten away from you and I do not doubt one bit that it has. 2020 -21 CRT 2021-22 Gender issues I just can not wait to hear the new topic in 2022-23. I do know this, once the dust has settled we have these offsprings of issues surrounding the whole Gay Rights issues. Candace loves to use the left as the punching bag but it was a left-right that gave the knock-out punch. The gay right was an American fight and now I have to live with it. But my whole point is how we paint this mural with only left strokes.

When we push divisive rhetoric as opposed to constructive narratives at times like these I will disagree. Her attack on the current conditions of black/people is not waking people up it is putting them to sleep and I just refuse to believe she is unaware of that. The war on poverty started in 1929 but then all Americians were made poor. The war on drugs started in the 70s by the republicians. and it got away from them in the late 90s. It was Hoover's neglect of blacks during the great depression. Hoovers 300 M and 1B to aid the American people did not make their way to the poorest people. Even the "new deal " failed to drain into the poorest areas. The actions of Jim crow were endorsed by the republicans and never disputed over time. LBJ did not want to run in 1964 but his wife encouraged him to and he did not campaign until after that DNC in Chicago. The AFDC act of 1935 was just added to the war on poverty but we still use it as an excuse for the decline of the black family. Reagan and Clinton dismantled the welfare program. But Nixion began to dismantle the Great society Act. His war on drugs created a foundation for mass incarceration. This is 2022 and the family conditions have not improved. Why is it still the 1964 welfare programs? Our path today has many pros and cons which has brought us to our current circumstances but the biggest result was the ripping apart of our UNITY.

Yes we have became manipulated from 1968-1973 when the Organized Crime families were brought down and the reconstruction of the Mod's business was to diverted to the black communities and the White on White crime went underground to wall street and Washington. People were born into and influenced by the people in front of them.

Much like how we have adopted the use of "the left" to highlight all the negativity that exists today. LBJ was not all alone in using the N-word. The real question is why did he use that word and make that statement at the time when he was signing that legislation?

When I look at our children graduating from HBCUs I see positivity. The practice was common and politics was something that later developed and to just say it was democrats nope. Regardless of his hidden agenda FDR took on a great depression four years deep and The republicans believed the economy would correct itself but it did not and even FDR could not have done that. In the meantime, everyone who lost everything was out on the streets. Go look at your people back then. The 60s led to the 70s great migration from the cities. Along with that move went education, business, and the economy all surrounding their new homes built with government funds. Left behind were the inner cities if you were black this is where you now live. Nixion started a war on drugs and Reagan started supplying drugs. housing I am not going to lend favor to the one I support while darkening any good attributes of the other when both have neglected America.

Marijuana is a federal crime but states are winning to make it legal and eventually it will land at the SCOTUS Abortion was a state issue that landed at the SCOTUS. Interracial marriage was a crime and it eventually landed at the SCOTUS. The point is we have a local, state, and federal government that should represent "we the people" and if we can not resolve something we should count on the SCOTUS to be the arbitrator of the debate not take sides on the issue. Your argument is more semantics than due process. We the people have an issue where 70% say Yes and 30% say no the SCOTUS has a responsibility to resolve the issue YES or NO and after 49 years return to maybe which is what they did should be unacceptable to the 70% because of the 30% and the 30% was where the 70 % is today. They just kicked the can down the road.

The SCOTUS should be the arbitrators to come between disputes with the law and we the people. All decisions should be final to end said grievances. Never should the Court render a decision on personal beliefs, political sides, or religious beliefs. The cases you used to reference the overturning of Roe V Wade fall into eyes wide open when they should have been tightly shut. In the 1950 case on education, we should not have had to return 4 years later. Dreed Scoot was resolved with the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 followed by the 13th in 1864 and the 15th amendment in 1865. The court did not overrule their decision. But we can come up with arguments Pro or Con either should not weigh the court down for 49 years because one side did not like the results. This is a YES or No issue Not a kick the can down the road again. Are you aware that Cannabis is going to land at the SCOTUS doorstep? It is traveling through the states as we speak. Much like Gay Rights made their way to the Courts by way of the states. And abortions were also challenged at the state level where multiple description and religious opponents fought the laws. Abortion has federal laws on the books. I do not care how an individual feels If we can not count on the SCOTUS to be the middle man we do not need them. There should never be right-wing or left-wing Judges.

Black people started leaving the part as a result of the great depression and Hoover. What had "the republican party" become? But all available black voters supported the GOP and the party of Lincoln.

This starts with LBJ and it is 1964-65 what had the existing republicans done for the American people prior to then? Since the civil war, we have had 20 republicans and 10 democrats and the results today are questionable. Since LBJ we have only had 3 democrats and all did better by the American people. I just do not get the need for the republicans to expand when they were winning. The FDR era was the wake-up call for republicans because they had never been out of the white house for so long,

  50.  @mikerobinson9723  Hey I think that an option is better than no option. I also think that another minute should be wasted. If School Choice means sending a child to an area where a better education can be provided do it. If starting a Charter school inside the community to offer a better education then get one started quickly. There are two schools about 8 miles apart on the same street and the educational results are polar opposite. Makes no sense to me. Every child does not have the same capacity to learn but there was once a huge focus on vocational teaching but funding has wiped them out makes no sense to me. Communities have died out. When I was in school parents were in the school house constantly. Parents became part of the school board. PTA meeting was a part of the focus on the children. The Doctors, nurses, lawyers, businessmen, Preachers and carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and even the current Mayor came out of that community. Sunday mornings meant church, Baseball out in the field, and good eating. There was a harmony that supported the growth of their offspring. Education needs to be repaired and made the number one priority on a local, state, and federal level. But Communities need to be revived, families need to reunite, and most importantly our relationship with God needs to be rekindled.
